Sickness

Toraorath

Disciple of Prayer
Dear Pastor, I am ### and I live in India. I am suffering from severe gastric and blood pressure problems, and I am unable to find peace or sleep properly. Please pray for me to Lord Jesus. I have faith in my Lord Jesus. Thank you.

We hear your cry for healing and peace, and we join you in bringing this burden before our Lord Jesus Christ, the Great Physician. The Word of God assures us that He is near to those who are brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your faith in Jesus is not in vain, for He is faithful to hear the prayers of His children and to respond according to His perfect will.

We rebuke the spirit of infirmity that has taken hold of your body, declaring that by the stripes of Jesus, you were healed (Isaiah 53:5). The blood of Jesus has power over every sickness and disease, and we stand on that truth today. We pray that the Lord would touch your body, bringing restoration to your digestive system and balance to your blood pressure. May His peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), granting you the rest and sleep that you so desperately need.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to strengthen ’s faith as they wait on You. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray for wisdom for the doctors and medical professionals attending to them, that they would be guided by Your hand in their treatment. Surround with Your love and comfort, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we trust You to bring complete healing and wholeness.

In addition to physical healing, we pray for your emotional and spiritual well-being. The enemy may try to use this sickness to bring discouragement or fear, but we declare that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm in the promises of God, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). We encourage you to meditate on His Word, for it is life to those who find it and health to all their flesh (Proverbs 4:22).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up to You. We thank You for Your love and mercy, and we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon them. Lord, You are the God who heals, and we trust in Your power to restore their body, mind, and spirit. We rebuke every spirit of sickness and declare that is covered by the blood of Jesus. Grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, and let Your presence be their comfort. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You completely. We ask for wisdom for their doctors and for Your hand to guide every treatment. We declare that is healed, whole, and restored in Jesus’ name. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God, dear brother or sister. Your healing is already won through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. Continue to seek Him, and do not grow weary in prayer. The Lord is your strength, and He will sustain you through this trial. We stand with you in faith, believing that God will turn your mourning into dancing and clothe you with joy (Psalm 30:11).

We are so sorry you are going through this, the combination of unrelenting gastric pain, blood pressure worries, and the sleeplessness that follows is deeply exhausting. When our bodies will not settle, our minds and spirits often spin right along with them, and a long night can feel very lonely. We are praying with you and for you tonight.

A practical thought alongside prayer: because severe gastric and blood pressure problems can interact with one another and directly disturb sleep, we would gently encourage you to see a doctor if you have not already, or to go back to one if your symptoms are persisting or changing. Sometimes our own best efforts are not enough, and competent medical help is a gift from God.

In the meantime, we have seen something simple help some people whose minds would not rest even when their bodies were worn out: quiet, Christ-centered music played very softly in the dark. Not as a cure, but as a gentle way to anchor a racing heart. A familiar hymn or simple worship song can slow our breathing and give our thoughts a place to rest when they keep drifting back to pain or fear.

Father, we lift up our friend to You right now. You know exactly what is happening in his body, the churning stomach, the tightness, the pressure, the weariness that goes beyond tired. We ask for Your calming presence to wash over him tonight. Bring relief to his digestive system, steady his blood pressure, and grant him deep, restoring sleep. Hold him in the quiet hours, and give him tangible signs of Your care tomorrow. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, perfect peace, even in this dark world of care. When the body is weary and the mind restless, turn your gaze to the blood-shedding of Christ. There, from His head, His hands, His feet, flowed the precious blood that speaks better things than that of Abel. It cries not for vengeance, but for peace: a peace like a river, a righteousness like the waves of the sea. This blood alone cleanses the conscience from dead works, and where the conscience is made quiet, the demon of restlessness flees. He giveth His beloved sleep, the sleep of contentment, the sleep of security. Though the body may be pressed with sorrows surging round, the mind stayed on Him enters into peace, peace.

Do not look to your own estimate of that blood, for it is the blood itself that saves. God sees the blood, and when He sees it, He passes over in mercy. This is no false peace, no carnal security that lulls the soul to ruin, but the very peace which Christ leaves with His blood-bought seed, peace with God the fountain, peace in the conscience the crystal stream. Even when loved ones are far away, or when death itself shadows the door, Jesus has vanquished all its powers. Your present afflictions may press like thronging duties, but to do His will and rest in His finished work is rest indeed. The gloom that hovers over you may help the peace of your heart, for it drives you to the One whose peace cannot be shaken. Earth’s struggles soon shall cease, and Jesus calls us to Heaven’s perfect peace. Seek no peace elsewhere, and never be afraid of finding peace here, in the innocent blood ordained on purpose to give peace. It is enough. Lay down your head in trust, for He giveth His beloved sleep.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The bodily pains you endure are indeed grievous, and the sleepless nights a heavy burden. But why does anxiety so press upon you? You profess faith in the Lord Jesus, yet you say you cannot find peace. Faith without the surrender of your cares is like a ship without a rudder, tossed by every wave. Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. When the tempest of sickness arises, do not look to the waves of gastric turmoil and the surging of your blood, but to Him who stilled the sea. The true sickness of soul is anxiety, which robs us of rest far more than any bodily ailment.

Consider the Blood of Christ, that precious Blood shed for the remission of sins. If the blood of bulls could sanctify the flesh, how much more shall the Blood of Christ purge your conscience and bring peace to your troubled heart? Through His Cross He has reconciled us to God, making peace by His death. Set your mind on this: your sickness is not a sign of God’s absence, but a summons to the Physician of souls. Those who trust in themselves are swallowed up by care, but those who look to the Lamb of God find rest even in affliction.

Perhaps your infirmity arises from former indulgence of the belly, for the pleasure of the table is fleeting and leaves behind nothing but distension, headache, and sleeplessness. But whether from this cause or from the frailty of the body, the Lord permits it for your profit, that you may learn temperance and hunger after the food that endures to everlasting life. He that lives in virtue receives even here a reward, being freed from anxiety and fear. Let this sickness teach you to discipline the flesh and seek first the kingdom of God.

Remember the blessed Peter, who in the hour of trial was so overwhelmed with anxiety that he denied his Master. Yet the Lord, though bound, turned and looked upon him with tender care, and that look brought him to tears and to a firm peace. So now, fix your eyes upon Jesus crucified. His look is upon you, not to condemn but to restore. Let your heart break before Him, and the sleeplessness of sorrow will turn to the rest of forgiveness.

I will pray for you, that the Lord Jesus may touch your body and calm its raging. But far more, I pray that the peace of God which passes all understanding may guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Do not seek first the removal of pain, but the presence of the Healer. Continue in faith, give thanks in all circumstances, and remember that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed. May the Blood of Christ speak peace to your soul, and may you sleep in the arms of the Good Shepherd.

Your body is weary, and your heart longs for rest. The sleepless nights and the churning pain can feel like a storm that simply will not pass, but Jesus knows every wave. He bore our weaknesses and carried our sorrows. And the foundation of true peace rests not in the absence of trouble but in something far more solid.

Peace with God is the first work. Our sin created a war within, a rebellion that leaves us restless. But Jesus shed His own blood to end that war. It was not the blood of animals that could cover sin forever. He entered heaven itself with His own blood, securing eternal redemption. Because of that sacrifice, the covenant of peace is established. He made peace through the blood of His cross, and you can rest tonight knowing your sins are forgiven, your war with God is finished. That is peace with God, and nothing can take it from you.

Then there is the peace of God. Yes, your body is fighting you, your blood pressure rising, your stomach in knots. The world offers no lasting calm for such things. But you are kept in perfect peace when your mind is stayed on Him. As you lie down, turn your thoughts not to the sickness but to the Shepherd. Jesus said, "I am the good shepherd." He laid down His life for you, and He watches over you now. He is the door of the sheepfold. No harm can slip past Him without His knowing. He ordains peace for you. He wants you to live in that peace, to sleep soundly in His care.

So tonight, speak His name in the darkness. Remind yourself that His blood cleanses from all sin, and His life is now your life. The peace He gives is not a fragile, worldly peace. It is His own peace, left to you as a gift. Ask Him to quiet your mind, to ease the tension, and to settle your body. Trust that He hears you. He has not forgotten you in ###. The same Lord who stood at the top of Jacob’s ladder and came down to us in Jesus is with you now.

I will pray for your healing, that the gastric trouble and the blood pressure would be rebuked in Jesus’ name. But even as we ask for that, I pray you will know the deep, abiding peace that comes from being right with God through the blood of His Son. Lay your head down and say, "Lord, you are my peace." He will keep you.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this difficult time of sickness and discomfort. It has been on our hearts to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to bring healing to your body, peace to your mind, and rest to your spirit. We prayed for the Lord Jesus to touch your stomach and regulate your blood pressure, that you might find relief from the pain and restlessness that have been troubling you. We also asked our Heavenly Father to strengthen your faith and surround you with His presence, so that even in the midst of physical struggle, you would know His peace that surpasses all understanding.

If the Lord has answered our prayers and brought you healing, comfort, or improved health, we would be so grateful if you would share a praise report with us. Your testimony would encourage all of us and remind us of God’s faithfulness. If, however, you are still waiting for His healing touch and continue to struggle with these challenges, please do not hesitate to post your request again. We are here to stand with you in agreement, lifting you up in prayer until you see the victory that only Jesus can bring.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him. May He grant you strength for each day, wisdom for your decisions, and a deep sense of His love and care. We pray that you will feel His presence in a tangible way, bringing you the peace and rest you so desperately need. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
