Beloved of All
🙏 Father, thank You that Your Word is a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path, Ps 119:105. We ask the goal of our instruction would be obtained in a greater fullness: LOVE pouring out of a Cleansed Heart, a good conscience and a sincere faith, 1 Tim 1:5. We ask for the Power of the Holy Spirit, Lk 24:48-49, the Power when The Holy Spirit came upon us like in Acts 1:8, (There are NOT two Holy Spirit's, but the SAME Spirit that raised Christ from the dead is at work in our mortal bodies at present, giving us LIFE, to pay attention to ourselves and our teaching, 1 Tim 4:16, walk worthy, Col 1:10, 2 Thes 1:11. We ask You testify through us granting faith in Christ for Eternal Life, Rom 1:16-17, Rom 10:17, repentance from works that lead to death and live in light of a Coming Day of Judgement, Heb 6:1-2. Give us what to say and how to say it, Jn 12:49, resulting in increased fellowship, 1 Jn 1:3, and conversions of the soul, Ps 19:7. May it be used to equip the church, promote unity of the faith and knowledge of The Son of God, Eph 4:12-13.

🙇🏻 "Finally, brothers and sisters, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be glorified, just as it has with you, 2 and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked people; for not all have faith. 3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one," 2 Thes 3:1-2,3. Father, we ask Your Word gets the respect and priority it deserves in our lives, in the church and the world -- Deut 8:3, Job 23:12, Isa 55:2, Ps 119:103, Matt 4:4, Rev 2:17, Rev 19:13. May it be made effectual in its ministry to ourselves, our hearers & readers, 1 Tim 4:16, and may it cover much ground to an end of international discipleship, i.e. Baptism & Teaching Obedience to The Sum of Your Word, Matt 28:19,20 -- c.f. Rom 1:5, Rom 16:26.

🧎🏻We ask You confirm the Word with fruit of The Holy Spirit, Gal 5:22-23, gifts, 1 Cor 12:4-5,6-7,8-9,10, authority over demons, Luke 11:20, Luke 10:17-18,19 -- and rejoicing about the reality of true and solid conversions that persevere until the end, names written in Heaven, Luke 10:20, in the Lamb's Book of Life, Dan 12:1, Mal 3:16-17, Rev 21:7. We pray for living epistles known and read by all men, 2 Cor 3:2-3. May our joy be derived from the Biblically prescribed method of soul-winning, Ps 51:12-13, Ps 126:6, and sharing in the joy of heaven, Luke 15:7, the application of the wisdom freely received, Prov 11:30, because You are The Teacher, and The Holy Spirit our Comforter-Advocate-Helper takes what is Yours and teaches us all things, and even reminds us what You've said, Jn 14:26. Tell us what is yet to come Jn 16:13 and that those who are wise win souls, Prov 11:30.

🙇🏻 We pursue love, earnestly desire spiritual gifts, and respect the emphasis You placed on prophecy, 1 Cor 14:1 -- may it edify, comfort, exhort, 1 Cor 14:3. Put aside other notions except that of which prophecy is: "The Testimony of Jesus is The Holy Spirit of Prophecy," Rev 19:10, that it is the Sword of The Spirit, The Word of God, Heb 4:12, the Spirit of Our Father speaking through us, Matt 10:20, The Holy Spirit, Mk 13:11, Lk 12:12, The Advocate, Comforter and Helper, John 14:26. May we find joy in knowing others will fellowship with us, The Father, The Son, 1 Jn 1:3-4, The Holy Spirit, 2 Cor 13:14, and each other, 1 Jn 1:7, from the True Gospel proclaimed by Christ Our Savior and Lord, committed to His Apostles, Matt 28:18-20, Lk 24:46-47, Acts 1:8, Tit 1:4, Heb 2:3-4, Jude 1:3. Thank You, Phil 4:6-7, in Jesus' Name, Jn 14:13-14, Amen, 2 Cor 1:20, Rev 3:14.

We lift our hearts together in unity, giving thanks for the power and authority of God’s Word, which is sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12). Your request reflects a deep hunger for the Word to spread rapidly, bear fruit, and transform lives, both our own and those we seek to reach. We stand with you in this holy pursuit, asking the Lord to fulfill every godly desire expressed here.

Father, we pray that Your Word would indeed run swiftly and be glorified, just as it was in Thessalonica (2 Thessalonians 3:1). May it be spoken, prayed, written, and sung with boldness and clarity, so that hearts are convicted, minds are renewed, and souls are saved. Let it not return to You void but accomplish the purpose for which You sent it (Isaiah 55:11). We ask for the Holy Spirit’s power to rest upon us, that we may be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8). Fill us afresh with the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead, that we may walk in newness of life and proclaim the Gospel with authority (Romans 8:11).

We rebuke every spirit of apathy, distraction, or compromise that would seek to hinder the spread of Your Word. Strengthen us to pay close attention to our lives and doctrine, for in doing so, we will save both ourselves and those who hear us (1 Timothy 4:16). Let our teaching be rooted in love, flowing from a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith (1 Timothy 1:5). May the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control, be evident in all we do (Galatians 5:22-23).

We also lift up the need for spiritual gifts to operate among us, especially prophecy, which edifies, exhorts, and comforts the church (1 Corinthians 14:3). Let us earnestly desire these gifts, not for personal glory, but for the building up of the body of Christ (1 Corinthians 14:1). May the testimony of Jesus, the very spirit of prophecy, be at the center of all we declare (Revelation 19:10). Give us wisdom to discern truth from error, and boldness to speak only what You command, as Christ did (John 12:49).

Father, we ask that You would raise up living epistles among us, men and women whose lives are so transformed by Your Word that all who encounter them see Christ (2 Corinthians 3:2-3). Let our joy be found in soul-winning, knowing that there is rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents (Luke 15:7). Equip us to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all that Christ commanded (Matthew 28:19-20).

We pray for unity in the faith and the knowledge of Your Son, that we may grow into maturity, no longer tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine (Ephesians 4:13-14). Protect us from unreasonable and wicked people who oppose the truth, and deliver us from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:2-3). Let Your Word be our daily bread, sweeter than honey to our mouths (Psalm 119:103), and may we meditate on it day and night so that we may observe to do all that is written in it (Joshua 1:8).

Finally, Lord, we thank You that every promise You have made finds its "Yes" in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). We seal this prayer in His mighty name, trusting that You will accomplish all that we have asked according to Your will. May Your Word cover the earth as the waters cover the sea, and may Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

We hear the longing behind your prayer, a deep desire to see God’s Word honored and lives truly changed. It’s clear your heart beats for the Spirit’s power, not just right doctrine but the kind of teaching that produces love from a cleansed heart. That’s a gift.

As we join you, we’re reminded that the Spirit’s work always carries three strands together: His power, His truth, and His love. Power alone can drift into error, truth without love can wound, but the Spirit brings them perfectly together. Your prayer already reaches for that balance, asking for boldness, for the Word to spread, and for the fruit of love to be the result. That’s exactly where real fruit grows.

One simple encouragement: perhaps invite a trusted friend or small group to pray these same requests with you regularly. There’s a special steadiness that comes when others stand with you in intercession for the advance of the gospel. And in your everyday conversations, stay attentive to those quiet inner promptings, often the Word runs rapidly not just through sermons but through a timely word of encouragement or a moment of genuine listening.

Father, we ask that Your Word would run swiftly and be glorified. Fill Your servant with Your Spirit’s wisdom and power. Let love, joy, and peace mark their teaching and their life. May many come to know Jesus and be built up in the faith, united in the knowledge of Your Son. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The prayer that has ascended from your heart, laden with Scripture and yearning for the power of the Holy Ghost, stirs my own soul to its depths. You have asked for the Word to run swiftly and be glorified, and for the Spirit's witness to attend it with saving power. This is a request after God's own heart, for the Spirit of God will not set His seal to what I say or what you say, but He will confirm the testimony of Jesus Christ! The things of God concerning Christ Jesus our Lord shall never be without the attesting power of the Holy Spirit. It is this that we must earnestly seek, that the Holy Spirit would speak through us, not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power.

Yet how quick we are to forget that deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. You have prayed for a cleansed heart, a good conscience, and love unfeigned. This is well, for the grace of God has not come into us merely to keep us away from some few notable vices, but to deliver us altogether from the power of darkness. By this grace we mean to fight our way to Heaven in the very teeth of the enemy. But never imagine that a stock of power to save souls can be your own, apart from the Spirit of God. I cannot suppose a greater temptation to pride and to living at a distance from God! No man was ever saved by the means of grace apart from the Holy Spirit. The letter of truth you have learned is good, but you still need the Spirit of God to make it the light and power of God to your soul. It is the Holy Spirit who takes of the things of Christ and shows them to us, bringing every high thought into captivity to the obedience of faith.

Your plea for living epistles, known and read of all men, is a plea for holiness. But remember, the Spirit is a dove, full of peace, love, and kindness, not a bird of prey. Grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. The term is delicate and tender: grieve him not. We are too much in the habit of talking of the love of Jesus, without thinking of the love of the Holy Spirit. Let there be no hardness of heart, for while God is abroad on errands of love, go forth to meet him. Today, today seek the salvation of men. The calls of the inspired Word are not those of Moses or Paul merely, but the solemn utterances of the Holy Spirit speaking through them. He saith, "Today, if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts." The hardness of man's heart against the Gospel is the most grievous of all provocations.

Come, then, to wrestling prayer. Elijah first manifests his faith before the priests of Baal, and then retires to wrestle with God upon Carmel. Our new-born spirit has power, but that power is never fully drawn out except when the Spirit of God quickens us. "Praying in the Holy Ghost" builds an altar and lays the sacrifice in order; then love, like the priest, brings holy fire from Heaven. If in His power I fervently draw near to God, my prayer must be prevalent. Wake up, members of the body of Christ, to earnest prayer! The Spirit will give the preacher power though he be rustic and rough; none of his adversaries shall stand against him. Where the Spirit of God is, there is liberty and power. You have only to seek for that which God has promised to give, and you can do wonders. He will give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him. Look away from the strength of good intentions and strong resolutions, and rely wholly upon the might of God the Holy Ghost. Jesus Christ, the great founder of our religion, needed to be anointed of the Holy Spirit; how much more do we?

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a commendable thing to pray for the swift course and glorification of the divine Word, and to desire that your own life be a living epistle, known and read by all. But see that the root from which these prayers spring is a sincere and purifying love. Nothing is so beneficial as to pursue this love to the utmost of our power, for it is this that has been the occasion of all soundness in the faith. For men, because they loved not their brethren, have envied those in high repute, and from envying have become eager for power, and from a love of power have introduced heresies. So the Apostle shows that the way to charge some not to teach another doctrine is by charity, for where there is love, there is no need of much commanding.

Now the end of the commandment is love out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned. This love is not merely in words but flows from the disposition and sentiment. An impure life produces divisions, for everyone that does evil hates the light. There is a friendship even among the wicked, but this is not from a good conscience, not from a pure heart, but from that which is false and hypocritical. A sincere faith produces love, which the one who truly believes in God cannot endure to lay aside.

You ask for the sword of the Spirit to be effective. Remember then that the Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has declared Him. What has He declared? That no man has seen God at any time, that God is a Spirit, and that it is impossible to see God; that no man knows the Father save the Son. But the word declared shows the plainer and clearer teaching which He gave not to the Jews only but to all the world. To the prophets not all gave heed, but to the Only-Begotten Son of God the whole world yielded and obeyed. So the teaching is far clearer, and this is the very Testimony of Jesus.

When you seek that the Word be made effectual and cover much ground, understand that the power rests not in human syllogisms or mere words. God is faithful, that is, true. Mistrust not then what is from Him, for there is nothing of man in it. How many soever be the promises of God, in Christ is the yea, and in Him the Amen, so that the word abides unshaken and steadfast. Therefore the Apostle gave thanks for the Romans’ faith, not their verbal disputations or questionings. The whole world had heard of their faith. Consider the power of the preaching, how by means of publicans and fishermen it took hold upon the very head of all cities. This is the power of the Holy Spirit.

Yet in desiring such gifts, be cautious, for not all zeal is pure. There is a jealousy of God which arises from a warm and godly passion, not for the sake of power or honor or wealth, but for the purity of the bride. The Apostle was jealous with this very jealousy, desiring that the church be presented as a pure virgin. This is from God; the other is from an erring mind.

Keep then a close eye on your life and teaching. For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts. It is possible to be a bad man even without doing anything: to have envy, unbelief, deceit, to hold perverted doctrines. All these things are of the heart, and to be pure of these things is true holiness. For blessed are the pure in heart.

Seek to win souls and share in the joy of heaven, but know that the real rejoicing is over names written in the Book of Life, over true and solid conversions that persevere. When Philip preached in Samaria and great signs were done, there was great joy in that city. But true faith is proved not by wonders only but by a changed heart that flees from the sorcery of worldly pride, like Simon who sought the gift of God with money and was rebuked. The goal is that you may offer to God the firstlings of your good deeds and words, rendering thanks not only when thriving but also when in need. For to be thankful in fair winds is no wonder, but when storms are upon us, then is the time for displaying patience and goodness of heart.

Knowing then these things, deliver yourselves from the evil slavery of vainglory and account neither pomp of power nor dominion of wealth to be blessed, but virtue only. For thus shall you both enjoy security here, and attain unto the good things to come, which eye has not seen nor ear heard, things prepared for them that love Him. Let us then be of the blessed, that we may attain to these everlasting good things by the grace and love towards man of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Your prayer reveals a heart truly hungry for the word to run its course and be honored, and for the Spirit’s power to rest upon the church. That very longing is a mark of His work in you. Remember, the same Spirit who spoke through David and gave us all Scripture now dwells in us to guide, teach, and empower. We don’t need to cast lots or wait uncertainly; the gift has been given. The river of living water Jesus promised is meant to flow from within every believer, not as a mere trickle but as an overflowing witness.

The central stream of that witness is always the resurrection of Jesus. Death could not hold Him, and the life that raised Him now animates our mortal bodies. When we open our mouths to proclaim Him, the Spirit bears witness to the truth. He confirms the word with inward conviction, with the beauty of a transformed life, and with gifts distributed as He wills. This is how the gospel spreads rapidly and is glorified, not by human cleverness, but by the Spirit testifying through yielded vessels.

As you pray for love from a cleansed heart and for unity of the faith, keep in mind that a church lacking love forfeits the conscious presence of Jesus. The Spirit cultivates a holy discernment that cannot tolerate the leaven of evil. He enables us to overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil, not by our own striving, but because the Overcomer lives within us. When we walk in that reality, the enemy recognizes the true authority of Christ in us, and the Lord guards us from the evil one.

I also rejoice that you asked for conversions that last, for names written in the Lamb’s book. There is a precious assurance here: the Spirit bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God. This inward testimony is God’s own record concerning His Son. To receive it is to believe the truth; to reject it would make God a liar. So let your joy not rest merely on the fruit you see, but on the certainty that the Spirit Himself confirms the reality of new birth in those who believe.

Your own life and teaching matter immensely. You are a living epistle, known and read by all. The Lord always preserves His true witnesses, and He calls you to be faithful, keen in love, rich in hospitality, steady in sound doctrine. As you continue to ask for the Spirit’s filling, expect Him to anoint your words, to give you what to say and how to say it. He will use you to equip the saints and to call many from darkness to light. The word will not return void. He is faithful, and He will do it.
