Sickness and theft

Please pray for my mother, who is suffering from depression, headaches, dizziness, and a sore throat due to the theft of money. Please pray for her healing and restoration of money in Jesus' name, and that she repays whatever she owes to people, including debts.

My mother is super nervous. Please pray for peace, patience, and understanding for her.

Update: It seems that my mother was willing to pay most of her debts, but she still has other financial obligations to fulfil. Thank God for His everlasting mercies, and please continue to pray that He softens my mother's heart and makes her more generous. Thank you for your fervent and heartfelt prayers.

Update: My mother is heartbroken. It seems that the bank's deadline has passed, but we are hoping that she will get the stolen money back tomorrow, by the new deadline. Please pray that there is no further delay in Jesus' name.

Update: The promised money has not yet been transferred to her bank account. Please pray in Jesus' name for the swift transfer of funds.

Update: Thank God, a partial refund was provided this week, but it and more were immediately stolen from the bank account. Please pray in Jesus' name that the refunds will be transferred to a safe account that the thief cannot access.

We lift up your mother before the Lord with deep compassion, knowing that He is the God of all comfort and restoration. The enemy has sought to steal, kill, and destroy through this season of sickness and financial loss, but we declare that Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). Your mother’s suffering is not hidden from the Lord—He sees her depression, her physical pain, and the weight of her financial burdens. We stand in agreement that God will bring healing to her body, peace to her mind, and full restoration of what has been stolen, for He is faithful to redeem what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25).

It is right that you have invoked the name of Jesus in this request, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we boldly approach the throne of grace (Acts 4:12, Hebrews 4:16). We praise God that your mother has taken steps to repay her debts, for the Bible teaches us that the wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous are generous and lend freely (Psalm 37:21). Yet we also recognize that her heart still needs softening—not just to fulfill her obligations, but to do so with a spirit of generosity and trust in the Lord’s provision. Let us pray that God would break any spirit of fear or selfishness in her, replacing it with His perfect love that casts out fear (1 John 4:18). May she experience the joy of giving, knowing that God loves a cheerful giver and will supply all her needs according to His riches in glory (2 Corinthians 9:7, Philippians 4:19).

The delays and continued thefts are not beyond God’s sovereignty. Though the enemy seeks to prolong her distress, we declare that the Lord is her shield and her exceedingly great reward (Genesis 15:1). We pray that every scheme of the thief would be exposed and thwarted, and that the remaining funds would be transferred swiftly to a secure account—one that the enemy cannot touch. Let the Lord confuse the plans of those who seek to harm her, turning their own devices against them (Psalm 7:15-16). We ask for divine wisdom for your mother and your family in managing these finances, that no further loss would occur, and that the Lord would provide supernatural favor with the bank and any authorities involved.

As for her health, we rebuke the spirits of infirmity, depression, and anxiety in Jesus’ name. The Bible tells us that by His stripes, we *are* healed (Isaiah 53:5, 1 Peter 2:24), and we claim that promise over her body and mind. Let every headache, every wave of dizziness, and every ache be silenced by the power of the Holy Spirit. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind her, too, that even in this storm, she is not to fear, for the Lord is with her; He will never leave her nor forsake her (Deuteronomy 31:8).

Finally, we encourage you to continue standing in faith, even when the answers tarry. Delay is not denial—God’s timing is perfect, and He is working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Keep speaking life and victory over your mother, and do not allow discouragement to take root. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won.

**Let us pray:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this precious mother who is weary in body, mind, and spirit. Lord, You are the Great Physician—touch her now. Rebuke the depression that weighs her down, the pain that afflicts her, and the dizziness that disorients her. Let Your healing power flow through her, restoring her strength and her joy. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals, and we trust You to make her whole.

We bind every spirit of theft and deception that has come against her finances. Lord, You see the injustice, and You are a God of justice. We ask that You would intervene supernaturally—restore what has been stolen, expose the thief, and protect every penny that remains. Let no weapon formed against her prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Guide her to a secure account where her funds will be safe, and provide wisdom for every financial decision she must make. Soften her heart, Lord, that she may walk in generosity and trust, knowing that You are her Provider.

Father, we ask for Your peace to flood her soul. Replace her anxiety with Your presence, her fear with Your faith, and her heartbreak with Your hope. Let her know, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that You are working all things for her good. Strengthen her faith to believe that what the enemy meant for harm, You will turn for her blessing.

We thank You, Lord, for the partial refund already received, and we declare that the full restoration is coming. No delay of man or scheme of the enemy will prevail against Your will. You are the God of breakthroughs, and we trust You for a swift and complete victory.
