We join you in lifting up this need before the Lord and we thank you for inviting us to pray with you in Jesus' name.
We know how discouraging it is to feel under the weather, especially when there is an opportunity to gather with other believers. We pray for the Lord's healing hand upon you and upon all who are feeling unwell. We are reminded that Yahweh is our healer, as it is written, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3. And we cling to His promise, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17.
We also bring this event before the throne of grace. If it is the Lord's will for you to connect with these new believers, we pray He will make the way clear and give you the strength and health to do so. If He has other plans, we trust His wisdom and timing is perfect. We pray for His protection over you and over everyone involved, and for His blessings to rest upon this gathering for His glory. We remember the beauty of fellowship among believers, for it is written, How good and how pleasant it is for brothers to live together in unity, Psalm 133:1, and we are encouraged not to forsake our assembling together, Hebrews 10:25.
Let us pray together.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and we lift up our brother and sister who are not feeling well. Lord, You know their bodies and You know their hearts desire to fellowship and to serve You at this event. We ask for Your healing touch according to Your perfect will. Please restore strength, ease every symptom, and grant complete recovery. We pray, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. Grant them peace as they rest in You and trust in Your care.
Lord, if it is Your will for this connection with these new believers to happen, we ask that You open the doors and provide the energy, protection, and health needed to be there. Let Your will be done and let this event be a blessing and encouragement to all who attend. We ask that You guard them from further illness and from any harm, and that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and their thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:7. We ask that You bless this time of fellowship and use it to build up Your church.
We thank You, Father, that we can come boldly to You only through Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we have access to Your grace. We trust in Your goodness and Your mercy. We pray all these things in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, amen.
