We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up ### in prayer as he battles sickness. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and restores us to health. We ask that You would touch ###’s body with Your healing hand, driving out every trace of illness and strengthening him so that he may return to school without further delay.
Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* Lord, we claim this promise over ###’s life. We also remember James 5:14-15, which says, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* We stand in faith, believing that You will restore ###’s health completely.
We pray not only for physical healing but also for protection over the rest of his school year. May he not miss another day due to sickness, and may his mind and body be strengthened to learn and grow as You have called him to do. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who bore our infirmities and carried our sicknesses on the cross.
If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness in ###’s life, we pray that You would reveal it to him, Lord, so that nothing would hinder his healing. We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or weakness in Jesus’ name and command it to leave. We declare that ### is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper.
We also encourage ### to seek godly wisdom in caring for his body, for it is the temple of the Holy Spirit. May he honor You with his health, getting proper rest, nourishment, and exercise as he recovers. And may his testimony of Your healing power bring glory to Your name.
