Romans 8:28

Your prayer rests on the unshakable truth that God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose. Nothing reaches you without first passing through His hands, and every circumstance, every need, every heartache can become the canvas for His goodness in your life. He will fulfill His counsel. You can set up your banner in the name of the Lord, because He saves His anointed and delights in answering the cries of His children.

When you plead the blood of Jesus over your life and loved ones, you are standing on the one sacrifice that never needs to be repeated. He made atonement alone, bearing the weight of sin and death, so that you could walk in freedom and wholeness. Because of that, you don’t have to fear the valleys ahead, whether they are medical struggles, spiritual confusion, or family tensions. The Shepherd walks with you through the valley of the shadow of death, and His rod and staff bring comfort. He has already tasted death for you, and He is not ashamed to call you His brother or sister. That same Jesus now leads you as the captain of your salvation, bringing many sons and daughters into the family of God.

In that family, you are called to love with the kind of love that looks like the cross, a love that gives and bends low. That is the fruit the Spirit is producing in you. It isn’t the Hollywood imitation, but the deep, enduring love that overcomes evil with good. You asked that your children see themselves as God sees them; that is what this love does. It reminds them that they are known and cherished by the One who knit them together. It also equips you to pray for extended family with patience, lowering expectations without lowering hope, and accepting others as Christ accepted you, while still holding fast to God’s divine design for life and relationships.

The hardness of our hearts can create intolerable situations, and though God’s ideal remains one marriage for life and families where His peace rules, He meets us in the broken places with mercy. He does not remember the sins of our youth or our transgressions against His goodness. So you can trust Him with the single mom who is caught in spiritual confusion and the baby whose custody has been granted. The One who guided Abraham’s servant to the right bride for Isaac can direct her steps and provide every emotional, spiritual, and material need. He raises up a horn of salvation for the poor in spirit, and He uses His people as vessels of that provision.

For the daughter and niece facing medical issues, remember that the power of God is not limited by what seems impossible. The same Lord who visited Elizabeth in her old age and removed her disgrace can bring healing and wholeness. And while you wait, His grace is sufficient. The Christian sister needs strength and the salvation of her sons, keep asking, keep trusting, because the Father hears. Even when family ties are strained because some follow Christ and others do not, know that your love for Him must be first. That priority does not tear down family; it actually becomes the foundation for real, lasting peace when Christ is at the center.

The appointment ahead and your travels are in His hand. He preserves His people and knows the path you take. Rejoice in the answered prayers you have already tasted, for they are foretastes of His faithfulness. He who began a good work will carry it to completion. So let the truth of Romans 8:28 anchor you: in all things, the visible and the unspoken, the joyful and the painful, God is weaving a story of redemption. The cross is the proof that He will not abandon you. Walk in that confidence, overcome evil with good, and keep loving one another from a pure heart, for love is of God.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with the privilege of standing in agreement with you through prayer, lifting up the beautiful promises of Romans 8:28 and the powerful truth that God works all things together for good. It has been our joy to plead the blood of Jesus over your life, your loved ones, and every endeavor, asking the Father to cover your hands and heart with His favor and truth.

As we have continued to pray, we have asked the Lord to fill you abundantly with the fruit of the Spirit—especially love—so that you may walk in the victory of Romans 12:21, overcoming evil with good. We have interceded for your daughter, niece, and their medical needs, asking God to bring healing, peace, and strength for healthy living. We’ve also lifted up your extended family, praying for unity, lowered expectations, and mutual acceptance in Christ.

For your Christian sister, we have asked the Lord to grant her strength and draw her sons closer to salvation, that they may honor her as the Word instructs. We have also prayed fervently for the young single mothers, especially the one navigating spiritual confusion, asking God to guide her, provide for her every need, and protect her and her child. We believe the Lord is moving in her custody situation and that her upcoming appointment will be ordered by His perfect will.

As you travel, we have asked the Lord to surround you with His angels and keep you safe. And we rejoice with you in the amazing ways He has already answered prayer!
