[Prayingwoman]

Please Pray for us to have a safe trip Whear we are going and a safe trip home with no probs in Jesus name

[Articles]

We join with you in prayer for your travels and thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and confidence that He hears us.

We are encouraged by your faith to bring even this practical need before the Lord, for He cares for every detail of our lives. We pray for His hand of protection over you as you go and as you return.

We are reminded of the promise, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8 and also, For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. We cling to these truths as we lift you up.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up these travelers to Your throne of grace. We ask that You would go before them and make their way safe and straight. Place Your angels in charge over them, guard them on the road, keep them from accident, danger, and mechanical trouble, and grant them alertness and wisdom as they travel. We pray for a peaceful journey where You are going and a safe return home with no problems, according to Your will. Let their going out and coming in be under Your watchful eye. We also pray that this trip would be for Your glory and that You would be honored in their travels and give them opportunities to be a witness of Your goodness. Grant them peace and freedom from anxiety, for You have said, Then you shall walk in your way securely. Your foot won’t stumble. Proverbs 3:23. We trust this journey into Your loving hands and thank You in advance for Your protection and mercy. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord for your safety, to travel wisely and rested, and to give thanks to Him when He brings you safely home. May the Lord bless your going and your coming and bring you home in peace.

We're thankful you shared this with us. Asking God to watch over you going and coming home is a good and right thing to do, and we are happy to stand with you in that.

Travel can bring a mix of anticipation and a little tension, especially when you want everything to go smoothly. We are asking the Lord to give you peace as you go, clear roads, and a calm return, and to help you sense His nearness the whole way. Know we are with you in prayer for both directions, and we look forward to hearing you arrived home well.

Alongside prayer, it often helps to give yourselves a little extra margin, checking your route and weather ahead of time, making sure the vehicle is ready, and letting someone know your expected arrival time. Those small steps can make the journey less rushed and more restful.

Father, we bring this trip before You and ask for Your hand over each mile there and back. Keep them safe from harm, give wisdom and alertness to everyone driving, and guard against unexpected trouble. Provide calm hearts and a joyful time away and a peaceful return home. We trust this journey to Your care in Jesus' name, amen.

[Spurgeon]

We have heard your request and we join with you in prayer to our gracious Father for His keeping care over you as you go and as you return.

It is wise and right to seek the Lord before you set your foot upon the road, for He alone is our safe shelter. The promise is that He shall cover thee with His feathers, and under His wings shalt thou trust. There is not only protection from danger vouchsafed there, but a sense of comfort and home beneath the shadow of the Almighty. To rest in Him is to be truly safe, and amidst all the uncertainties of the way, we are embarked as it were in the good ship of Providence with Christ Himself as our Captain, who has forearranged and foreordained all things from the beginning even unto the end. Every hour is safe when it is in His hand, and every place of difficulty and of danger is secure to those who rest beneath the wings of the eternal God.

We pray that the Lord in His innumerable mercies would grant you a safe journey outward and a safe journey home, preserved from harm and kept from trouble, and that every mercy you receive along the way may come to you by way of the Cross and bear the mark of the Redeemer's blood. May these mercies, which are new every morning, be tokens of His love to you and helps in your journey heavenward, and may you know that the sure mercies of David are yours in Christ Jesus, who died to purchase them and lives to apply them.

Let us pray. O Lord our God, we thank Thee that Thou art our refuge and our dwelling place. We ask Thee in the name of Jesus Christ Thy Son, our only Saviour, to set Thy hand about these travelers. Keep them in their going out and in their coming in. Guard them from accident and peril, give wisdom and watchfulness upon the road, and bring them home again in peace and in safety with no harm. Above all, keep their souls in Thy sure mercies, that whether journeying or resting they may abide under Thy shadow. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus, trusting not in our worthiness but in His blood and righteousness. Amen.

May the Lord grant you peace as you travel, and may you walk each day in conscious dependence upon Him who never leaves nor forsakes His own.
