Beloved of All
Word Spreads Fast, is Received 2 Thes 3:1-3, Spoken Prayed Written Sang Eph 5:19. Keep Close Eye on Our Life & Teaching: Save Self, Others 1 Tim 4:16

🙏 Father, thank You that Your Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path, Ps 119:105. We ask the goal of our instruction would be obtained in a greater fullness: LOVE pouring out of a Cleansed Heart, a good conscience and a sincere faith, 1 Tim 1:5. We ask for the Power of the Holy Spirit, Lk 24:48-49, the Power when The Holy Spirit came upon us like in Acts 1:8, (There are NOT two Holy Spirit's, but the SAME Spirit that raised Christ from the dead is at work in our mortal bodies at present, giving us LIFE, to pay attention to ourselves and our teaching, 1 Tim 4:16, walk worthy, Col 1:10, 2 Thes 1:11. We ask You testify through us granting faith in Christ for Eternal Life, Rom 1:16-17, Rom 10:17, repentance from works that lead to death and live in light of a Coming Day of Judgement, Heb 6:1-2. Give us what to say and how to say it, Jn 12:49, resulting in increased fellowship, 1 Jn 1:3, and conversions of the soul, Ps 19:7. May it be used to equip the church, promote unity of the faith and knowledge of The Son of God, Eph 4:12-13.

🙇🏻 "Finally, brothers and sisters, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it has with you, 2 and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked people; for not all have faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one," 2 Thes 3:1-2,3. Father, we ask Your Word gets the respect and priority it deserves in our lives, in the church and the world -- Deut 8:3, Job 23:12, Isa 55:2, Ps 119:103, Matt 4:4, Rev 2:17, Rev 19:13. May it be made effectual in its ministry to ourselves, our hearers & readers, 1 Tim 4:16, and may it cover much ground to an end of international discipleship, i.e. Baptism & Teaching Obedience to The Sum of Your Word, Matt 28:19,20 -- c.f. Rom 1:5, Rom 16:26.

🧎🏻We ask You confirm the Word with fruit of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, gifts, 1 Cor 12:4-5,6-7,8-9,10, authority over demons, Luke 11:20, Luke 10:17-18,19 -- and rejoicing about the reality of true and solid conversions that persevere until the end, names written in Heaven, Luke 10:20, in the Lamb's Book of Life, Dan 12:1, Mal 3:16-17, Rev 21:7. We pray for living epistles known and read by all men, 2 Cor 3:2-3. May our joy be derived from the Biblically prescribed method of soul-winning, Ps 51:12-13, Ps 126:6, and sharing in the joy of heaven, Luke 15:7, the application of the wisdom freely received, Prov 11:30, because You are The Teacher, and The Holy Spirit our Comforter-Advocate-Helper takes what is Yours and teaches us all things, and even reminds us what You've said, Jn 14:26. Tell us what is yet to come Jn 16:13 and that those who are wise win souls, Prov 11:30.

🙇🏻 We pursue love, earnestly desire spiritual gifts, and respect the emphasis You placed on prophecy, 1 Cor 14:1 -- may it edify, comfort, exhort, 1 Cor 14:3. Put aside other notions except that of which prophecy is: "The Testimony of Jesus is The Holy Spirit of Prophecy," Rev 19:10, that it is the Sword of The Spirit, The Word of God, Heb 4:12, the Spirit of Our Father speaking through us, Matt 10:20, The Holy Spirit, Mk 13:11, Lk 12:12, The Advocate, Comforter and Helper, John 14:26. May we find joy in knowing others will fellowship with us, The Father, The Son, 1 Jn 1:3-4, The Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, and each other, 1 Jn 1:7, from the True Gospel proclaimed by Christ Our Savior and Lord, committed to His Apostles, Matt 28:18-20, Lk 24:46-47, Acts 1:8, Tit 1:4, Heb 2:3-4, Jude 1:3. Thank You, Phil 4:6-7, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20, Rev 3:14.

We come together in unity, lifting up this heartfelt prayer for the rapid spread of God’s Word and its powerful work in our lives and the world. Your request resonates deeply with our shared desire to see the Gospel proclaimed, received, and glorified, just as the Apostle Paul urged the Thessalonians: "Finally, brothers and sisters, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it did with you" (2 Thessalonians 3:1 WEB). We stand with you in agreement, asking the Lord to establish and guard His people from the evil one, for He is faithful (2 Thessalonians 3:3).

Father, we thank You for Your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). It is living, active, and sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12), capable of piercing hearts and transforming lives. We ask that You would ignite within us a holy fire to proclaim Your truth, spoken, prayed, written, and sung (Ephesians 5:19), so that love may pour out from cleansed hearts, good consciences, and sincere faith (1 Timothy 1:5). Let our lives and teaching be a testimony that saves both ourselves and those who hear us (1 Timothy 4:16).

We pray for the power of the Holy Spirit to rest upon us, just as You promised in Acts 1:8, so that we may be Your witnesses to the ends of the earth. The same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead dwells in us, giving life to our mortal bodies (Romans 8:11). May we walk worthy of our calling (Colossians 1:10), testifying to the truth of the Gospel, which is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes (Romans 1:16). Let faith come by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17), so that souls may be converted (Psalm 19:7) and names written in the Lamb’s Book of Life (Revelation 21:27).

Lord, grant us wisdom and boldness to speak Your Word with clarity and authority, knowing that it is not we who speak, but the Spirit of our Father speaking through us (Matthew 10:20). May our words equip the saints for the work of ministry, building up the body of Christ until we all reach unity in the faith and knowledge of the Son of God (Ephesians 4:12-13). Let the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, be evident in our lives (Galatians 5:22-23), and may the gifts of the Spirit operate freely for the common good (1 Corinthians 12:4-11).

We earnestly desire spiritual gifts, especially prophecy, which edifies, comforts, and exhorts the church (1 Corinthians 14:1, 3). Let the testimony of Jesus, the Holy Spirit of prophecy, be our focus (Revelation 19:10), for Your Word does not return void but accomplishes what You purpose (Isaiah 55:11). May we be living epistles, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2-3), so that the world may see Christ in us.

Father, we ask that You would deliver us from unreasonable and wicked people who oppose the Gospel (2 Thessalonians 3:2). Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let Your peace rule in our fellowship (Colossians 3:15). May our joy come from seeing souls won for Your kingdom (Psalm 126:6) and sharing in the joy of heaven over one sinner who repents (Luke 15:7). Teach us, Holy Spirit, for You guide us into all truth (John 16:13), and let us walk in the wisdom that wins souls (Proverbs 11:30).

We commit ourselves to pursuing love, desiring spiritual gifts, and respecting the authority of Your Word. Let the Gospel we proclaim be the true Gospel of Jesus Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection for our salvation (1 Corinthians 15:3-4), so that all who believe may have eternal life (John 3:16). May our lives reflect the obedience of faith (Romans 1:5), and may we make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all that Christ commanded (Matthew 28:19-20).

Lord, we ask that Your Word would be honored and prioritized in our lives, in the church, and in the world. May it be our delight (Psalm 119:103), our sustenance (Matthew 4:4), and our weapon against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:17). Let it spread rapidly, cover much ground, and bear fruit that remains (John 15:16). Confirm Your Word with signs, wonders, and the power of the Holy Spirit, so that many may come to faith and persevere until the end.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the Author and Perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), through whom we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). May Your promises be fulfilled in us, for all the promises of God find their "Yes" in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). To You be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

We are moved by the depth of longing woven through your prayer. You are asking for nothing less than what the Lord Himself delights to give, His Word running swiftly, lives transformed, and the Spirit’s power resting on ordinary faithfulness. It’s a brave and beautiful thing to pray this way, and we are glad to stand with you in it right now, not by piling on more words, but by reminding you of something you already know: the burden you carry is itself a gift from the One who will complete what He has started.

The very passage you quoted, “the Lord is faithful; He will establish you and guard you from the evil one”, is already an answer. You are not holding yourself and your hearers together by sheer diligence. The watching, the teaching, the longing for holiness, these grow best in the soil of daily, steady dependence, not white‑knuckle effort. So we gently encourage you: keep sowing, but also let yourself rest in the quiet confidence that Christ is building His church. The fruit will come in His time.

Perhaps one practical way to steady your soul in this season is to invite two or three trusted friends to pray these same Scriptures with you on a regular rhythm, even once a week. Shared intercession often refreshes our own hearts and sharpens our sense of God’s presence in the work. As you do, remember that the Spirit’s power is not only for public witness but also for the hidden, ordinary moments of prayer, study, and loving the people right in front of you.

Father, thank You for the holy ache You have placed in this heart. Keep this person aflame without burning out. Let Your Word speed ahead and be honored in every conversation, every prayer, every song. Guard them from the evil one, and write their own life as a letter others can read and believe. We ask for many souls to turn to You and for a joy that does not depend on visible results. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The prayers you have lifted up are in full harmony with the mind of the Spirit and the apostolic desire that the Word of the Lord might have free course and be glorified. It is a blessed ambition to yearn for the swift and unhindered flight of the gospel, for it is no mere word of man that we scatter, but the living seed of the Almighty. The Word itself is the Sword of the Spirit; it carries within its own being the energy of the Christ whom it reveals, and it partakes in all the attributes of the Incarnate Word. To pray for its spread is to pray that the very life of God would run through the streets of the world.

Yet let us remember that this Word must first be a burden to the messenger before it can become a blessing to the hearer. The true servant of God dares not sport with his ministry or play with his message. The Word of the Lord, when it truly comes upon a man, is as fire in his bones, consuming him; it presses him into service and he cannot escape the holy constraint. When a preacher quakes under the weight of the divine utterance, then the people will begin to tremble also, and in that holy trembling there is a work of grace. The Lord looks to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and that trembleth at His Word.

Your plea for deliverance from unreasonable and wicked men is most needful, for the opposition we face is not merely the stubbornness of human opinion but is rooted in that old darkness from which we ourselves have been delivered. Every man by nature is an enemy of God, a child of darkness, until the Spirit moves upon the chaos of his soul. The darkness did not hinder the Spirit at the first creation, and the deep depravity of our nature does not prevent Him from creating souls anew in Christ Jesus. Where we look for justification, there must we also look for sanctification; the same hand that delivers from the guilt of sin must also break the power of sin. Let us therefore look entirely away from the cistern of our own failing strength to the fountain of omnipotence.

As you keep close eye upon your life and teaching, remember that you are a living epistle known and read of all men. Every day you issue a new volume from the press of life, and it must be brought to the great Critic, the Word of God, for judgment. Hide the gospel in your heart by all means, but hide it not from your heart, lest you sin against your own soul. Give the Word free admittance into your spirits, carrying on a free trade in the treasures of the gospel without laying any embargo upon any form of the truth. It is a terrible thing to accept half the counsel of God and reject the rest.

Let your speech therefore be a sounding out of what you have tasted and handled. When the Word of God has been to you life from the dead, deliverance out of bondage, strength for your weakness, and satisfaction for your heart’s deep hunger, you cannot help but sound it abroad. That which effectually worketh in you, you must also confess before men. Let it not be concealed, for to keep back any of the counsel of God is a sore evil, whether we veil the threatening or soften the command.

And do not despair of any hearer, however far off they may seem. No race of men has ever been discovered that has sunk too low for the Spirit of God to work upon them and to save them. The mighty God, even the Lord, has spoken, and when the Word goes forth, the Spirit of God accompanies it with saving power. Souls that are now in the valley of dry bones, dead and scattered, shall be made to live and stand upon their feet, an exceeding great army. This is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith, and it is God who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Keep the Word of God as your great reward and your constant warning. A hint from the Word should set you on your watch against evil; ring the alarm bell in your ears and compel you to flee from the wrath to come. Study it earnestly, for Bible-reading people seldom go off to modern theology. Those who feed upon the Word enjoy it too much to give it up for the husks that the swine do eat. The promise is sweet, the precept is pure, and the doctrine is as a lamp unto the feet, guiding the pilgrim through every step of the narrow way until the day dawns and the shadows flee away.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have woven together a garland of Scripture, a prayer that reveals a soul aflame with desire for the advance of the Gospel. This is no small thing, for the very fact that you long to see the Word run and be glorified is a mark of the Spirit’s work within you. Yet, since you ask for instruction as much as for blessing, let us consider what you seek, that your lamp may burn brighter and not be quenched.

You rightly honor the Word as a lamp, but observe its nature more fully. It is not a simple light; it is a living, piercing force. The Apostle says it is sharper than any two-edged sword, laying bare the thoughts and intentions of the heart. When you pray for the Word to spread rapidly, do not imagine a gentle whisper. It comes to divide, to sever soul from spirit, to perform surgery on the hidden tumors of our sin. You ask that the goal of your instruction be love from a cleansed heart. This is the precise surgery that Word performs. It sanctifies through the truth, which is nothing less than right doctrine concerning God. You cannot have the cleansing fire without the sword that cuts away the infection. Pray, then, not for a Word that merely soothes, but for a Word that slays the old man, for only from that death does a sincere faith and a good conscience pour forth genuine love.

You plead for the power of the Holy Spirit, and this is the very heart of the matter. You have rightly cited that there are not two Spirits, but one, the same who raised Christ now making alive our mortal bodies. This is the truth, but take great care you do not in practice deny what you confess in Scripture. How is this Spirit quenched? By despising His work. When the fire of the Spirit falls upon the untilled land of a human soul, it comes to burn up the thorns of wicked desires. It is a fire, and a fire burns. When you ask for the power to pay attention to your life and teaching, you are asking for this refining blaze. A man cannot keep a close eye on himself and still make provisions for the lusts of the flesh. To be filled with the Spirit is to wage war on the belly, the eyes, and the pride of life, allowing the divine fire to blacken those roots so that the good seed may grow into a harvest of temperance. A young man who is sober is a miracle, a calm in the midst of waves; this is the very power of the Spirit for which you pray. If you would not quench it, you must not smother it by choking your soul on the excesses of this world, which make you a leaking wineskin unable to hold the new wine of grace.

Your request that the Word be confirmed with fruit and that you become a living epistle is a godly ambition, but see clearly the source. You ask for the Biblical method of soul-winning and the joy of heaven. Look at the apostles: they were sent forth by the Holy Ghost, and they preached. They did not calculate the soil; they cast the seed. The results were not theirs but God’s. Paul himself declares he would not dare to speak of anything Christ had not wrought through him. The signs, the wonders, the obedience of the nations, were all the work of the Spirit, that no flesh might boast. Therefore, persist in your prayer for conversions that endure, for names written in heaven, but let your joy be rooted not in the number of your successes but in the fidelity of your labor. The true workman presents himself to God approved, one who has not perverted the right ways of the Lord, even when a sorcerer stands in opposition.

So let your prayer be answered in this way: As you ask for the Word to have priority, let it first have absolute priority over the hidden chambers of your own heart, piercing you before it pierces others. As you ask for the Spirit’s power to testify, do not despise that power when it comes as a fire to purge your inward parts. The lamp of the Spirit is kindled in a cleansed vessel. When you have attended to this, your life itself becomes a herald, a message known and read by all, and the Word you speak will not return void, because it is borne on the breath of a living sacrifice.

Your prayer carries the very heartbeat of the book of Acts. The cry for the word to spread rapidly and be honored, the hunger for the Spirit’s power, this is what Jesus promised before He ascended. He did not leave us with a mere doctrine; He gave us the gift of the Father, the Holy Spirit, so that rivers of living water would flow from our innermost being. That is the baptism of the Spirit, not a trickle but an overflow, a torrent that reaches the dry ground around us.

I have watched the Spirit move in simple gatherings where believers linger in prayer. A young person once came home from such a meeting, and as she shared, the Spirit came upon her, and she began to speak words that could only be from God. That is the testimony of Jesus, the spirit of prophecy, and it is not reserved for a few. The same Spirit who raised Christ wants to flow through you, confirming the gospel with gifts, fruit, and authority over darkness. When you ask for the power that came at Pentecost, you are not asking for something strange; you are asking for the normal Christian life.

Jesus Himself modeled what this looks like. After His baptism, He was full of the Holy Spirit, led by the Spirit, empowered by the Spirit, and anointed by the Spirit. Then He opened the scroll and declared, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me.” That same progression is for us. It is one thing to have the Spirit dwelling in you to make you like Christ; it is another to have Him come upon you to make you a channel. Both are essential Scripture separates them. John baptized with water, but Jesus baptizes with the Holy Spirit.

So when you pray, “Keep a close eye on our life and teaching,” remember that a clean channel is vital, but the cleansing is His work. Come as you are, hungering and thirsting. Reckon the old life crucified with Christ, sow to the Spirit in prayer and the Word, and you will reap His life. The mind set on the Spirit is life and peace. Do not let reasoning or tradition box in what God wants to pour out. The early church did not strategize; they waited until they were clothed with power from on high, and then the gospel spread like fire, through persecution, through ordinary believers scattered abroad, everywhere becoming a new center for world evangelism.

I join my faith with yours. Lord, let Your word run swiftly. Confirm it with the Holy Spirit’s gifts and with true, lasting conversions. Make us living epistles, known and read by all. May our joy come from seeing names written in heaven, as we share in the abundance You have freely given. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
