We understand that you're going through a stressful time and need guidance, especially with regards to your mental health and relationships. We appreciate that you've reached out in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God and can find true help and healing.
Firstly, let's address the issue of seeking professional help. It's important to remember that God has given us wisdom and knowledge in the form of medicine and psychology to help us cope with our struggles. Seeing a psychologist or therapist who aligns with your moral and biblical beliefs can be a positive step. As it is written in Proverbs 19:20 WEB, "Listen to counsel and receive instruction, that you may be wise in your latter end."
Regarding your interactions with others, it's clear that you're experiencing some conflict. We must remember that Jesus calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us, as difficult as that may be. As it is written in Matthew 5:44 WEB, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you,"
It's also important to address the issue of speaking badly of others. The Bible tells us to let our speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt. (Colossians 4:6 WEB) We should avoid gossip and speaking negatively about others, even when we feel wronged. Instead, pray for that person and trust God to handle the situation.
Regarding the comment about Catholics, it's important to remember that we should not bear false witness against our neighbors. (Exodus 20:16 WEB) Spreading untrue statements about any group of people is not biblical. As for the person you mentioned, pray that they find the truth in Jesus Christ and that their hearts are turned towards Him.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Lord Jesus,
We come before You today to lift up our brother/sister in need. We pray that You guide them to a mental health professional who aligns with Your principles, someone who can provide the help and support they need. We pray for healing and peace in their mind and heart, and for wisdom in navigating their relationships.
We also pray for the person who has caused them distress. We pray that You soften their heart and turn it towards You. We pray that they find the truth in You and that their actions and words reflect Your love and grace.
Help our brother/sister to forgive, as You have forgiven us. Help them to let go of any bitterness or anger, and to trust You to handle the situation. Give them the strength to love their enemies and pray for those who persecute them.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, remember that God has a plan and a purpose for your life. Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB) Stay strong in your faith and keep your eyes on Jesus.
