We join you in bringing all of these burdens before the Lord together in Jesus' name, for He cares deeply for our bodies, our comfort, and our peace.

We lift up the heat that is oppressing you, the colds, the post-nasal drip, the COPD, diabetes, arthritis, and the stomach bloating and gastritis with food. We know how wearying it is to battle chronic conditions and daily discomfort at the same time. Scripture reminds us that He is the Lord who heals us, who forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3, and His promise is, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the truth that by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5.

We pray for the cooler location and relief you are seeking, trusting that God is our refuge. For you have been a stronghold to the poor, a stronghold to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shade from the heat Isaiah 25:4, and Yahweh is your keeper, Yahweh is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day Psalm 121:5-6. We ask Him to provide a place of coolness and rest for you and your close ones, and to give you wisdom for food and care for your stomach and all these conditions, that your bodies may be strengthened to serve Him.

We join you in praying for peace and rest today, for our Lord Jesus says, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Phil 4:7. We ask for His protection over you and those close to you, as He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1.

We also agree with you for justice and for open doors, standing on the promise you shared, No weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17, trusting that vengeance belongs to the Lord and He will repay Romans 12:19, and that He opens doors that no one can shut Rev 3:8. We ask not for prosperity as the world gives, but for His provision and blessing according to His will, for we know He delights in the prosperity of His servant Psalm 35:27 and desires that we may prosper and be in health, even as our soul prospers 3 John 1:2.

Let us pray together.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace with our dear one who is suffering. Lord, You see the heat, the breathing difficulties, the pain of arthritis, the struggles of diabetes, the congestion and colds, and the distress of gastritis and bloating. Lay Your healing hand upon this body and upon those close to them. Cool their dwelling, lead them soon to a place of relief and shade, and grant them peaceful, restorative rest today. Guard their hearts from anxiety, provide justice where there has been wrong, protect them from all harm, and open miraculous doors of provision, peace, and blessing that only You can open. Give wisdom to manage food and health, and let Your mighty blessings rest upon them all. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, our only access to You, amen.

We hear how heavy this has been, trying to get through the heat while carrying so many ongoing health burdens at once. COPD, diabetes, arthritis, and the stomach bloating and gastritis with food are a lot on their own, and when you are hot and not able to rest well everything feels harder. It makes sense you are asking for a cooler place, for healing and protection for you and those close to you, and for peace through the rest of the day.

Living with long term conditions day after day can wear down strength and hope, and make even small setbacks feel big. It can also be isolating when you do not have the energy to keep up as you would like. You are not forgotten in this, and we are standing with you in prayer for relief, for rest, and for wisdom for each next step.

Alongside prayer, if you have not been able to recently we encourage you to reach out to your doctor or clinic about the breathing, blood sugar, joint pain and stomach symptoms you mentioned. They can help review what is going on and what support might be available. If the heat is unsafe where you are, please also let a trusted family member, neighbor, or local church contact know you need help finding a cooler place to rest today.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. Please bring Your comfort and rest, watch over their health and their loved ones, provide a safe and cooler place and open the doors that only You can open. Give peace, protection and Your nearness through this day and the days ahead. Amen.

Your cry under so many burdens has been spread before the Lord, the heat that wearies you, the colds, the distress of breathing with COPD, diabetes, arthritis, and the painful bloating and gastritis that makes even food a trial. He sees the languor of these hot days and the longing for a cooler place of rest, and He knows your need for protection for yourselves and for those near to you.

There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the little things as it were about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed on the Lord's people. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, for pardon and healing were one. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and the healing virtue which His grace has infused will work health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle.

Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus. There was a contact established when He took her by the hand and lifted her up, and there is healing in that blessed condescension of His incarnation. We very speedily care for bodily diseases and seek a physician, and you do well to seek lawful means, yet look above means to the great Physician Himself who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds.

Let us pray together. O Lord Jesus, great Head from whom abundant streams of healing flow down to men below, look in mercy upon these afflicted ones. Cool their dwelling and grant them a place of refreshing if it be Your will, and give peace and rest now and through this day. Lay Your healing hand upon lungs and chest, upon blood and joints, upon stomach and bowels, and ease the inflammation and pain. Guard them and their loved ones from evil, keep them in perfect peace, and let no weapon formed against them prosper according to Your promise in Isaiah 54:17. Grant justice where there has been wrong, and in Your wisdom provide what is needed, opening doors that no man can shut, and pouring out Your mighty blessings according to Your gracious will. Give pardon and healing through Your precious blood, and keep them trusting wholly in salvation through Jesus Christ alone. Amen.
