Request for the betterment of my health.

Disciple of Prayer
I request all brothers and sisters to pray for my health where my blood pressure rises even with medication. Moreover I feel stressed almost every day.Lord please help me.Amen

We join with you in bringing your health before the Lord and we thank you for asking your brothers and sisters to pray with you. We hear your burden about your blood pressure remaining high even with medication and the stress you feel almost every day, and we want to lift you up together in Jesus' name.

The Lord cares deeply about both your body and your spirit. Scripture reminds us that He is our healer and our peace. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And 3 John 1:2 says, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. Your body is precious to God, for 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 teaches that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, so we pray not only for healing but for wisdom to steward your health well.

We also hear how heavy the daily stress has become. God does not want you to carry this alone. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. 1 Peter 5:7 also says, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And Jesus Himself invites us in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.

We want to gently encourage you that while you called upon the Lord, you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your request. We share this in love because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To come to God we must believe that Jesus died for our sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Savior, for then your prayers are heard through Him.

We also encourage you to continue faithfully with the medication and counsel your doctors have given you, as God often works through the wisdom He has given to physicians, and to seek ways to care for your body with rest, gentle exercise as you are able, and time in prayer and the Word each day to quiet your heart. Proverbs 17:22 reminds us that A cheerful heart makes good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones, so we pray the Lord will lift your spirit even as He touches your body.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother or sister to Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the struggle with high blood pressure and the daily stress and anxiety that weighs so heavily. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon this body. We pray You would guide the doctors, make the medication effective, and bring this blood pressure into a healthy and stable range. We pray against fear and stress and ask for Your perfect peace to guard this heart and mind. Help our sibling to cast every care upon You and to find rest in You. Isaiah 41:10 says, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Fulfill that promise in this life, Lord. Strengthen faith, bring comfort in sleep, and renew health day by day. We ask that above all, this dear one would know the assurance of salvation through Jesus and the nearness of Your presence. We pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about this. Living with blood pressure that stays high even while you are taking medication is worrisome, and feeling stressed almost every day can wear down your strength and your hope. We hear how heavy this has been and we are glad you reached out.

We are joining you in prayer for your health and for more peace in your daily life, and we also want to encourage you to stay closely connected to your medical care. Since your pressure is still rising despite medication, please reach out promptly to your doctor or clinic to let them know what you are experiencing, including the daily stress you mentioned, so they can guide your next steps. It can help to bring a short note of what you have been noticing to share with them.

Stress touches every part of us, body, mind and spirit, so it makes sense that when stress feels constant your body feels it too. You are not alone in this and God sees both the physical strain and the burden you carry inside. We will keep asking Him for wisdom for you and for those caring for you, and for His steady presence to be near to you day by day.

Father, we lift our brother to You and ask for Your care over his body and mind. Give him wisdom as he seeks help, provide clear direction for his doctors, and bring calm and rest when stress rises. Let him know in a real way that You are with him and that You hear his prayers. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

Its well that you reached out to us in prayer. Consistently seeking the Lord and praying is a great way to experience his peace. May he bless all who pray. In Lord Yeshuas name. Amen.

Your request concerning your health has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with you, entreating Him on your behalf.

We understand the trial of a body that remains unquiet even when means have been used, and of a spirit pressed with stress day after day. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they rightly urge us to seek the physician, and we encourage you to continue under the care appointed for you while you look above all to the Great Physician Himself.

There is a word which we would set before you for your comfort, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This peace is not a distant hope only, but a present possession to be enjoyed even in the ordinary circumstances of life. As one has sung, the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace may gleam with a heavenly light even in the midnight of this world of care. It is that touch of personal faith which brings peace to the soul, for if you will not trust God, neither shall you have peace, but when the mind is stayed upon Him, He keeps that soul in peace, peace.

We would also gently remind you that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. To tell your trouble to yourself alone brings no good, but to tell it unto the Lord, to bear your sorrow with Him, is to find rest. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. Cast your care upon Him, for He cares for you, and learn to leave your health, your days, your pressures in His hands, whose chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed.

Scripture speaks of the leaves of the tree which were for the healing of the nations, and we are taught thereby that the least thing about Christ is healing. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but even His leaves are full of healing virtue. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and from Him abundant streams of healing flow down to men below. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.

Therefore we pray with you and for you, that the Lord would grant you healing according to His wise and gracious will, that He would steady your heart and calm your spirit, that He would give skill to those who care for your body, and that He would cause your blood pressure to be settled and your mind to be stayed upon Christ. May He lift from you the burden of daily stress and give you that deep and profound peace which passes all understanding, springing from the perfect remission of sin through the precious blood of His Son. May you know pardon and healing in happy conjunction, for when Jesus forgives, He also heals, and when He dwells with His people, they need not sorrow as those without hope.

We commend you to Him who has vanquished death and all its powers and who will keep you in perfect peace as you trust in Him. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His face to shine upon you and give you peace, and may you prove in body and soul that His grace is sufficient for you.

We will continue to pray that the Lord will sustain you, quiet your heart, and restore you to strength for His glory. Amen.
