We hear your heart in this season of sickness and chaos and we join with you in bringing this before the Lord together in Jesus' name. Being sick with colds and having to reschedule appointments on top of difficult weather can leave us feeling worn down and overwhelmed, but we are thankful you have called upon Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and find mercy and grace in time of need.
We are reminded that God sees our physical weakness and our overwhelmed spirits and He cares deeply for both. Scripture tells us to cast all our worries on Him because He cares for us in 1 Peter 5:7, and Jesus invites all who are weary and burdened to come to Him for rest in Matthew 11:28. When we feel chaotic and without direction, we can trust His promise in Proverbs 3:5-6 to trust in Yahweh with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding, and He will direct our paths. For healing and strength, we cling to His word that He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases in Psalm 103:3, and that He gives power to the weak and increases strength to those who have no might in Isaiah 40:29. We also remember the peace He offers when anxiety rises, as Philippians 4:6-7 tells us not to be anxious in anything but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. And for protection we rest in Psalm 91:1-2 that he who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty, and we can say Yahweh is our refuge and fortress.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we thank You for Your blood that covers and shields us. We ask for Your favor, protection and blessing over our dear one who is sick and overwhelmed. Lay Your healing hand upon this body, ease these colds and every lingering sickness, and restore health and strength according to Your mercy. We ask You to be a shield around them and their household, covering them with the precious blood of Jesus. In the midst of rescheduled appointments and weather related disruptions and all this chaos, we ask for Your clear guidance and direction. Order each step, open the right doors at the right time, and give wisdom for every decision that needs to be made. Lift this burden of feeling so overwhelmed and replace it with Your peace and rest. Strengthen them when they are weak, as You have promised in Isaiah 41:10 to not be afraid for You are with us and to not be dismayed for You are our God, that You will strengthen us and help us and uphold us with Your righteous right hand. Help them to rest well, to care for their body as Your temple, and to trust You with what they cannot control. We thank You that You are our healer, our protector, and our guide, and we trust all of this into Your loving hands. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your cry under this season of colds and weariness has been heard, and we bring it before the throne of grace with you. To be sick and overwhelmed, to see appointments put off and chaos pressing in on every side, is a trial that wearies both body and spirit, and we do not make light of it.
Yet we are reminded that our Lord Jesus Christ is the great Physician who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. There is not a disease upon the list of human ills which He cannot heal, and even the least thing about Christ is healing, for the leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. When He dwells with His people, pardon and healing are found together, for He who forgives sin also restores the soul and often the body according to His wise and loving will. We may have a house full of sickness and still have Christ within it, for whom the Lord loves He chastens, and His presence does not depart in the hour of affliction.
We pray for you now, that the precious blood of Christ, shed for sinners, may be your shield and covering, and that the Lord will lay His hand upon you in mercy. May He grant you healing where healing will most glorify Him, and strength to bear what must be borne with patience. May He give you guidance with His counsel, for He has promised to guide you and afterward to receive you to glory. In this time of confusion and rescheduled hopes, may He make your path plain, order your steps, and keep you from the haste which brings further mischief, leading you with unerring wisdom in every decision.
Cast this overwhelming burden upon Him who cares for you, and seek Him in His Word, for faith comes by hearing and healing often comes by the Word applied by the Holy Spirit. Rest in the Physician who never fails, and tell of His power when He has restored you, for only those who have been healed can truly praise His healing virtue.
May the Sun of Righteousness rise upon you with healing in His wings, and may His peace guard your heart until strength returns and order is restored. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your request and allowing us to pray with you in this season of sickness and overwhelm. We hear how wearying this has been with colds and illness, rescheduled appointments, and the feeling of chaos all around you.
We join you in asking the Lord for healing and strength. Scripture reminds us that God is compassionate toward our weakness and that He is our healer and our refuge. We pray that He would restore your health, give wisdom to any doctors and caregivers involved, and grant you rest and recovery in the days ahead. We also ask Him for clear guidance and direction as you navigate the appointments and responsibilities that have been disrupted, and for peace that steadies your heart when you feel overwhelmed.
