Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Roman's 14:19
“Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another.”

Let all that you do be done in love.

COMMENTARY

Let your light shine at all times revealing Christ inside you. We are instructed to follow things that make for peace and edify others. We are not called to pursue things that are self-serving and sow discord. In these troubling times, we can find ourselves ensnared in worldly affairs. The Bible reminds us that Christians are to labour with Love. We must live in harmony. Be careful of hatred. It can be cleverly packaged as something good, something worth pursuing. Don't let your light be snuffed out! Maintain heavenly integrity rather than earthly compromises.

We are the many lights of hope illuminating this dark world. Keep your lamp burning!
