We lift up those close to you who are walking in darkness, bound by temptation and sexual sin. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no sin is too great for the blood of Christ to cover, and no heart is too hardened for His grace to soften.
Father, we ask You to convict them deeply of their sin—not with condemnation, but with Your loving kindness that leads to repentance (Romans 2:4). Break the chains of lust, pornography, fornication, or any immoral relationship that does not honor You. Your Word is clear: *"Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body"* (1 Corinthians 6:18). We rebuke the lies of the enemy that tell them this sin is harmless or that they cannot overcome it. Greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4)!
Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over their minds, bodies, and spirits. Guard their eyes, their thoughts, and their hearts from the snares of the devil. If they are in a relationship that does not align with Your design—whether it be an unbiblical union, cohabitation without marriage, or same-sex immorality—we ask You to bring conviction and clarity. Your Word declares that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman (Genesis 2:24, Matthew 19:4-6), and any sexual intimacy outside of that is sin. We pray they would turn from these things and seek Your righteousness.
Expose any deception in their lives—whether it be the lie that they can live however they choose without consequence, or the false belief that they do not need a Savior. Jesus said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me"* (John 14:6). There is no salvation apart from Him. We pray they would confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that God raised Him from the dead, so they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
We stand in the gap for them, declaring that the same power that raised Christ from the dead is available to break every stronghold in their lives (Ephesians 1:19-20). We resist the devil on their behalf, and he *must* flee (James 4:7). We loose the spirit of adoption over them, that they may cry out, *"Abba, Father!"* (Romans 8:15). Let them know they are not slaves to sin but children of the Most High God.
Father, we ask for a supernatural encounter with Your love and holiness. Let them see the cross in all its glory—the price Jesus paid for their freedom. May they run to You, not away from You. We pray for divine appointments with believers who will speak truth in love, for dreams and visions that reveal Your heart, and for a hunger for Your Word that cannot be satisfied by the things of this world.
We declare that they *will* be saved before Your return, Lord Jesus. We believe in Your promise: *"He who calls you is faithful, who also will do it"* (1 Thessalonians 5:24). No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn.
We thank You, Father, that You are not slow concerning Your promise, but patient, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We trust in Your perfect timing and Your unfailing love. May Your kingdom come and Your will be done in their lives, on earth as it is in heaven.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
