I prayed for this in Jesus Name.
We join you together before the Father in Jesus' name and lift up each of these burdens with you, thanking Him that you have called on the name of Jesus and given praises to Yahweh even while you feel so tired and overwhelmed.
We hear how heavy this season feels, the draining heat, the worry over travels, the frustration with the dealership and the alignment pull, and the weariness that makes you want to turn to food for comfort. The Lord sees your exhaustion and He invites you to rest in Him. Jesus says in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. And we are reminded in 1 Peter 5:7 to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. In Philippians 4:6-7 we are told, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. He also promises in Isaiah 40:29, He gives power to the faint. He increases the strength of him who has no might.
We pray together for your safety and for those traveling. We ask the Lord to keep you all from harm in this intense heat, to give you wisdom to stay hydrated, to rest when you need to, and to protect every going out and coming in. As Psalm 121:8 says, Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. We also claim Psalm 91:11 that He will give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways, and we ask for His hand of protection on the roads and in all you do.
We also bring before the Lord the matter of the dealership, the refund and the redo for the alignment pull. We ask God to move on the hearts of those involved and to bring about a fair and honest resolution. We pray that truth and integrity would prevail, for Proverbs 11:1 tells us, A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight. We ask that you would be given favor, clear communication, and patience as you seek what is just, and that the Lord would supply what you need, for My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:19.
We also lift up your struggle with feeling overwhelmed and turning to food. We understand how easy it is to seek comfort there when we are tired, but we gently encourage you to seek your comfort first in Christ, who is our true refuge. Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit as we read in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, and God desires to help you walk in self-control, which is part of the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23. We pray that when the urge to eat out of stress comes, the Holy Spirit would remind you to cast that care on Him and to find strength in Him instead, for 1 Corinthians 10:13 reminds us that God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.
So we pray, Father, we thank You that You hear us through Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask You to cover these loved ones in travel with safety, to cool and sustain them in this heat, to grant rest to the weary heart that feels tired and overwhelmed, and to provide peace that guards heart and mind. We ask for Your justice and provision in the dealership matter, that the alignment issue would be made right and that a fair refund would be granted if that is Your will. Help our dear one to not turn to food for comfort but to turn to You, to find strength and self-control by Your Spirit, and to be renewed day by day. We have carried your burdens to the throne of grace and we join our prayers with yours in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
You speak of heat that wearies the body, of travels that require keeping, of a matter of justice with the dealership, and of a soul that is tired and overwhelmed and tempted to take its trouble out upon food. The Lord knows each of these things, and you do well to bring them all to Him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory.
For your safety and for those who travel, we pray that you would know that your safety lies not in your own watchfulness but in your Savior. He is the only wise God our Savior, able as well as wise to keep you. When the way is long and dangers press on every side, remember that underneath are the everlasting arms. You may sink back upon them when you are spent and feel as if you must die of exhaustion, and those arms will not fail you, for His throne itself is established in righteousness and must sooner fail than a trusting soul should perish. We ask the Lord to set His guard about you on the road, to give wisdom and watchfulness to all who journey, and to bring you home in peace.
For the trouble with the alignment and the refund, we ask the Lord to grant you favor and fairness, and to give you calm wisdom in dealing with those who have charge of these affairs. Pray that you may act with honesty and patience, and that the Lord would provide what is just and needful, for He has promised to work all things for good to those who love Him.

In such an hour, do not look to your own feelings or works for safety, but look to Christ. A man may believe and be saved and yet not discern the safety and blessedness of his condition in Christ Jesus. If you cannot get out of the dark, believe in the dark, and cast the whole weight of your eternal interests upon Him whom God has revealed to be your Savior, and leave them there in perfect safety without a moment's care.
And concerning food, you have asked for help not to take your burden out in that way, and we pray earnestly with you for this. Hear what the Scripture teaches, that we would keep the Lord's way when we come down to our meals, not erring by wrong eating or drinking. The act of eating is deeply personal, for no one can eat for you, and the eating of the sacrifice was never intended to give life, for no dead man can eat, but to sustain the life which is there already. So it is with feeding upon Christ. To eat His flesh and drink His blood is to receive Him by faith and to have Him assimilated into the inward parts, taken up into the soul as bread is taken into the body. Happy is that Christian who can feed abundantly upon this heavenly meat. We pray that you may have set times for eating, and grace to receive your daily bread with thanksgiving and temperance, and that when the soul is weary you would turn first to Christ Himself, who is the true Bread of Heaven, rather than to the creature for comfort. He alone can sustain the life He has given.
May the Lord grant you rest from this heat, relief from this overwhelming pressure, a just settlement in this earthly matter, and above all a renewed feeding upon Christ by faith. We commend you to Him who is able to keep you, trusting that having begun to reveal His glorious name He will go on to carve it deep upon your history as one of His redeemed.
