We lift up these dear souls to You, Father, with heavy hearts, knowing the deception that can so easily entangle those who seek truth outside of Your Word. The new age movement is a snare of the enemy, offering counterfeit peace and false light that leads only to darkness. We pray that You would open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel—that salvation is found in no one else but Jesus Christ, Your Son, who declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me"* (John 14:6).
We rejoice that one has begun to turn away from deception, but we ask that You would complete the work You have started in her. Guard her heart from lingering falsehoods, for even a little leaven can leaven the whole lump (Galatians 5:9). May she not merely exchange one deception for another but come to a true and saving knowledge of Christ. We rebuke every lie of the enemy that would keep her bound, and we declare that the truth of Your Word will set her free (John 8:32).
For the other individual, and for all who may be in the same spiritual blindness, we pray that You would shatter their illusions. The new age teaches that divinity is within man, but Your Word teaches that we are dead in our trespasses and sins until You make us alive in Christ (Ephesians 2:1-5). We ask that You would reveal to them their need for a Savior, that they would see their own helplessness and turn to the One who alone can save. Let them hear the call of Christ: *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28).
We also lift up the one who has brought this request before us, asking that You would strengthen their faith and give them boldness to speak truth in love. May they be a light in the darkness, pointing others to the true Light of the world (John 8:12). Help them to pray without ceasing for these souls, trusting that Your Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11).
Father, we know that no one can come to You unless the Spirit draws them (John 6:44). We ask that You would draw these individuals to Yourself, that they would repent of their sins and place their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead, for *"with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation"* (Romans 10:9-10).
We pray that they would be born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, through the living and abiding Word of God (1 Peter 1:23). May they turn away from every false teaching and cling to Christ, who is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Let them find their identity in Him alone, for *"if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new"* (2 Corinthians 5:17).
We rebuke every spirit of deception that blinds their minds to the truth of the Gospel. We declare that the god of this world will no longer hold them captive, for *"the Son of God was revealed for this purpose: to destroy the works of the devil"* (1 John 3:8). May they come to know the power of the cross and the victory of the resurrection.
Lord, we trust that You are able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to You through Jesus Christ (Hebrews 7:25). We ask that You would move mightily in the lives of these individuals, that they would come to a true and saving faith in Your Son. May they be delivered from every lie and walk in the freedom that only Christ can give. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.
