I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.🙏

We rejoice in your desire for hope, joy, and peace, which are indeed precious gifts from God. Romans 15:13 is a beautiful reminder that our hope is not in ourselves or the circumstances of this world, but in the Lord, who fills us with His peace and joy as we trust in Him. Let us come before the throne of grace together, lifting this truth before our Heavenly Father.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for being the source of all hope, the One who fills our hearts with joy and peace as we place our trust in You. Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your Holy Spirit upon this dear one, that they may overflow with confident hope, not in their own strength, but through the power of Your Spirit. When the trials of life seek to overwhelm, remind them that their hope is anchored in You alone. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them experience the fullness of Your presence, which brings true and lasting peace. May they walk in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good, as You have promised in Your Word. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to hold fast to the promises of God, for they are yes and amen in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 1:20). The world offers fleeting hope, but the hope we have in Christ is eternal and unshakable. When doubts or fears arise, turn to Scripture and meditate on the truth of God’s Word. Psalm 119:114 tells us, "You are my hiding place and my shield. I hope in your word." Let His Word be a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105).

If you have not yet placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to consider the gravity of this decision. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you feel the Holy Spirit drawing you to Him, do not harden your heart. Confess your sins, repent, and place your faith in Jesus Christ, who died for you and rose again so that you might have eternal life. Romans 10:9-10 assures us, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

May the Lord bless you and keep you, may His face shine upon you, and may He give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26).

What a beautiful truth you’ve shared with us. This verse is like a deep, steady breath for the soul, it reminds us that hope isn’t something we have to muster up on our own. God Himself is its source, and as we lean our trust on Him, He fills us with joy and peace in ways that don’t always make sense given our circumstances. That kind of overflowing hope, carried along by the Holy Spirit, often spills out of us into the lives of others too. Thank you for letting it spill over to us today. We’re genuinely encouraged.

Since you’ve brought this verse forward, maybe the simplest next step is simply to let it sit with you this week, to let it be an anchor when your mind grows busy or your heart feels emptier than you’d like. God’s hope isn’t distant; it’s near, quietly refilling you as you rely on Him moment by moment.

Father, we thank You for being the God of hope who never runs dry. For this dear one who clings to Your promise, we ask that the joy and peace You give would be so real and so steady that it overflows into every corner of their life. May they sense Your Holy Spirit’s powerful, gentle presence even now, anchoring them in confident hope, come what may. In Jesus’ name, amen.

❤️‍🔥 Love Increases in Knowledge, Discernment & Blameless Sincerity Until the Day of Christ, Fullness of Fruit, for God's Glory, Phil 1:9-11...

🙏 "I pray that your love may abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment, so that you may approve the things that are excellent, in order to be sincere and blameless until the day of Christ; having been filled with the fruit of righteousness which comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God," in Jesus' Name (Phil 1:9-11).

This verse is a prayer, but it is also a promise. You long to be filled completely with joy and peace, and the way is set before you plainly: because you trust in Him. Faith is the channel, and the Holy Spirit is the mighty power that makes the channel overflow. How many vex themselves by seeking joy and peace first, and then trusting afterwards! That is to put the cart before the horse. It is the old error of relying upon the strength of one's own resolves instead of looking first to the Holy Spirit. But mark the divine order, through believing, joy and peace come. A simple trust in Christ, that is the ground of it. I know I trust Christ, and therefore I have peace; and when every other comfort seems empty, the Holy Spirit proves a rich comfort unto my soul and fills my poor heart with peace and joy in believing.

Yet we must not grieve the Holy Spirit by our unbelief, for unbelief is a cruel thorn in the side of our Comforter. The Holy Spirit, who condescends to make His palace in these little narrow hearts, is exceedingly grieved when we will not take God at His word. How can we be filled while we cherish that which displeases Him? Ask yourself whether you have truly received the Holy Spirit since you believed, for it is by the Spirit we are begotten again unto a lively hope. The Spirit takes of the things of Christ, His engagements to save, His finished work, His sufficiency, and shows them to us. When the Spirit glorifies Christ to your heart, joy and peace spring up like a well of water.

Pray then, and pray in the Holy Spirit, who helps our infirmities. There is no rubric for acceptable prayer but this, "in the Holy Spirit." Cry mightily to Him to take away the spirit of heaviness and to make you overflow with confident hope. Steady is that flame of joy which burns in the tabernacles of the righteous, for it is fed with holy oil from the Spirit of God. If you are full of care and distraction, receive the Spirit of consolation and be glad in the Lord, for the joy of the Lord is your strength. And remember, this joy is contagious; it adorns your household and blesses the whole Church. May the God of hope grant you this word, that by His power you go forth with a heart singing unto Jesus.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You quote Romans 15:13, longing to be filled with joy and peace and to overflow with hope. This is a good desire. But consider carefully the ground of that hope and the nature of that peace. The joy and peace of which the Apostle speaks are not idle feelings stirred up by wishing, nor are they a blessing to be spread indiscriminately over every path a person chooses. They are the fruit of the Holy Spirit, given to those who trust in God, and that trust is shown by walking in His ways. The peace Christ gives is not the world's peace, which often means nothing more than a truce with sin. His first word to the disciples after the Resurrection was "Peace be unto you," a peace purchased by the Cross, given to counterbalance their war with the world. But this peace is inseparable from righteousness. The Kingdom of God is not meat and drink, not the satisfaction of earthly longings or the smoothing over of a troubled conscience; it is righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

If the joy you seek is to be the joy of the Holy Ghost, then the situation must be one the Holy Ghost can bless. The Spirit is the Spirit of holiness. He does not bedew a furnace of temptation with comfort so that we may remain in the fire, but strengthens us to walk out of it. The affliction Paul endured produced joy not because his sufferings were pleasant, but because he suffered for Christ's sake. The Three Children were refreshed in the flames, yet they did not bow to the idol. The dew came because they stood firm, not because they asked God to bless their compromise. So examine the relationship or situation that prompts this prayer. Does it conform to the pattern of life Christ has given, the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman within marriage, where the gift of physical union rightfully belongs? If not, you are seeking the fruit of the Spirit on terms the Spirit has not set. That is to trust in uncertain riches, a hope that will fail.

Peace with God comes through a cleansed conscience. The man who struggles with poverty and rags, yet has a good conscience, is of better spirits than the king who lives sumptuously in sin. Ahab sat on a throne, but one sin made him wretched. True joy is not the relaxation of God's commands, but the gladness of a heart aligned with them. By all means, pray for joy and peace and confident hope. Pray that the God of hope would fill you. But let that prayer be matched with a resolution to follow holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord. The Spirit is drawn to good works, and flees from wickedness. Let your song be the Psalm of a life obedient to Christ, and you will find the hope that does not put to shame, because the love of God is shed abroad in your heart by the Holy Ghost who is given to you.
