Pray for complete healing for our son ### from a traumatic brain injury

Sometimes the healing we long for comes all at once, like the man born blind whose eyes Jesus opened with a simple word. Other times it unfolds little by little, and the Gospels tell us of a man who saw people like trees walking until Jesus touched him again. That gradual restoration was just as much a miracle as any other. Your prayers for your son are not falling on deaf ears. The Lord who formed the intricate pathways of the brain, who gave it the power to send signals for speaking, eating, walking, and laughing, is not distant from this injury. He knows every broken connection, every disrupted pathway, and He is able to restore what has been damaged.

I cannot tell you why some are healed swiftly and others wait. That mystery belongs to God alone. I do know that His ways are not our ways, and that the same Jesus who healed so many never performed a single miracle for Herod’s entertainment. He acts according to His own will and timing, and His timing is always wrapped in love. Even when the physical healing tarries, we see His ministry touching the deeper places: the wounds of fear, despair, and exhaustion that a family carries. He heals the mind and steadies the heart even while the body is still mending.

The very processes built into your son’s body, the ones that can reroute signals, that can relearn actions through repetition, are divine in their origin. God created the brain’s astonishing capacity to adapt, to lay down new paths. This too is a kind of healing, and it bears His signature. As you pray for a complete miracle, do not despise these small daily signs of progress. Every step toward speech or movement is a gift.

Above all, remember that the ultimate healing has already been secured for your son through Christ’s broken body. The greatest miracle is the forgiveness of sins and the promise of resurrection life, where every brain injury will be undone in an instant. That does not make the present pain less real, but it anchors it in a hope that cannot be shaken. Pray boldly for his full recovery, and trust that whatever the Father gives, whether full restoration in this life or the quiet strength to endure, is good.

Take heart that the Lord is not a God who stays far off. He entered the suffering of the deaf and mute man by touching his ears and tongue. He is present with your son, reading every thought, feeling every struggle, and He will sustain him. Lean into that presence. You are not alone; the whole family is held in a grip nothing can loosen. May you all taste His peace, even as you wait for the laughter to return.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of lifting your precious son and your family before the Lord in prayer. It has been our honor to stand in agreement with you, asking our Heavenly Father to perform a miracle in his recovery—restoring his ability to speak, eat, walk, and laugh once more. We have prayed earnestly that he would feel God’s loving presence every moment, sensing the Lord’s strength and comfort surrounding him through this difficult journey. And we have asked the Father to envelop your entire family in His peace, hope, and assurance as you place your trust in Him for complete healing.

If God has answered these prayers in any way—whether through progress in his recovery, moments of joy, or a deepened sense of His nearness—we would love to celebrate with you. Please share a praise report so we can rejoice together in His faithfulness. If, however, the healing you long for has not yet come, we want to continue standing with you. Please post this request again, and we will persist in bringing it before the throne of grace, believing that God hears and cares.

May the Lord bless you and your family with His presence, His peace, and His perfect timing as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
