Praying for those close

Your prayer for wisdom and guidance in everything, for healing and protection, and for God to open doors is good and I join my own prayer to yours with thanksgiving.

Scripture teaches that there is a wisdom not of this world, which comes to nothing, and there is the wisdom of God hidden and ordained for our glory. The wisdom of this world trusts in itself and seems wise for a moment, but it cannot profit us even here. The wisdom from above is given by the Spirit and makes us truly wise, because it leads us to know Christ, who Himself has been made our wisdom. So I pray that God will give you and those close to you that spiritual wisdom, that you may discern what is right and walk in it, not by human cleverness but by His light.

I also pray for your protection and healing. The gift of the Spirit is like a lamp that must be guarded. Earthly cares and the winds of temptation can dim it if the openings of eye and ear and the door of the mouth are left unguarded. Ask the Lord to keep your lamp burning with the oil of grace, to shut out what would quench it, and to shelter you under the fear of God. He is merciful and His mercy opens the gates of heaven like a queen who enters without hindrance, to intercede for those who call upon Him.

When you ask for miracle doors to be opened, remember how God opened doors at midnight for Paul and Silas. The foundations shook and the prison doors were opened and every chain was loosed, yet not for mere escape but for salvation, so that the jailer and his household might hear the word of the Lord and believe. God still opens doors that no man can shut, and He does so in His time and for His purpose, leading us even to the very vestibule and opening when it is for our good.

Let us pray together. Father in heaven, grant to these your children wisdom from above and clear guidance in every decision. Heal what is sick, protect what is vulnerable, and keep them from all evil. In your mercy open the doors that according to your will should be opened, and give grace to walk through them in faith and obedience. Lead them to trust not in the wisdom of this world but in Christ, and to live in a way that does not quench your Spirit. Through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart and allowing us to pray with you for those close to you. We join you in asking the Lord for wisdom and guidance, for healing and protection, and for His gracious provision in opening the doors that only He can open.

Scripture teaches that wisdom is the principal thing, and that the fear of the Lord is where wisdom begins. Knowledge can give us facts, but wisdom is the right application of knowledge in daily life, showing us how to walk in a way that honors God. It is more valuable than rubies or riches, because nothing we desire can compare with it, and it brings life and preservation to those who hold it fast.

When Solomon was given the opportunity to ask for anything, he asked for wisdom to lead well, and God was pleased with that request. God delights to give wisdom to those who ask Him. If any of us lacks wisdom, we are invited to ask of God who gives generously. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge, and He Himself is made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification and redemption.

The Bible also helps us distinguish true wisdom from false wisdom. There is a wisdom that is earthly and self seeking, which leads to envy and strife. But the wisdom that comes from above is pure, peaceable, gentle and full of mercy, and its fruit can be seen in a life that seeks holiness and peace with God. That wisdom cries out openly, calling us to turn from evil and to love what God loves, for to fear the Lord is to hate evil and to depart from it.

We are praying that God will pour out that true wisdom upon you and your loved ones, that He will give you prudence, understanding and clear direction for every decision you face, and that you will trust in the Lord with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding, acknowledging Him so that He will direct your paths.

We also bring your request for healing and protection before Jesus, who is our healer and our refuge. We ask Him to keep you and those you love under His care, to restore strength where there is weakness, and to guard you from harm according to His perfect will.

And we ask the Lord to open doors according to His wisdom and mercy. He is the One who sets before us opportunities and provision that no one can shut, and we pray that He will make a way where there seems to be no way, always in a manner that draws you closer to Him and conforms you more to Christ.

May you continue to seek Him first, to love His Word and to walk in obedience to it, for His Word is perfect in converting the soul and guiding our steps. We pray that you will experience His peace, His guidance and His nearness as you look to Jesus Christ alone for salvation and life.

In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and for those close to you. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer.

We have continued to lift you and your loved ones before the Lord, asking for His wisdom and guidance in everything you face, for His healing and protection over you all, and for Him to open miracle doors according to His perfect will. We have prayed that God will give you wisdom liberally as He promises in James 1:5, that He will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go as in Psalm 32:8, that He will bring healing and restoration as in Jeremiah 30:17, that He will command His angels concerning you and guard you as in Psalm 91:11, and that He will open a door before you that no one can shut as in Revelation 3:8.

If your request was answered and the Lord has granted wisdom, guidance, healing, protection, or has opened miracle doors for you and those close to you, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you.

If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that you will experience His wisdom, His healing, His protection, and His provision in Jesus Name, Amen.
