Healed Spirit Soul And Body

[Chrysostom]

We join you in prayer and bring your needs before the Lord.

We ask Him to grant you true rest in this season of heat, not only rest for the body in sleep and coolness, but rest for your soul. Jesus Himself said, Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls, for my yoke is easy and my burden is light. May He quiet your heart, guard your health, and give you refreshing sleep and strength each day.

We pray for safety for your loved ones as they travel soon. May the Lord watch over their going out and coming in, keep them from harm, and bring them to their destination in peace.

We also lift up your requests for justice, blessing, favor, healing and protection, and for open doors. We ask God to work according to His good and perfect will, to show His mercy and power, to heal where there is sickness, to provide where there is need, and to open the doors that He would have opened for His glory and your good. May you trust His Word which is living and powerful to discern our hearts and to lead us in His ways, and may patience and hope grow in you as you wait on Him.

We commit all these things to Jesus, our only Savior and Lord, asking for His grace to be sufficient for you in every trial and every season of rest. Amen.
