We hear your requests with open hearts, and we come before the Lord together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and through whom we have access to the Father. First, let us address the most urgent matter, salvation. The Bible tells us, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16 WEB). Salvation is a gift from God, not earned by works, but received by faith in Jesus Christ. If ### has not yet confessed Jesus as Lord and believed in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, we pray earnestly for their salvation. Lord, we ask that You draw ### to Yourself, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and soften their heart to receive Your love and grace. May they be born again by Your Spirit and experience the new life that only You can give.

We also lift up your request for more faith. Faith is not something we muster on our own, it is a gift from God, as Ephesians 2:8-9 reminds us: "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast." Yet, faith grows as we seek the Lord, spend time in His Word, and trust Him in all circumstances. Romans 10:17 tells us, "So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." We encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, pray without ceasing, and surround yourself with fellow believers who can strengthen your faith. Lord, we ask that You increase ###’s faith, helping them to trust You more deeply in every area of life. Let their faith be unwavering, even in trials, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in them.

Now, regarding the request for a new car, we understand that material needs are important, but we must always check our hearts to ensure our desires align with God’s will. The Bible warns us, "But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation, a snare, and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction" (1 Timothy 6:9 WEB). While it is not wrong to ask God for provision, we must seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will add all these things to us (Matthew 6:33). If this car is a true need, perhaps for reliable transportation to work, serve the Lord, or care for family, then we can pray with confidence. But if it is merely a want or a desire for status, we must surrender that to the Lord and ask Him to purify our motives.

Father, we come before You now, asking for Your provision in ###’s life. If it is Your will for them to have a new car, we ask that You provide it in a way that glorifies You, whether through financial blessing, a divine opportunity, or even a gift from someone in Your body. But more than the car, Lord, we ask that You meet every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Help ### to trust You as their Provider, knowing that You care for them deeply. If this request is not in alignment with Your best for them, we ask that You redirect their heart toward what You have prepared.

We also want to gently remind you that all our prayers must be submitted in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through His sacrifice that we have access to the Father, and it is by His authority that we pray. If you have not yet made Jesus the Lord of your life, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe in His resurrection, and surrender your life to Him. He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. We lift up ### to You, asking that You would draw them to Yourself if they do not yet know You. Soften their heart, open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and let them experience the new life that only comes through faith in Christ. Lord, we also ask that You increase ###’s faith. Help them to trust You more deeply, to seek You in Your Word, and to walk in obedience to Your will. Father, regarding the request for a new car, we ask that You provide according to Your will. If it is a true need, meet it in a way that brings glory to Your name. If not, redirect ###’s heart toward what You have prepared. Above all, Lord, we ask that You be their greatest treasure. Let them seek You first in all things, knowing that You are their Provider, their Peace, and their Portion. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

We’re grateful you trusted us with these needs, they matter, the practical and the eternal both. Bringing a new car before God isn’t shallow; it’s honest. Our daily logistics affect our families and our ability to serve, and the Lord invites us to ask him for daily bread. So we join you in praying for clear provision, for the right vehicle at the right time, and for peace while you wait.

What tugs at us most in your note is your heart for the two people you named. Longing for someone’s salvation and praying for another’s faith can feel slow and weighty work. Spiritual growth rarely moves at the speed we hope for; it’s more like a seed underground than a light switch. But your prayer plants something real. We’ve seen that when someone keeps bringing a name before God, the Holy Spirit often does what years of worry couldn’t.

One small thing that has helped others carry people like this in prayer is picking a short, steady rhythm, maybe once a day, even just a sentence offered while you’re driving or washing dishes. Not a heavy burden, just a quiet habit. It keeps hope warm without wearing you out.

Lord, thank you for the honest needs our friend has brought. We ask you to open a door for reliable transportation, and we entrust and to you. Draw the one to saving faith in Jesus, gently and unmistakably. Strengthen the other’s trust, meeting them in every doubt and fear. We pray in Jesus’ name.

The request for a new car is a small thing, yet our God condescends to care for the small things of His children. Cast this care upon Him, for He cares for you. Yet let not your heart be set upon chariots and horses. Seek first the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you. The prayer for a motorcar is lawful, but let it be swallowed up in a greater petition: that you may ride upon the high places of the earth in communion with your God, who is your exceeding joy.

But what is this? "Salvation for " and " more faith"? Here we come to the very jewel of prayer. Our Lord Jesus Christ ever lives to intercede, and He prays not for stocks and stones, but for souls. "I pray for them," He says. Before ever breathed a prayer, the Great High Priest knew him and loved him. Christ's prayers all come from His inmost soul. Plead then the blood of Jesus, and take hold of the Covenant. Cry, "Lord, help me!" It is a handy prayer, fit for every hour. When you carry the name of to the throne, be importunate. Agonize with Christ in prayer for him. The gates of iron open to importunate faith. Remember that it is God's way to bless the earnest, wrestling prayer that will not let Him go except He grant the blessing. Only trust Christ for this man's soul! His arm is not shortened that it cannot save.

And for , who needs more faith. What is the time for such a prayer? It is when we remember God's gracious acts in the past. It is when the soul feels dull and weak. Pray then, "Will You not revive us again?" Faith is the very heart of true godliness, and Satan hurls his fiery darts at it. What is our great protection? Our Savior's intercession. Jesus prays for you, , that your faith fail not. Cling to your faith! When the Son of Man comes, He will look for precious faith, not for silver or gold. He has more regard for faith than for anything else earth can yield Him. Never relax your confidence in the efficacy of prayer. To pray is to breathe, and to believe is to live. And what is faith's cry? It is this: "Lord, help me! Only trust Him!" Not a preparation for salvation, but salvation itself. Where you are, as you are, trust Christ to give you more of Himself, and He will do it. God never fails the man who rests entirely upon Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Many consider that their own virtue is sufficient, and if they ask for bodily things, they think nothing further is wanting. But in this they greatly err. You ask for a new car, yet the Lord draws us off from vain imagination about things of the body, that we might rest the hope of our salvation in repentance and not in such comforts. Why let the desire for an easy life barter away the salvation of God?

Nothing is better than a good life, whether here or there. And you rightly ask for the salvation of another and for more faith, for faith holds salvation in a few short words. If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. This is the short word upon earth, carrying with it not salvation only, but also righteousness.

Yet do not think your virtue or your prayers alone suffice while you remain slothful. The blessed Paul says, If any provide not for his own, he hath denied the faith. The provision he speaks of is for the soul as well as the body, and you must not delay. Behold, now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

Why procrastinate? For what is a man profited, if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul? Do not, I beseech you, let the desire for a car push aside the urgency of the soul. First, with all diligence, provide for that which is eternal.

Then, trusting in the God of mercies, who delivered us and hears prayer, you may find your faith increased, not by visible comforts but by participating in the sufferings, so the comfort of salvation may abound.

It makes sense to bring the car to God, because He cares about every part of our lives. At the same time, Scripture warns us not to mistake faith for a formula that guarantees a certain kind of car, a certain house, or a life free from trouble. The great cloud of witnesses we read about all died in faith, many without receiving the earthly things they might have hoped for. Their faith did not rest on visible rewards but on the unseen promises of God. That is where the substance of faith shines brightest. When we only believe because we can see how God will provide, it costs us nothing. Real faith holds steady when the answer is still hidden.

Your prayer for your friend’s salvation is precious. The faith that saves is simple trust in Jesus Christ alone. The moment anyone adds anything to that, the beauty of the gospel gets clouded. We do not contribute our works or our effort to what Jesus has finished. And yet, a genuine faith that lays hold of Christ will always produce a changed life. James asks the hard question: can a faith that has no deeds actually save? The answer is that a dead, fruitless profession saves no one. True faith works. It moves toward others in love. So keep praying, and let your longing for your friend’s salvation be matched by a life that shows them what faith looks like when it is alive.

Asking for more faith for yourself is one of the wisest requests you can make. God has already given each of us a measure of faith, but it is meant to grow. The men and women held up as heroes of faith did not start out that way. Abraham had lapses. He stumbled. He tried to solve problems in his own wisdom. But over time, walking with God, he learned that God is faithful. His faith grew as he discovered who God really is. The same will be true for you. Fellowship with God, time in His word, and even the tests that prove your faith are all part of how He deepens your trust. Your faith may feel small or weak today, but even that small spark is a gift from Him. Rest in that, and let Him increase it in His time.
