Rest well with swollen feet

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Lord please heal Jesus and fight for your beloveds, help to rest well and grant us mighty justice and miracle open doors asap with your divine connections, heal to swelling feet amen

We hear your cry for healing and rest, and we join you in lifting this burden before the Lord. Swollen feet can be a sign of deeper physical struggles, and we pray for your complete healing in Jesus’ name. The Bible tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that God is your healer and restorer.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking for Your divine touch upon this beloved one. Lord, You see the weariness and discomfort they are enduring. We ask that You bring relief to their swollen feet, that inflammation would subside, and that their body would be strengthened. Grant them deep and restorative rest, for You give sleep to those You love (Psalm 127:2). Fight for them, Lord, as You have promised in Exodus 14:14, "Yahweh will fight for you, and you shall be still."

We also pray for the "mighty justice" and "miracle open doors" you mentioned. Lord, we know that You are a God of justice (Isaiah 30:18) and that You open doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). We ask that You would move in power, connecting them with the right people, opportunities, and resources to bring about Your divine purpose in their life. Let every closed door be opened by Your hand, and let every obstacle be removed in Jesus’ name.

However, we must gently remind you that our prayers and petitions must always be grounded in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father (John 14:6). It is through His sacrifice and resurrection that we have access to God’s throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." Salvation is the first and greatest miracle, and it opens the door to all of God’s blessings.

We also want to encourage you to seek wise medical counsel if you haven’t already. While we believe in God’s power to heal miraculously, we also know that He often works through doctors, medicine, and practical steps. Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith, believing in Your power to heal and restore. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon this dear one’s swollen feet. Bring relief, reduce the swelling, and strengthen their body according to Your will. Grant them deep and peaceful rest, knowing that You are their refuge and strength. Father, we also pray for open doors of opportunity, divine connections, and justice in every area of their life. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified in all things.

We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Continue to stand on God’s promises, beloved. Trust in His timing and His perfect plan for your life. We are believing with you for a breakthrough!

We hear you, swollen feet can be so uncomfortable, and when rest feels out of reach, everything else feels heavier too. Thank you for letting us stand with you in this.

While we pray, it’s also wise to care for our bodies as the good gifts they are. If the swelling persists or is new, we’d gently encourage you to let a doctor take a look. That’s not a lack of faith; it’s a step of practical wisdom while we wait on God to work.

We’re also holding with you those deeper hopes you named: for justice to break through, for doors to open, and for the kind of connections only God can arrange. That kind of waiting can wear down the spirit, so we ask for his peace to guard your heart even in the meantime.

Lord Jesus, you see these tired, swollen feet, and you see the soul behind them. Please bring relief and the deep rest the body needs to heal. Quiet the mind that races with anxiety about what’s next. We lift up every situation where justice is overdue and every opportunity that feels blocked. You are the one who makes paths where we see none; open the right doors in your perfect way and time. Surround our friend with reminders of your care tonight, and let sleep be sweet. We trust you. Amen.

You lie still in the dark, but stillness brings no ease. The throbbing in your feet keeps time with your anxious thoughts, and the hours pass heavy as loaded wagons. You have asked the Lord for rest, for healing, for open doors and the justice that tarries; and you wonder if He hears, if your prayer has done more than beat against the ceiling. It has. He catches every sigh in His bottle, and no tear of His beloved falls unnoticed. The very feet that ache tonight are known to Him, for He made them, and He bore nails through His own to purchase your peace.

Come near and listen. The same voice that stilled the Galilean storm speaks over you now: “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” He does not say, “Come when your feet are well” or “Come when the doors have opened.” He calls the weary right in the thick of it, while the swelling has not yet subsided and the way ahead seems bolted shut. His rest is not a mere pause between troubles, but a deep, steady calm in the midst of them, a river of peace flowing from the throne, with trees on either side whose leaves are for healing. You may not see those leaves yet, but their medicine is already working in your soul.

Think for a moment of your feet and His. The Lord Jesus, on the night He was betrayed, knelt down with a towel and a basin and washed the feet of His disciples. Those same feet that would stumble, that would run from Him in fear, that would walk dusty roads of failure, He handled them with unhurried tenderness. He does not despise your swollen feet, nor the body that feels so much its own frailty. He is the beloved Physician, and His touch is gentle beyond measure. He knows that physical pain can weigh down the spirit until faith itself feels lame. So He comes to you, not with a lecture, but with His own presence: the same hands that were pierced hold you up when you think you cannot stand another hour.

And what of the doors that refuse to swing open, the justice that seems slow and deaf? The Lamb of God is also the Lion of Judah, and He has never lost a case. He fights for His own, often in ways that heaven alone records. When you cry for justice, you are asking for something deeply dear to His heart, for He loves righteousness and will not let His children be plundered forever. The open doors you seek are on His timetable, not yours, but they are real doors, with real thresholds, and they will open just when they are needed, and not a moment late. While you wait, He gives you something better than swift answers: He gives you Himself, stretched out beside you in the watch of the night.

Put your swollen feet, and all the burdens that pulse with them, down at His feet. It is a becoming posture, and a helpful one. From that low place, you see most clearly how high His throne is, and how low His mercy stoops. Burdens laid there stay there. He does not pick them up and hand them back when you rise; He keeps them, and He keeps you. You may still feel the ache in your body, but your soul can rest so deeply that even pain becomes a fading murmur beneath the lullaby of His love.

Let me commend you to Him now in prayer.

O Lord Jesus, You who take the lambs in Your arms and carry them in Your bosom, look upon Your child who lies awake with weary feet and a heart full of longing. Speak the word that stills the tempest and quiets the throbbing; send Your healing virtue through every vein and limb; and grant the sweet sleep that comes from trusting in You. Fight for this dear one where no human eye can trace the battle, and fling wide the doors that seem immoveable. You are the key that fits every lock, the advocate who never loses a case. Give rest tonight, rest of body, rest of mind, and that deeper rest of soul which is found nowhere but in Your wounds. In Your name, Amen.

The prayer for swollen feet and swift miracles must first consider the greater swelling within the soul. Before seeking open doors and divine connections, examine whether your own life opens wide the door to Christ or to the trampling of His pearls. He who lives in unrepented sin, whether anger or impurity, asks amiss; for a natural man, corrupted by such thorns, cannot receive the things of the Spirit. Root out those thorns, and then the good seed of healing and justice may fall on fertile ground.

Do not fret over the night or the aching body as those without hope. The faithful have no occasion for anxious sadness when evening comes, nor fear of robbers, because their treasure is stored in heaven and their conscience is clear before God. True rest is not found in a painless body but in a soul that has ceased fighting against Him and has reconciled with any brother estranged. Seek that peace first, and then your sleep will be sweet, even if the feet still ache.

The justice you cry for and the open doors you demand “asap” are not summoned by impatience but received by those who are doers of the Word, not hearers only. If you teach yourself to trust in His timing and in the divine communication of the Spirit, you will see that He already fights for His beloved. But let no one who continues to tread underfoot the least of His commandments expect to handle the pearl of immediate deliverance without true reverence. Repent, love mercy, walk humbly, and then behold: the Lord will heal the swelling and grant you rest that surpasses all physical ease.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
