Deliverance, Healing and Salvation of ###

Croomorvale

Disciple of Prayer
I am writing to request your powerful intercessory prayers for my ###-year-old sister, ###. She is not yet a born-again Christian, but I am standing in the gap for her soul, believing that the Lord will break every chain of trauma, confusion, and spiritual oppression in her life.
### has endured deep emotional and physical trauma from her childhood, carrying the weight of family rejection. This pain led her into years of rebellion, unhealthy relationships, and spiritual vulnerability. She is currently facing severe stagnation, confusion, and spiritual distress. I am petitioning the Body of Christ globally to join me in prayer for her total deliverance and salvation.

We stand with you in fervent prayer for your sister, believing with all our hearts that the Lord is mighty to save and deliver. The chains of trauma, confusion, and spiritual oppression that have bound her for so long are no match for the power of Jesus Christ, who came to set the captives free. We declare that every stronghold in her life will be broken in the name of Jesus, and we rebuke every spirit of rejection, rebellion, and stagnation that has sought to keep her in bondage.

The Word of God tells us in Isaiah 61:1-3, "The Lord Yahweh’s Spirit is on me, because Yahweh has anointed me to preach good news to the humble. He has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and release to those who are bound, to proclaim the year of Yahweh’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, to provide for those who mourn in Zion, to give to them a garland for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of Yahweh, that he may be glorified." We claim this promise over your sister’s life, believing that God will heal her broken heart and replace her mourning with joy.

We also lift up the issue of her salvation, for it is only through Jesus Christ that she can find true freedom and eternal life. The Bible is clear in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We pray that the Holy Spirit will draw her to Jesus, convicting her of her need for a Savior and opening her eyes to the truth of the Gospel. We rebuke any deception or hardness of heart that may be keeping her from receiving Christ, and we ask that God would reveal Himself to her in a powerful and personal way.

Regarding the unhealthy relationships she has been involved in, we must address this with biblical truth. The Word warns us in 1 Corinthians 15:33, "Don’t be deceived! Evil companionships corrupt good morals." We pray that God will sever any ungodly ties in her life and surround her with believers who will encourage her in her faith. We also rebuke any spirit of fornication or immorality that may have taken root, for the Bible is clear that sexual purity is God’s will for His children (1 Thessalonians 4:3-5). We ask that God would cleanse her heart and mind, renewing her thoughts and desires to align with His Word.

We stand on the promise in Joel 2:25, "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the hopper, the destroyer, and the cutter, my great army, which I sent among you." We believe that God will restore every broken area of her life, her emotions, her relationships, her purpose, and her spiritual walk. We pray that she will come to know the love of Christ, which surpasses all understanding, and that she will be rooted and grounded in that love (Ephesians 3:17-19).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. We lift up this precious sister to You, asking that You would break every chain of trauma, rejection, and spiritual oppression in her life. Lord, we rebuke the enemy’s plans to steal, kill, and destroy, and we declare that Your plans for her are for good and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Father, we ask that You would draw her to Yourself, softening her heart to receive the truth of the Gospel. Remove any scales from her eyes, Lord, and let her see the beauty of Your salvation. We pray that she would confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that she may be saved (Romans 10:9). Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let her walk in the freedom and power that only comes from You.

We ask for Your healing touch to mend her broken heart and restore her soul. Heal the wounds of her past, Lord, and replace her pain with Your peace. Surround her with godly influences and protect her from any relationships or situations that would lead her away from You. Give her a hunger and thirst for righteousness, and let her walk in the fullness of Your purpose for her life.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won through Jesus Christ. We declare that this sister is free, healed, and saved, not by our might or power, but by Your Spirit (Zechariah 4:6). We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in her life, and we give You all the glory, honor, and praise. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing about your sister and for standing in the gap for her with such faithful love. It’s clear how deeply you care, and we’re honored to join you in prayer for her deliverance, healing, and salvation. Your persistence matters more than you may realize right now.

When someone has carried deep trauma from childhood, especially rejection and pain from those who should have been safe, it often distorts their ability to trust, including their ability to trust God. What the abuse or neglect taught them about themselves and about those in authority can become a heavy lens that makes the real Jesus hard to see. Your sister’s rebellion and confusion may not be simple stubbornness; they may be the natural fruit of wounds that never healed. That’s not to excuse harmful choices, but to help you understand what you’re up against. In her heart, she may believe lies about her worth or about God’s character that make surrender feel impossible or unsafe.

So as you pray, we’d encourage you to also keep showing up in consistent, no-strings-attached love. Let your steady presence and your own honest faith become a small, safe picture of a God who doesn’t abandon His children. Practical acts of kindness, a listening ear, and your refusal to shame or lecture her can begin to rewrite some of those deep messages. You're not responsible for fixing her; only Jesus can bring true transformation. But your steadfast love can create a space where the Holy Spirit can work.

We are praying with you, asking the Lord to break every chain of trauma and spiritual oppression that holds captive. May Jesus reveal Himself to her as the One who sees her pain, carries her shame, and offers real healing instead of condemnation. Give her glimpses of His kindness that disarm her fears, and give you patience and strength for the long road. In Jesus' name we ask for her total deliverance and the gift of saving faith. Amen.

Father, i agree, as you want none to perish but all to come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9. We ask she'd be saved and come to thew knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. I ask the same for my spouse, stepmom, dad and children. We stay with You and ask You bring us to be of one mind, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, so we can spend eternity as close to Your throne as possible, in Jesus' Name

The father saw her and ran, and fell on her neck, and kissed her in much love. This is the vision I would set before you for your dear sister, whose soul is yet in the far country. She has endured deep wounds and the iron of family rejection has entered into her, but the kisses of the heavenly Father mean MUCH FORGIVENESS. Before she can stammer out the details of her rebellion and pain, the Father’s heart has already forgiven. There stands the prodigal, overwhelmed by His goodness, yet remembering the past; but the Father gives overflowing comfort, a clear deliverance, a bright, sunshiny day of salvation that puts assurance beyond all doubt.

Bondage under sin, bondage under the flesh, bondage to the fashions and customs of the world, to the fear of man, this is carnal bondage, and it has held her fast. Yet even this very sense of bondage may be the work of the Spirit, leading her to cry for mercy. The hour will come when she shall say, ‘I will arise and go unto my Father.’ The deliverance from such a cruel captivity as hers must be worked by the hand and outstretched arm of Jehovah alone; He brought forth Israel from Egypt, and He alone will bring her forth from the house of bondage. Salvation is of the Lord.

You stand in the gap, and this is no small thing. I stayed at the brook Jabbok, and I said, ‘Lord, give deliverance from him whom I think bloodthirsty.’ I crossed the brook full of fear and trembling, but tell it for the comfort of others in like trouble, I met my brother Esau, and he fell upon my neck and kissed me. So shall it be for your sister. The God who found a ransom for poor sinners has declared, ‘Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.’ Let her know that the way of salvation is simply to believe on Christ. Faith is not believing on it, but on Him. Depend upon Him without fear as to present and eternal salvation. God has said it: ‘Deliverance from the pit through a ransom.’

The leaves of this true tree of life, which is Christ, are for the healing of the nations. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the least thing about Him is full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the lifeblood, affect the spirits, and make the nature other than it was before. Every wound from family rejection, every scar from years of confusion, shall be touched by those leaves and made whole. The Sun of Righteousness shall rise with healing beneath His wings upon her soul that now sits in the midnight of despair.

Tell her that God has not set a barrier of her past sin; the Father kisses much, and those kisses mean overflowing comfort. He gives to some such a clear deliverance that from that day forward they cannot question their state before Him. The Father puts the assurance of the poor returning prodigal beyond all doubt. Rejoice in God’s salvation, for it is a divine salvation, planned in infinite wisdom, full of grace, and exactly fitted for the blackest of sinners. No one could have thought of that way of deliverance but God. Let her arise and go to her Father’s God, the God of her believing kin. He sees her already, and He will run to meet her with the kisses of forgiveness and adoption.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What you are doing, standing in the gap for your sister, is no small thing. It is a work of mercy, and such mercy pleases God. You have recognized that her soul is held captive by chains of trauma, rebellion, and confusion. These are not merely emotional wounds; they are the fruit of a mind made turbid by the confusion of evil thoughts. The enemy has used the rejection and pain of her childhood to distort her vision, so she mistakes phantoms for truth. This is a dangerous insanity of the understanding, far worse than any blindness of the eyes. But take courage: the very One who commanded light to shine out of darkness is able to shine in her heart and dispel every shadow.

Remember that no single virtue brings salvation, but there must be a careful hearing of the word, a continual recollection of it, fortitude, contempt of riches, and deliverance from all worldly things. For your sister, the first great need is that she hear the word of God with an open heart. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. It is not signs and wonders that will convert her, but the voice of the Lord speaking through Scripture, through the preaching of the Gospel, and through your own faithful testimony. So I urge you: do not grow weary in placing that word before her, in praying it over her, and in living it out. The seed may fall on hard ground, but the Lord of the harvest can break up that fallow ground.

You have asked for intercession, and that is right. The Apostle Paul himself attributed his deliverance not only to the mercies of God but also to the prayers of the saints. Suffering abounds in this fallen world, but when we suffer with Christ, we become partakers also of His comfort. Your affliction over your sister’s state is not wasted. It works for her comfort and salvation, if it is matched with patient endurance and unwavering hope. Do not let the storm of her present distress shake your confidence in Christ’s promises. All these tumults and confusions must come, but nothing can overthrow the Gospel. Jesus Himself foretold that there would be tribulation, yet He said, "See, be not troubled." He is not surprised by her rebellion or her stagnation. He stands ready to save.

Yet I must also speak plainly: her salvation cannot come while she clings to what is contrary to God’s design. The weight of unhealthy relationships and spiritual vulnerability flows from a life not yet surrendered to Christ. There can be no true deliverance without repentance. For our Lord said, "I came not to judge the world, but to save the world." He came not to condemn but to heal. But that healing requires that the sick person acknowledge her sickness. Pray that the Holy Spirit would grant her a clear eye to see the beam in her own eye, and that she would not prefer the favor of friends or the fleeting pleasures of sin to her eternal soul.

Be strong, then, and of good courage. Now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation. Do not let the shortness of time or the hardness of the battle cause you to relent. Urge her, entreat her, and above all pray without ceasing. God hearkens at the acceptable time, and He will succor in the day of salvation. Let your hope be steadfast, knowing that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed in her if she turns to the Lord. I join my prayer with yours: that the God of all mercies would break every chain, scatter every dark phantom, and lead her into the blessed light and liberty of the children of God, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
