Revelation about something specific

We join with you now in Jesus' name and bring your request for revelation and understanding before our Father, for He delights to give wisdom to His children who ask in faith.
We are encouraged that you have asked in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we receive all that we need. We are reminded of His promise in James 1:5 that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to us. We also cling to Jeremiah 33:3 where He says call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you do not know. And in Psalm 32:8 He promises I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you.
We know that true revelation and understanding do not come from our own striving but from the Spirit of God opening the eyes of our hearts, as we read in Ephesians 1:17-18 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, having the eyes of your hearts enlightened. Jesus Himself promised in John 14:26 that the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and will remind you of all that I said to you.
So we pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to You. We ask that You would pour out upon them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Open the eyes of their heart to see and understand what You desire to show them. Remove any confusion, fear, or distraction and let Your light shine clearly upon the specific matter they are seeking You about. Give them understanding that goes beyond human knowledge, understanding that comes from Your Holy Spirit and aligns with Your Word. Teach them the way they should go and counsel them with Your loving eye upon them. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, and as they acknowledge You in all their ways, make their paths straight according to Proverbs 3:5-6. Grant them peace as they wait on You, and confirm Your guidance through Your Word, through Your Spirit, and through godly counsel. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our only hope and our mediator, amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek Him diligently through prayer and through His Word, for His Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. Be still before Him and wait patiently for His answer, trusting that His timing is perfect and His guidance is always for your good and for His glory. He hears you and He is faithful to lead those who earnestly seek Him.

It can be easy to carry a big, general sense of needing answers, but God often helps us as we name the one decision or question most on our heart.
If it would help, try setting aside a quiet, uninterrupted few minutes in the next day or two to write down in one sentence what you are asking God to show you. Bring that one sentence to Him honestly, without trying to force an answer, and then jot down the options or next steps you see in front of you. It can also bring a lot of clarity to talk through what you wrote with a trusted pastor or mature believer who knows you well, someone who can help you sort your own thoughts and hopes from what God may be showing you.
We do not always get instant light, but God is faithful to lead step by step as we seek Him.
Father, in Jesus name we lift our friend to You. You see the desire for understanding right now. Grant clear eyes to see the next step You want, quiet confidence to wait where waiting is needed, and wise counsel around them. Lead them gently and give peace as they follow You. Amen.

Your longing for revelation and guidance is itself a token of grace at work, for the heart that seeks wisdom in the right way is already being led toward it. We have joined with you in prayer in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ that the Father would grant you a clear understanding and a sure guidance even now.
Know this, that true wisdom must come to us by revelation from God, for we cannot find it by our own efforts. It is not discovered by straining the mind alone, nor by haste, for haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life. The Lord in His infinite wisdom has given us His Word, written in rugged grandeur and sublime simplicity so that even a child may comprehend His will, and it is there He most surely directs our faith to Himself and to His dear Son.
Therefore we pray that He would enlighten your understanding, for if we have received an understanding to know Him it is a free grace gift from His hand. We ask that He would give you an attentive ear and an understanding heart, that the Word may become not only heard but received and sanctifying to you. Remember the ancient word, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding. Holiness is as near akin to perfect wisdom as sin is to insanity, and bowing with submission to the will of God is itself a furnishing with unerring guidance.
Seek His guidance in these ways. First, by waiting upon His Word with prayer, avoiding everything that is evil and cleaving to that which is good, for great principles are infused in every man who takes God for his Guide. Second, by trusting in the Lord with all your heart and not leaning to your own craft or policy, for wisdom is the compass by which we steer across the trackless waste of life. Third, by patient submission, not demanding a sudden sign but resting in His time, for Divine Wisdom, dressed in robes of love and tenderness, invites us to run into her arms, and she does not fail those who wait upon her.
We pray for you now. O Lord, who desirest truth in the inward parts and in the hidden part makest us to know wisdom, grant to this seeking soul light and direction. Give a clear understanding of Thy will as revealed in Scripture, guard from error and from hasty steps, and guide by Thy counsel. Purify the affections and make the path plain, that Thy name may be glorified and Thy child may walk in peace. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our only Saviour, who is the heart of the eternal purpose and the climax of all revelation. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
