Beloved Warrior
🙇🏻Turns to God Acts 3:19, Washing and Renewal by The Holy Spirit, Tit 3:3-8 👁️👁 Opened by 💡 of God's 📖 2 Cor 4:4-6, Repents of being own god choosing good and evil for herself apart from God's Word, Gen 3:1-15 (It's not working well for her)... New 💝 Ezek 36:26 Experiences New Birth Jesus said is a necessity, Jn 3:3-7... Father, You will that none would perish but all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9. Grant her wisdom and revelation to actually know You, Eph 1:17. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of The Holy one is understanding, Prov 9:10. Surely You take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather they turn from their evil ways and live, Ezek 33:11... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

We ask for grace and discipline to add fasting, Mk 4:29, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member learn to fear God all the day long, Prov 23:17, get saved herself, and witness to truth, 1 Tim 4:16. Forgive this one who has broken covenantal faith and vows with no remorse or repentance, for leading men into adultery and thus destruction, Prov 6:32, for neglecting pastoral counsel, texts and phone calls for months. If a king's heart is as channels of water in Your hand, Prov 21:1, how much more an individual that has chosen to feed on raisin cakes and needs repentance from serious sins, which Hosea's "deal with her" was based on repentance, see Hos 3:1-5. As this one is unwilling to reconcile, wants divorce, says we are done and though I've reached out, prayed and fasted, is still as unwilling to return a text, much less return to me as most of Jerusalem was unwilling to gather under the wings of God Almighty or come to Jesus, over which He publicly wept, they having stoned those sent to rescue them, Matt 23:37... Thankfully she is in a country that is impossible to get a divorce. I know I have the adultery clause from Jesus which allows me to divorce and remarry, Matt 5:32, Matt 19:9, however only in The Lord, 1 Cor 7:39, see being equally yoked, 2 Cor 6:14-15, Old Testament precedent, Gen 24:3-4. And is she is unsaved, which everything indicates, there is the desertion by an unbelieving spouse clause, 1 Cor 7:15, where traditional, modern and ancient Jewish theology all allow for remarriage as if the unbelieving spouse (or adulteress) "were dead." However I am thinking and asking for repentance and salvation here, 2 Peter 3:9, 1 Tim 2:1-4, and ask that THAT may yield a remarkable testimony of God's saving grace, 1 Tim 1:15-16, and exemplify Christ and The Church, Eph 5:32-33. So I again ask for wisdom, Prov 2:1-5, Col 1:9-10, James 1:5, and for love to abound in knowledge and discernment to choose the highest, Phil 1:9-11, yet asking for it loosely as CHRIST in the Garden of Gethsemane, Matt 26:39, Mk 14:36, Luke 22:42 -- Your will be done, Heb 5:7.

Soften her heart and protect her (also the youth, and all of us that actually ask God to save her so the little ones do not stumble, Mt 18:16, Mk 9:42, Lk 17:2), keep her from temptation and evil, Matt 6:13. Let LIGHT SHINE that penetrates darkness, Jn 1:5, 1 Jn 1:5, 2 Cor 4:4, 2 Cor 4:6, to open their eyes, turning this one from the power of darkness to light, and power of satan to God, that they may partake of the inheritance along with all who are sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ, Acts 26:18, 1 Cor 1:30. Help her, them (and all of us) use our "Bible Apps" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life, Jn 1:12, James 1:22-23. Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most near and dear and beyond and blinded -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in The Name of Jesus, The One Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5, in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
"But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, "Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless one is born again," Jn 3:3, "Do not be amazed that I said, 'You must be born again,'" John 3:7.

We hear your heartbreak, your longing for redemption, and your deep desire for this marriage to reflect the sacred covenant God designed it to be. Your plea is not just for restoration of a relationship, but for the salvation of a soul, one that has wandered far from the Lord’s ways and hardened itself against His grace. We stand with you in this spiritual battle, lifting up this situation before the throne of God, where mercy and justice meet.

First, we must address the gravity of the sin that has taken root here. The Bible is clear: adultery is a grievous violation of the marriage covenant, a betrayal not only of the spouse but of God Himself, who joins a man and woman as one flesh (Matthew 19:4-6). The one who commits adultery "destroys his own soul" (Proverbs 6:32) and invites destruction into their life. Yet even in this, we do not despair, for our God is a God of redemption. He does not delight in the death of the wicked but calls them to repentance (Ezekiel 33:11). We rebuke the spirit of hardness and rebellion that has taken hold, declaring in Jesus’ name that no heart is too hard for the Lord to soften. "I will remove the heart of stone from their flesh and give them a heart of flesh" (Ezekiel 36:26). Let this promise be fulfilled in her life.

You have rightly identified that the root issue here is not merely marital unfaithfulness but a deeper rebellion against God’s authority. The choice to "be like God, knowing good and evil" (Genesis 3:5) is the same sin that led to the Fall, and it manifests today in the refusal to submit to God’s Word, to repent, and to walk in His ways. This is not just a personal failing but a spiritual deception. The god of this world has blinded her mind (2 Corinthians 4:4), and only the light of Christ can pierce that darkness. We pray that her eyes would be opened, that she would see the futility of her ways, and that the Holy Spirit would convict her of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Lord, break the chains of pride and self-sufficiency that keep her from turning to You.

We also lift up your own heart in this trial. It is a heavy burden to love someone who has broken covenant with you and with God, yet your commitment to pray, fast, and seek wisdom is a testament to your faith. You are walking in the footsteps of Christ, who wept over Jerusalem’s hardness of heart (Matthew 23:37) and prayed, "Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34). Your desire for her salvation, rather than mere retribution, reflects the heart of God, who is "not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). We pray that you would be strengthened in this season, that your love would abound in knowledge and discernment (Philippians 1:9), and that you would have the wisdom to know how to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord (Colossians 1:10).

The Scriptures provide clear guidance for your situation. Jesus Himself addressed the issue of adultery and divorce, stating that while divorce is permitted in cases of sexual immorality (Matthew 19:9), the greater desire is for reconciliation and redemption. The apostle Paul also speaks to marriages where one spouse is an unbeliever, urging believers not to divorce but to remain in the hope that the unbelieving spouse may be saved (1 Corinthians 7:12-16). However, if the unbelieving spouse departs, the believer is "not under bondage" (1 Corinthians 7:15). This is a matter of prayerful discernment, and we join you in asking the Lord for clarity. Is this a season to stand firm in faith, trusting God to soften her heart? Or has the time come to acknowledge that the marriage covenant has been irreparably broken, freeing you to walk in the newness of life God has for you? We pray for divine wisdom, that you would know the Lord’s will and have the courage to follow it, whether that means waiting in hope or moving forward in faith.

We must also address the reality of spiritual warfare in this situation. The enemy seeks to destroy marriages, families, and souls, and he will use every tool at his disposal, deception, hardness of heart, and even well-meaning but misguided counsel, to achieve his purposes. We rebuke every lying spirit that whispers despair, bitterness, or unforgiveness into your heart. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We also rebuke the spirit of rebellion that has taken hold of your spouse, declaring that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11).

Let us pray now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage and the souls involved. Lord, You see the hardness of heart, the broken covenants, and the pain that has resulted. Yet we know that nothing is too hard for You, and no heart is beyond Your reach. We ask that You would soften this one’s heart, that she would turn from her ways and seek You with all her heart. Break the chains of deception, Lord, and let Your light shine into the darkness of her soul. We pray for a miraculous work of Your Spirit, that she would be born again, not of flesh but of the Spirit (John 3:3-7), and that she would experience the new heart and new spirit You promise in Ezekiel 36:26.

Father, we also lift up [your name], who has remained faithful in prayer and seeking Your will. Strengthen him in this season, Lord. Give him wisdom to know how to proceed, whether to wait in hope or to walk forward in faith. Guard his heart from bitterness, resentment, or despair, and fill him with Your peace and joy. Let his life be a testimony to Your faithfulness, even in the midst of trial.

We pray for the family members involved, that they would not stumble because of this situation but would instead see the power of Your grace at work. Raise up godly influences in her life, people who will speak truth in love and point her to Christ. We ask that You would protect the youth from the fallout of this broken covenant and that they would come to know You as their Savior and Lord.

Lord, we know that You desire all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth (1 Timothy 2:4). We hold fast to that promise, believing that You are able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Whether through restoration or redemption in another form, we trust that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28). Let Your will be done, Lord, and let Your name be glorified in this situation.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who reconciles us to God and to one another. It is only through His blood that we have access to You, Father, and it is only by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12). May Your kingdom come and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Amen.

In the days ahead, continue to seek the Lord in prayer and fasting, for these are powerful weapons in the spiritual battle you are facing. Surround yourself with godly counsel, those who will speak truth into your life and hold you accountable to walk in a manner worthy of the gospel. Remember that your identity is not defined by this trial but by your relationship with Christ. You are His beloved child, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).

If the Lord leads you to stand firm in this marriage, do so with hope, trusting that He is able to restore what has been broken. If He leads you to move forward, do so with faith, knowing that He has a future and a hope for you (Jeremiah 29:11). Either way, walk in obedience to His Word, and let your life be a testimony to His grace. The world needs to see marriages that reflect Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:32), and even in this pain, God can use your story for His glory.

We can hear the ache in your words, the weight of loving someone who has turned away, the long nights of prayer and fasting while silence is the only answer. When a marriage unravels like this, it really does feel like a death. That isn’t weakness or lack of faith; it’s the honest grief of losing what was meant to be a lifelong union. Let yourself feel that, without guilt. The process of healing, whether or not she ever returns, takes years, and the first step is simply naming the loss.

We respect the way you keep lifting her soul before God, not just the marriage. That desire for her salvation is a reflection of the Father’s own heart, and we join you in asking for that miracle. At the same time, carrying this alone can hollow you out. We’d encourage you to find one or two steady, prayerful brothers you can be completely real with, people who will listen, not just offer quick answers. Isolation deepens the pain; trusted companionship makes the waiting bearable.

Keep entrusting her to the One who is mighty to save, even when everything visible says no. And let the same tender care you’re extending toward her also rest on your own soul.

Jesus, we lift up this wife to You, asking for the new heart and new birth only Your Spirit can bring. Open her eyes to see her need of You, and soften what has grown hard. For this husband, grant wisdom about each next step, and steady his hope so that he does not grow weary. Surround him with brothers who will weep and pray alongside him. Sustain him in the grief, and let Your presence be his daily portion. We trust You with whatever lies ahead, and we ask all this in Your name. Amen.

The anguish of your soul breathes through every line, and it is right that you should cry out to God with such fervent pleading. I perceive your heart yearns for the salvation of one who has wandered far into the wilderness of sin, and you long to see the miracle of a stony heart transformed. Your grasp of the Scriptures is a lamp unto your feet in this dark valley, yet take heed lest the very knowledge puff up the spirit with despair, for the battle is not yours but the Lord’s.

You have set before the Throne of Grace the great necessities, repentance unto life, the new birth, the removal of that adamant heart. But I would have you see clearly what that repentance is which avails before God. You have cited many texts, and I bless you for it, but let us not mistake the sorrow of the world for that godly sorrow which worketh repentance not to be repented of. The judgments which you have seen fall upon her may produce a carnal remorse, a terror of consequences, even a temporary turning from the foul act; but beware of that repentance which is no better than the vomit of a dog, it cometh of the flesh and returneth to the flesh. Law and terrors do but harden, all the while they work alone; it is a sense of blood-bought pardon that dissolves the heart of stone. The Almighty may thunder from Sinai, and the rocky heart shivers not; but let Calvary’s love be revealed, and the rock melts like wax. Therefore, while you plead the threatenings of a holy God, plead yet more the crimson wounds of Jesus. Show her, by your life and your patient endurance, the Christ who loved His church and gave Himself for it, even when she was defiled.

Consider well that the heart of man is by nature stone-cold, insensible to divine love, and harder than the nether millstone to every holy impression. You have prayed for a new heart after the promise of Ezekiel. This is the covenant: “I will take away the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” And who can perform this but the Lord alone? Salvation is of the Lord in its planning, its beginning, its sustaining, and its perfection. Your fastings, your tears, your loving entreaties are but the channels; they are not the fountain. God must speak the word, even that creaturely fiat which said, “Let there be light,” or the darkness will never flee. The eyes of her understanding are blinded by the god of this world, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ should shine unto them. But He who commanded the light to shine out of darkness can shine in her heart to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. Here is your anchorage: not in her willingness to return a text, not in the laws of the land that make divorce impossible, but in the sovereign mercy of Him who takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they should turn and live.

You have spoken of the desertion clause and the adultery clause, and your reasoning is sound; yet I hear the nobler strain of your soul crying out for her repentance that the marriage might yet be a testimony of Christ and the Church. That is a high summit of love, and it faintly mirrors the love of the Heavenly Bridegroom for His wayward spouse. But know this: true reconciliation cometh not by the terror of wrath alone, but by the ministry of reconciliation committed unto us, that God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses. That word of reconciliation we are to speak with tender lips. If you would see her won, let her behold in you, not a stern judge holding the bill of divorce, but one who, though sinned against, stands ready to forgive even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you. I do not counsel a foolish papering over of her sin; let repentance be full, deep, and sincere. But remember, the deep places of repentance are dug by the plough of love, not by the harrow of the law. When the shepherd’s crook draws the lost sheep, it draws it gently, though firmly, to the fold.

Do not deem that her present hardness has shut her out of hope. If salvation were on terms of debt, her heart of stone would indeed shut her out; but since He deals upon the ground of grace, He says even to the rebellious, “I will pour clean water upon you, and you shall be clean.” He has compassion on the ignorant and on them that are out of the way. Keep, then, your heart from that desponding repentance which itself would become a sin. Your business is to wait upon God in the posture of Christ in Gethsemane: “Nevertheless, not my will, but thine, be done.” That submission is the highest faith. The great High Priest, in the days of His flesh, offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears, and was heard in that He feared. So be you heard: plead the blood, rest on the promise, and then leave the issue with Him.

Go now to the House of Prayer and offer the sacrifice of a broken and a contrite heart for your own part, for you also need to keep your spirit sweet and free from the leaven of bitterness. Let your continued fasting and prayer be an offering holy, acceptable unto God, and expect not that the answer will tarry forever. Perhaps the Lord will put you to the test, that you may learn to trust Him in the dark; but as sure as He is God, His word shall not return void. He has committed unto us the word of reconciliation, and that word is still “mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.” Therefore, hope thou in God, for thou shalt yet praise Him who is the health of thy countenance and thy God.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pour out many Scriptures, and rightly so, for the word of God is the medicine for every soul. Yet I see in your words a heart torn between righteous anger and longing for mercy. That is a holy tension. The adultery your wife has committed is not merely against you, but against God Himself.

As I have said, when a man defiles another's marriage bed, or his own, he insults not just the spouse but the Lord who ordained that union. This is no small sin. She has broken covenant, and her unrepentant silence is a heavy stone indeed. You ask for her salvation, for her to receive a new heart and the new birth.

That is a godly request. No one can come to repentance unless the Father draws them. So persist in prayer and fasting, for these lend wings to supplication. But do not let your zeal become a snare for your own soul.

Examine your heart: is there any root of bitterness? Any desire for vindication that outruns your desire for her soul? Godly sorrow over sin works repentance unto salvation, but the sorrow of the world works death. Mourn for her, but do not let mourning become despair or self-pity.

Regarding the marriage bond, you cite our Lord's words. You know the exception He gave. Yet think carefully: the permission is not a command. To remain unmarried and devote yourself wholly to the Lord is a high calling, one that gives leisure for prayer and service without distraction.

I do not condemn remarriage; it is no heresy. But consider if God might be calling you to a greater continence for the sake of the kingdom, while you wrestle in prayer for her. What you do, do not from condemnation of marriage, but for a good end. Above all, remember that no one is saved by another's righteousness.

Her repentance cannot be manufactured by your efforts. Each soul must turn for itself. The thief on the cross found mercy in a moment, but that moment was a true turning. So continue to commend her to God, who desires not the death of a sinner but that all turn and live.

Trust His justice. And trust His mercy. Keep yourself from all pollution, and let your own life be a living epistle, known and read by all. Walk in the fear of the Lord all the day long, and leave the rest to Him who judges justly.

It sounds like you are carrying a tremendous weight right now, a deep ache for someone you love who has walked away not just from you, but from the truth itself. Your longing for her repentance and salvation is right; it mirrors the heart of the Father who desires all to come to the knowledge of the truth. But we need to look carefully at what is happening in the heart, because that is where the real battle is fought.

When we harden our hearts against the Lord over and over, something terrifying can follow. We see it plainly in the story of Pharaoh. He kept stiffening his own neck against God, and there came a time when the Lord simply confirmed him in that hardness. The Hebrew has two different ideas: Pharaoh hardened his own heart, but then God made it firm, set it in that position. That was not God creating fresh rebellion out of thin air; it was God finally saying to the man, “If that is what you have determined to be, then that is what you will remain.” Only then did judgment fall. Your wife has been resisting pastoral counsel, ignoring calls, and persisting in a path she knows is wrong. That is repeated hardening. It should sober us deeply. You can plead and fast and weep, and you should, but no human effort can crack a heart that has set itself against God. This is something only the Spirit can do, and it grows harder the longer the rebellion continues.

The core issue was never just about a broken marriage vow. It goes far deeper. The original rebellion in the Garden was about becoming a little god unto ourselves, choosing what is good and evil apart from God’s Word. That is what you are seeing: someone who has set herself up as the final authority over her own life, and in doing so, she has committed spiritual adultery before God. She has turned to other lovers, whether that is autonomy, the approval of the world, or the excitement of a forbidden relationship. And Jesus made it clear that even the lustful look is adultery in the heart. This is not about outward, mechanical rule-breaking only; it is about a heart that has wandered far from her first love and traded the glory of God for something less.

You have spoken of the biblical provisions for divorce and remarriage. I hear you weighing those words carefully, not flippantly. The desertion of an unbelieving spouse does free the believer, and adultery has tragic consequences Jesus Himself acknowledged. But what I sense in you is not an eagerness to exercise that freedom, but a broken desire that she would become a remarkable trophy of saving grace. That is the higher prize, and you are right to set your hope there, even while holding the rest loosely like our Lord in Gethsemane, not my will, but Yours be done. That is exactly the posture He gives grace for.

Guard your own heart in this waiting. It is possible to carry an idol of the marriage itself, wanting reconciliation more than you want her to bow before the living God. Let that chief love be Him alone. And remember, God does not leave us to drum up holy desires ourselves. He works in us both to will and to do His good pleasure. If this yearning for her salvation is there, it may very well be His own heart inviting you to travail in prayer until you see what He will do. But we must never presume that our timeline or our fasting can force a heart change. He gives the new heart and the new spirit; He cuts away the foreskin of the heart. We ask, we knock, we plead, and we leave it with Him.

Do not be so focused on her that you miss the warning for yourself and others watching. The trajectory of hardening is always a danger. Help any family member who is compassionate toward her to fear the Lord for themselves. The smartest, most honest advice in the world will avail nothing if it does not lead them first to the cross. And for you, keep your heart tender. The enemy would love to embitter you, to make you a resentful man who knows his rights but loses his intimacy with Jesus. Let the Word dwell in you richly. Let your life be a living epistle of what patient forgiveness and steady hope look like, because you may be the only Bible some people ever read.

Whether she ever turns, whether this story ends in restoration or in the tragic silence of a heart made permanently firm against grace, determine that you will emerge with Jesus as your portion. He wept over a city that would not come to Him, but He did not sin in His grief. Hold fast to the truth, keep praying, weep if you must, and trust Him for the outcome. The One who can turn a heart of stone into a heart of flesh is still on the throne.

We are deeply moved by the earnestness and heartfelt burden of your prayer request, and we want you to know that we have continued to stand in the gap with you before the throne of grace. Your cry for the salvation, repentance, and renewal of this dear one—along with your own plea for wisdom, love, and Christlike surrender—has been lifted to the Father with persistence and hope. The Scriptures you shared have been our guide as we have prayed, asking God to soften hardened hearts, open blind eyes, and pour out His Spirit in convicting and transforming power.

We have asked the Lord to fulfill His promise in Ezekiel 36:26, replacing a heart of stone with a heart of flesh, and to write His law upon minds and hearts as He declared in Jeremiah 31:33. We have pleaded for the new birth Jesus spoke of in John 3:3-7, trusting that no one is beyond the reach of God’s saving grace. We have also prayed for you, that you would be filled with supernatural wisdom, discernment, and love—especially as you navigate this painful season with Christlike endurance and hope.

If God has already moved in response to these prayers—if there has been even the slightest shift toward repentance, reconciliation, or renewed faith—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report. If, however, the answer is not yet visible, we encourage you to post this request again so that we may continue to intercede with you. The battle for souls is fierce, but our God is faithful, and His Word does not return void.

May the Lord bless you with His peace, strengthen you with His presence, and fill you with the assurance that He is working even when you cannot see it. Keep seeking Him, keep trusting Him, and keep surrendering all to Jesus Christ, our Savior and King. We pray all these things in His mighty and precious Name.
