Shalom! Please continue to pray for me using these scripture references Colossians 1:9-15 KJV and Numbers 6:24-26 KJV. Also, intercede for me and ask the Lord Jesus Christ thru His Indwelling Holy Spirit to give me a spirit of obedience & to keep a repentant heart. And, pray in the Holy Spirit for me to put on the Armor of God (Ephesians 6: 10-13 KJV)& Plead the Shed Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ over my mind, soul, and spirit for me. Toda raba.

We join with you in prayer and thank you for sharing these scriptures with us, and we gladly continue to intercede for you as you have asked.

We pray Col 1:9-15 over you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power, according to the might of His glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy, giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light, who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins.

We also pray the Aaronic blessing over you from Num 6:24-26, Yahweh bless you, and keep you. Yahweh make His face to shine on you, and be gracious to you. Yahweh lift up His face toward you, and give you peace. We ask the Lord to cause His favor and shalom to rest upon you this week and always.

We intercede as you asked that the Lord Jesus Christ through His indwelling Holy Spirit would give you a spirit of obedience and keep in you a repentant heart. The Scripture says in Ezek 36:27, I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my ordinances, and do them. And in Psalm 51:17, The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, God, you will not despise. And in Psalm 51:10, Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me. We pray that He would keep your heart tender, quick to confess and turn from sin, and quick to obey His voice. We pray that you would walk in obedience not by your own strength but by the power of the Holy Spirit who dwells in you, for we are reminded in Acts 5:32 that God has given the Holy Spirit to those who obey Him, and in John 14:15, If you love me, keep my commandments.

We pray in the Holy Spirit that you would put on the whole armor of God as written in Eph 6:10-13, Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. We pray that you would daily be clothed with truth, righteousness, the preparation of the Good News of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, and that you would be strong in the Lord and stand firm against every scheme of the enemy.

We also plead the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ over your mind, soul, and spirit. We thank God for Eph 1:7, In Him we have our redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, and for Rev 12:11, They overcame him because of the Lamb's blood, and because of the word of their testimony. We ask that His blood would cover and cleanse your thoughts, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and keep your spirit blameless. We pray that no weapon formed against you would prosper and that you would walk in the freedom and victory that His sacrifice has secured.

Father, we lift our brother before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking that You would deepen his knowledge of You, keep him in Your peace, empower him to obey, preserve a humble and repentant heart within him, clothe him in Your armor, and cover him with the blood of Jesus. Keep him abiding in You and bearing much fruit for Your glory. We thank You that You hear us when we pray according to Your will. We trust You to answer and to keep him. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you so specifically. We hear your heart to walk closely with the Lord, to keep a soft and repentant heart before Him and to live in obedience, and we are honored to stand with you in that.

We are praying the passages you named over you, that you would be filled with wisdom and understanding to walk worthy of Him, and that His blessing, keeping and peace would rest on you. We are also asking as you asked, that the Holy Spirit would strengthen you each day to put on the armor God provides and that your mind, soul and spirit would remain covered by the shed blood of Jesus.

What encourages us is that desire for a truly repentant heart. That is more than just feeling sorry when we stumble, it is a change of mind that turns us to walk a new direction, and that kind of turning is something the Holy Spirit works in us over time. Spiritual growth is usually gradual, with highs and lows, not all at once. It is more like training than trying, small faithful steps in the Word, in prayer and in worship, depending on His Spirit rather than our own resolve.

One simple next step that helps many is to keep a short, steady time each day in Scripture and prayer, not long or pressured, just consistent, asking the Holy Spirit to lead that time and to show you the next faithful step to take.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. Give him a tender heart quick to turn to You, a spirit of obedience, and daily strength to walk with You. Guard his mind, soul and spirit under the blood of Jesus and clothe him with Your armor. Fill him with Your wisdom and keep him in Your peace. Amen.

How condescending is our God to stoop to bless His people, and to keep those whom He has redeemed.

You have asked for a spirit of obedience and a repentant heart, and we entreat the Lord Jesus Christ through His indwelling Holy Spirit to work both in you. True repentance is always the gift of God and the work of the Holy Spirit in the soul, a godly sorrow which is the constant attendant of saving faith. We pray that He would renew your heart, for the heart is the seat of our blindness and there lies the darkness which beclouds the whole mind, and to the heart the light must come. As you have heard, to know God is to have the heart renewed so that it admires the whole character of God and adores Him in His holiness. We pray that you may at once give Him your whole heart, for a heart that is halved is killed, and that your obedience may be the obedience of a child and not of a slave, the obedience of love and not of terror. Faith is the morning star of obedience, and the exactness of obedience is the essence of obedience. May the Spirit enable you to be prompt and thorough, to keep and to seek out all the commandments of the Lord your God, not from constraint but from a cheerful and willing mind that delights to do His will.

We pray also in the Holy Spirit that you may put on the whole armour of God according to Ephesians 6:10-13, that you may be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, able to stand against the wiles of the devil and to withstand in the evil day, having your loins girt about with truth and being guarded at every point by His provision. And we plead the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ over your mind and soul and spirit, for in Him we have redemption and by that blood we have peace with God and a plea before the throne of grace. Declare your ways unto Him alone, for He hears those who make a clean breast of their transgressions and He will teach you His statutes.

May the Lord who knows your heart visit you in grace, give you a new heart and a right spirit, keep you in the path of safety and happiness which is the path of obedience, and cause you to live in God and on God and with God until He brings you to see Him face to face. We ask all in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who alone is our salvation. Amen.

I pray for you according to Colossians 1 verses 9 to 15, that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, that you may walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, pleasing Him in all things, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God, strengthened with all power according to His glorious might for endurance and patience with joy, giving thanks to the Father who has made you fit to share in the inheritance of the saints in light, who has delivered you from the domain of darkness and transferred you to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom you have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

I also pray over you the blessing of Numbers 6 verses 24 to 26, that the Lord will bless you and keep you, that the Lord will make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you, that the Lord will lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace.

I intercede for you that the Lord Jesus Christ by His indwelling Holy Spirit will give you a willing spirit of obedience from the heart, not by compulsion but with a ready mind, and that He will keep in you a humble and contrite and repentant heart. As Scripture teaches, God has provided many ways for our healing through prayer, compunction, humility and turning from sin, and He hears the cry of the heart even when no words are spoken, as He heard Moses and Hannah and Abel. May He cleanse you from all defilement of flesh and spirit, for you are a temple of the living God, and help you to perfect holiness in the fear of God.

I pray in the Holy Spirit that you will put on the whole armor of God according to Ephesians 6 verses 10 to 13, so that you may stand against the schemes of the devil. Remember that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual powers, and the armor is not made of hides and steel but of truth and righteousness and faith and love of wisdom. May you put on the armor of light and stand firm, and may the glory of God surround you. I plead the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ over your mind and soul and spirit, trusting in His cross and resurrection alone for forgiveness and protection and life.

May the Lord grant you grace to sing and pray to Him with heedfulness in your heart in every place, to give thanks in all things, and to continue steadfast in faith. I will continue to pray for you that you will grow in obedience, remain repentant and lowly before Him, and know more deeply His keeping and His peace. Amen.
