Your faith as you stand in the gap for your sister moves me. What you are asking for is not a small thing, and yet the very nature of our salvation is that it rests entirely outside our own strength. God placed it beyond human capacity so that no one could ever boast. We are His workmanship, His poem, a thing of grace and beauty crafted by His own hand. That means the chains of trauma, the weight of rejection, and the years of confusion do not have the final word. The One who began a good work is able to bring it to completion in her life.

The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all people. And that grace is not a distant hope; it is pressed into the present moment. Scripture tells us, Now is the accepted time; now is the day of salvation. So do not let your heart grow weary in waiting, because every day that her heart beats is another day in which God’s offer stands open. There is a real urgency here, not meant to frighten but to awaken. So many have missed the appointed time. That’s why I join you in praying that she will not pass by this grace again, but receive the full deliverance that Jesus alone can give.

When the Israelites stood trapped between the sea and the Egyptian army, terror and despair must have seemed like the only future. Yet Moses cried out, “Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.” God led them into an impossible situation precisely to show that His deliverance needs no human backup. The same is true for your sister. The stagnation, the spiritual distress, the weight of her past, all of it may look like an inescapable trap. But God delights in making a way where there is no way. He knows how to deliver the godly out of temptation and to break oppression that no human hand can touch. When He does, the song will be like Miriam’s, with dancing and tambourines, because a mighty deliverance will have been wrought.

This deliverance is not a mere philosophy or a system. Jesus is the captain of our salvation. His very name means “the Lord is salvation.” He is the originator, the leader who went ahead through suffering to bring many sons and daughters into glory. There is no escape if we neglect so great a salvation, because it is the only hope, the only rescue from sin, from the enemy’s grip, and from eternal darkness. The world may offer many false refuges, but salvation is found in no one else. Invite her to look away from every broken cistern and to the living God, who will not cast out anyone who comes to Him.

So, while you wait, work out your own response with a reverent diligence, not to earn what is freely given, but to align yourself fully with what God is doing. That same diligence in prayer, in love, in refusal to give offense, will testify to her of the grace you cling to. The battle is the Lord’s. Stand still and watch Him move, and believe that soon you will celebrate with her a deliverance that brings eternal joy.
