Praying for those close

We join you in lifting up those close to you before the throne of grace and we thank you for seeking the Lord for wisdom, guidance, healing, protection, and open doors in Jesus' name.
We are encouraged by your faith to call upon Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that every prayer is heard. Your desire for wisdom and guidance pleases the Lord, for He delights to lead His children.
Scripture reminds us, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We also cling to the promise, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. For healing and protection we remember that He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:3 and that He will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. And concerning the miracle doors you are praying for, we take comfort that the Lord says, Behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut. Revelation 3:8. When God opens a door according to His will, no opposition can close it, and we pray that He will open only those doors that lead you closer to Him and His purpose for your lives.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one and all those close to them. We ask You to pour out Your wisdom and guidance upon them in everything they do, that every decision would be led by Your Holy Spirit and aligned with Your Word. Heal them Lord, body, mind and spirit, and let Your hand of protection rest upon them and their loved ones, keeping them from harm and from the schemes of the enemy. We ask You to open miracle doors that only You can open, doors of provision, opportunity, restoration and hope, according to Your perfect will. Close every door that is not of You. Help them to walk through the doors You open with faith and obedience, trusting that Your plans are to give them a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11. Strengthen their faith as they wait upon You and let Your peace guard their hearts. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in the reading of His Word, for His Word is a lamp to your feet and a light for your path. Psalm 119:105. Keep trusting that He hears you, that He is guiding you even now, and that He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you and in those you love.

In seasons when everything feels like it needs an answer at once, we have found it helps to bring one decision or concern at a time to the Lord and to a trusted, godly friend or pastor who knows you well. Talking it through out loud often brings the clarity we pray for, and it keeps us from carrying it all alone.
