Revelation about something specific

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus name for revelation and guidance will be given to me now
Please pray I have more understanding....

We join with you in seeking the Lord for revelation and understanding, and we thank you for asking in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we receive all wisdom and guidance.

We understand your deep desire to have clarity now, and we know that God delights to give wisdom to His children who ask Him. Scripture assures us, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5. We also cling to the promise, Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you do not know. Jeremiah 33:3.

God does not leave us to wander without direction. His Word is a lamp to our feet and a light for our path. Psalm 119:105, and we are told to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. True revelation and understanding come not from our own striving but from the Holy Spirit, for it is written, But as it is written, Things which an eye didn’t see, and an ear didn’t hear, which didn’t enter into the heart of man, these God has prepared for those who love him. But to us God revealed them through the Spirit, for the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him diligently through prayer and through His Word, waiting patiently for His timing while trusting that He hears you. Sometimes God gives immediate clarity, and sometimes He guides us step by step as we walk in obedience. We pray that you will have a humble and teachable heart to receive whatever He shows you and the courage to obey it.

We pray together for you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace on behalf of our dear one who is seeking revelation and guidance. Lord, we ask that You pour out the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of understanding may be enlightened. Ephesians 1:17-18. Grant clarity where there is confusion, peace where there is anxiety, and discernment to know Your will. Help our friend to hear Your still small voice and to recognize Your leading through Your Word and Your Spirit. Give understanding that goes beyond human knowledge and lead each step according to Your perfect plan. We trust that You who began a good work will be faithful to guide and to reveal all that is needed in Your perfect timing. We ask this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We hear how much you want clear understanding right now, and how sincerely you are asking God to show you the way forward. We have been praying for you, that the Lord would give you wisdom and peace as you seek Him.

Waiting for revelation can feel heavy, especially when you want an answer right away. We have found that God often guides us step by step as we stay close to Him in prayer, and part of discerning His leading is learning to quiet other voices and pressures so we can better recognize His.

One simple thing that may help in the next few days is to write down in one or two sentences the specific question you are bringing to God. Keep it before Him in a quiet, unhurried time of prayer, and notice what brings a settled sense of peace and aligns with how He has led you before. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer, sharing that written question with them can also bring helpful clarity.

Father, we bring this dear one to You in Jesus' name. You know the specific matter on their heart and their desire to understand. Please grant clear guidance, quiet any confusion, and give wisdom for the next step. Help them to sense Your nearness and to trust Your faithful leading. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your prayer for revelation and guidance and for a clearer understanding, and we take it as a gracious sign that you desire to be led aright. The heart that asks to be guided has already felt the work of grace within, for by nature we do not love to be guided, but grace dethrones obstinacy and gives in its place acquiescence in the divine will, and by that very submission we are furnished with unerring guidance.

Be assured of this, that true wisdom and true understanding must come to us by revelation from God, for we cannot find it by our own efforts. A grain of divine grace is worth more than a ton of knowledge, and the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding. It is not due to any natural intelligence that we possess, for we were by nature blind as bats to the things of divine truth, but grace comes and enlightens the understanding, influences the will, and changes the affections. The Lord has written to us His divine message in the rugged grandeur and sublime simplicity of Scripture which even a child can comprehend, and the revelation He has made directs our faith to Himself and to His dear Son. Therefore seek your guidance there, in the Word, with prayer and a holy submission to His counsel, for He has promised, Thou shalt guide me with Thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

Take heed also against haste, for haste is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life. Holiness is as near akin to perfect wisdom as sin is to insanity, and the soul that waits upon the Lord in quiet trust shall not be put to confusion. Divine wisdom, dressed in robes of love and tenderness, invites you to run into her arms, and at the right moment the Lord will bring forth some new and surprising stroke of wisdom which He did but postpone to the particular moment, so that the praise may the more fully redound to His name.

We join our prayers to yours in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father.

O Lord our God, look upon this seeking soul who asks for light. Grant not a fleeting fancy nor the voice of self will, but true revelation by Thy Spirit through Thy Word. Give a clear understanding of divine truth, that it may not rest in the mind alone but become a sanctifying word received into the heart, leading to repentance, to holiness, and to a steadfast trust in Christ. Guide with Thy counsel, keep from the paths of error and from hasty steps, and make Thy will plain. Give wisdom liberally to them that ask in faith, and let Thy grace be their compass across the trackless waste of life. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
