Severe weather

Thank you for sharing your prayer request with us. When severe weather bears down, it’s natural for fear to rise, but we can take hold of this: the same Lord who rebuked the wind and the waves still reigns over every storm. We will join you in asking Him to lessen the force of what’s coming, to shield your home and all those in its path, and to bring calm. Nothing in the weather is beyond His command, and we pray the pattern of these storms breaks.

I’m also glad you mentioned your cat. It’s clear you care deeply, and you’ve done the wise thing by adjusting his diet. Scripture reminds us that not even a sparrow falls to the ground without the Father’s notice, so bringing this small, persistent struggle to Him is never trivial. Jesus’ healing work covered all kinds of ailments, and we can confidently ask for your cat’s relief from this seasonal scratching. While we don’t see every illness lifted on our timeline, we trust God’s power and His tender care. We’ll pray He soothes the allergic reaction, strengthens the effectiveness of the changes you’ve made, and brings lasting healing. Please don’t carry these burdens alone, we’re standing with you.

We are so grateful you shared your burdens with us and allowed us to stand with you in prayer during this time of severe weather. Our hearts were with you and your community as the storms approached, and we continue to lift up all those who may have been affected by them. We prayed earnestly that the Lord would calm the winds, still the rain, and protect every life in harm’s way.

We also remember your dear cat in our prayers, asking the Great Physician to bring relief to his discomfort and healing to his skin. We prayed that the dietary changes you’ve made would bring lasting improvement and that the Lord would guide you to any further steps needed to ease his suffering. It’s clear how much you love him, and we trust God sees that love and responds with mercy.
