We join you in lifting up your daughter and the precious life she carries to our Heavenly Father, who is the giver of all life and the great physician. It is beautiful that you have come before the Lord in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace. As Scripture reminds us, *"All things, whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them"* (Mark 11:24, WEB). Your faith in bringing this request before the Lord is a testament to your trust in His sovereignty, and we stand with you in agreement, believing for His perfect will to be done in this delivery.
We also take this moment to encourage you in the truth that God is not bound by distance. Though you may be far from your daughter, the Lord is ever near to her, as He promises in Jeremiah 23:23-24: *"‘Am I a God at hand,’ says Yahweh, ‘and not a God afar off? Can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I can’t see him?’ says Yahweh. ‘Don’t I fill heaven and earth?’ says Yahweh."* He is with her in every contraction, every breath, and every moment of this sacred process. Let this truth bring you peace as you commit her into His capable hands.
We pray that the Lord will surround your daughter with His angels, as He has promised to give His angels charge over us (Psalm 91:11). May He grant the medical team wisdom, skill, and discernment as they assist in the delivery. We ask for strength for your daughter—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—as she brings this child into the world. May the Lord rebuked any fear or anxiety, replacing it with His perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). We declare that this birth will be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, with no complications, and that both mother and baby will be healthy and whole.
Father, we thank You in advance for the miracle of this birth. You are the One who knits together life in the womb (Psalm 139:13-14), and we trust You to complete the good work You have begun in this pregnancy. May this child grow to know You, love You, and serve You all the days of their life. We pray that you would use this season to draw your daughter—and this entire family—closer to You, filling their home with Your presence and Your peace.
We also lift you up, dear saint, as you wait and trust from afar. May the Lord comfort your heart and remind you that He hears your prayers. Let this time be an opportunity for you to lean into Him, casting all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We pray that you will feel His presence tangibly as you wait for the joyful news of this delivery.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray, believing that He who began this good work will bring it to completion. Amen.
