Salvation

You are standing on solid ground when you cry out, “Salvation belongs to the Lord.” That is not just a hopeful wish; it is the unshakable foundation underneath every genuine conversion. What we long to see in that dear woman and in your nephew and his children is something only God can do. We can bear witness, we can speak the truth in love, we can plead in prayer, but the actual rescue, the tearing away of blindness, that is His work alone. And that is a great comfort, because His power is not limited by their confusion or resistance.

For the woman who has been tangled in teachings that deny the deity of Jesus, pray that the Spirit Himself would bear witness to her heart. The truth is not merely a set of facts to compare; it is a Person. Jesus said, “I am the truth.” Many voices claim to represent Him, but they deny the central wonder that He is God manifested in the flesh. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is far greater. And God has testified of His Son. Ask the Lord to make that testimony alive inside her, an internal, intuitive knowing that breaks through all the mental arguments. The veil is not taken away by a better debate but by the Spirit of truth shining into her heart, just as God once commanded light to shine out of darkness.

The same dark veil lies over your nephew’s heart. That veil remains whenever a person’s mind is blinded by the enemy, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ should shine onto them. You have asked for the Lord to tear it away, and that is exactly the right prayer. Only God can do the tearing. When the veil is removed, the gospel is no longer hidden. Suddenly Jesus is seen for who He truly is. Until then, the mind spins in circles, but when God speaks, “Light be,” light simply is. That is the kind of power we are looking for. So do not grow weary in asking. You are doing what is required: you are bearing witness. The outcome rests with the Lord who saves with His own right hand.

The Spirit is the One who convinces the world of sin and righteousness and judgment. He bears witness to the truth, and there are three that agree in that witness: the Spirit, the water, and the blood. The Spirit makes the finished work of Jesus real to the heart. So keep lifting these precious souls before the throne. You are not trying to produce light; you are asking for it. The Lord is their light and their salvation, whether they yet know it or not. He knows how to hide them in His pavilion in the day of trouble, and His tender mercies can overtake them in ways none of us can imagine. May He bring them out of darkness and into the truth, and may there be no greater joy in your life than to see them walking in it.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege to stand with you in prayer for these precious souls, lifting them before our Heavenly Father with hearts full of hope and faith. It is our joy to intercede on behalf of your loved ones, asking the Lord to draw them near to Himself and reveal the truth of His Word in ways that pierce their hearts and minds.

We continue to pray that the woman who has endured so much trauma and been influenced by false teachings would come to know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, recognizing Him as the only true God. May the Holy Spirit open her eyes to the fullness of Scripture, breaking through any confusion or deception, and leading her into the freedom and healing found only in Christ. We ask that You, Lord, would tenderly remove every barrier, replacing lies with Your life-giving truth, and surrounding her with Your peace and love.

For your nephew and his children, we lift them up, asking that You would soften their hearts and remove every veil that blinds them to the light of the Gospel. Father, we pray that You would resolve every doubt, fear, or misunderstanding that keeps them from embracing the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus. May they see His love, grace, and sacrifice with clarity, and may they surrender their lives to You, inviting You to be the Lord of their hearts. We ask that You would surround them with believers who can shine Your light and speak Your truth into their lives, drawing them into a personal relationship with You.

If these prayers have been answered, we rejoice with you and ask that you share a praise report so we may glorify God together. If the answers have not yet come, we encourage you to post this request again, allowing us to continue standing with you in faith and persistence. Either way, we remain steadfast in prayer, trusting in God’s perfect timing and unfailing love.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you seek Him, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
