Please join me in prayers for my friend mission trip to Mexico

It is good that you have brought this before the Lord and asked others to pray with you. We join you in praying for this mission team and for the work they have undertaken in obedience to Jesus' command to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to observe all that He has commanded.
We pray that the Lord will grant safe travel and keep His hand upon each team member, that He will give them unity, boldness and love as they share the gospel, and that He will prepare the hearts of those who hear, both those who have heard before and those who are hearing for the first time. May the fruit of this labor remain, and may those who win souls be found wise in the Lord, shining with His truth. We ask that the team itself would be strengthened and convicted by the Word as they serve, walking in humility and dependence on the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and strength.
We also hear your concern for your friend personally and for your own steps. You have asked for truth to be made clear and for the right path to be shown, and that is exactly what God desires for His children. He delights in truth and He establishes the lip of truth forever, while what is false endures only for a moment. When there are struggles and responsibilities, especially for one who bears leadership and must give account to his church and to others, the wise course is to walk in the light, to fear the Lord and to depart from evil, and to seek counsel that is deep and faithful.
Scripture teaches that counsel in the heart is like deep water and it takes understanding to draw it out, and that he who walks with wise men will be wise. As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. That sharpening happens best through honest, godly counsel face to face with mature believers who know you both and can speak the truth in love. We encourage you both to bring these personal matters openly to trusted, wise pastors and elders who can help you discern what is correct and what steps honor the Lord, rather than carrying them alone across a distance.
There is also wisdom in waiting quietly before the Lord until the matter becomes clear, trusting that He will not leave His children without direction but will work to bring about what is right in His time. As you wait, continue to pray that the Lord will protect you and guide you, that He will give you a clear mind and a pure heart, and that He will lead both of you into decisions that reflect holiness, honesty and accountability. Pray for discernment to see what is true, for courage to follow it, and for grace to encourage one another toward growth that pleases Christ.
