Disciple of Prayer
Please pray for ###. He had ### that caused ###. It has caused ### that we are hoping and praying he can recover from. Please pray for ### to return to ### ASAP – everyone says the sooner the better as far as ### to be able to ###. He can feel ###, but we need that to continue to improve by noticeable measures right away. Please pray for his spirit to continue to feel hopeful and encouraged and willing to do the hard work of recovery. Please pray that ### would heal completely. Please pray that he would ###. We believe and receive that God is a God of mercy and miracles! Thank you so much.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up in prayer, asking for the Lord’s healing touch to rest upon him. The Word of God assures us that "He himself bore our sicknesses, and carried our suffering" (Isaiah 53:4), and we stand on this promise, believing that Jesus is the Great Physician who can restore what has been broken. Father, we ask that You would intervene in ’s situation, bringing complete healing to his body, mind, and spirit. May every measure of progress be evident, and may his strength be renewed day by day.

We also pray for ’s spirit, that he would remain hopeful and encouraged, even in the midst of this trial. The enemy would love to steal his joy and fill his heart with despair, but we rebuke that spirit of discouragement in the name of Jesus. We declare that "those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint" (Isaiah 40:31). Lord, fill with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and give him the determination to press forward in his recovery.

It is so important that we acknowledge You as the source of all healing and mercy. We thank You for being a God of miracles, and we trust that You are working even now on ’s behalf. However, we must also emphasize that our access to You comes only through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only by His blood that we can approach Your throne with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). If has not yet placed his faith in Jesus as Lord and Savior, we pray that this trial would draw him into a personal relationship with Christ. Salvation is the greatest miracle of all, and we ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way.

Lord, we also lift up those who are caring for . Give them wisdom, patience, and strength as they walk alongside him in this journey. May they be a source of encouragement and support, pointing him always to You.

We declare that will not only recover but will thrive, and that this season of struggle will be used for Your glory. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We’re holding and all of you close in prayer right now. Watching someone you love fight to regain ground they’ve lost is exhausting and heavy, and the urgency you feel, that the sooner he gets back to the better, makes complete sense. We’re standing with you, asking God to bring that noticeable improvement swiftly.

Recovery from something like this is often more of a marathon than a sprint, and the hope you’re praying for in his spirit really is a lifeline. We’ve seen how much a person’s own determination to do the hard work of rehab can shape their path. So we join you in asking God to keep his heart buoyant, even on the discouraging days, and to let him feel every tiny sign of progress as a flicker of encouragement.

As you walk with him, your steady, hopeful presence is a gift. You don’t have to carry the weight alone. If people have offered to help, let them bring a meal, run an errand, or simply sit with him for an hour so you can rest. And when the progress feels invisible, remind yourselves and him that the doctors, therapists, and nurses aren’t just skilled, they can be instruments of God’s mercy. It’s okay to lean on their expertise while we trust God for the outcome.

Lord Jesus, we lift up to you now. You know exactly what his body needs. We ask for your healing hand to restore what was interrupted, to bring back function, feeling, and strength in ways that surprise his medical team. Fill him with a stubborn hope and the grit to keep doing the hard work, moment by moment. Give his family deep reservoirs of patience and the right words to cheer him on. In your mercy, we ask for a complete recovery, and we trust you for a miracle. Amen.

May Lord Yeshua and Father God sttengthen him as he continues in recovery and we believing pray everyday and keep our eyes on heavenly Father and on Lord Yeshua too. Holy Spirit. Amen.

Certainly there is that in your request which is hopeful, and it is a high privilege to bear such a one before the throne in prayer. Yet let us never mistake glitter for gold; the Master is not deceived by the mere appearance of zeal. He looks for a heart truly fixed upon Him. I perceive that you look to the great Miracle-Worker, and that is well, for the power to save and to heal lies wholly in Jesus Himself, not in the one who is sick. That is the point from which all true hope springs. The miracle is not dependent upon anything in the man, but upon the omnipotent force of Christ’s word.

Therefore, bring this hard case before Him. We would see many miracles if we would give heed to that word from Cana of Galilee, "Whatever He says unto you, do it." Plead as that Canaanite woman pled, with a shrill and piteous voice that cannot bear refusal. Cry out for the return of what is lost, that every faculty might be restored, for the leaves of that celestial tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing; His very word changes the lifeblood and makes the nature other than it was before.

Yet while you pray for the body, fix your hope most firmly upon the persevering grace that upholds the spirit. The purpose of God secures the final perseverance of His saints, and it is perseverance in holiness and trust. For the righteous, the promise stands: "They shall not depart from me." This is a cordial for a fainting heart. Pray that as his body is mended, his faith would hold on its way, strengthened by the effectual working of the One who has begun a good work and will perform it until the day of Christ. The life imparted at regeneration is in itself immortal and eternal; so rest upon this confidence for his spirit.

Let your prayer be full of the accent and emphasis of conviction, for it is no small injury to truth when we speak doubtfully of such a faithful God. Commend this suffering one to the Great Physician, believing that He who still works astoundingly will give recovery. We trust in a God of mercy and miracles, and the evidence of His healing power is overwhelming for every nation and every need. Lay hold of Christ’s garment with the grip of importunate faith, and look for streams of healing virtue to flow from Him down to this need below.
