💝 Law of LORD acts as Tutor to Lead to Christ, Gal 3:24, for Conversion of Soul, Ps 19:7-11, New Heart, Ezek 36:26, 🙇🏻 Renewal by Mercy, Washing of Regeneration by Holy Spirit, Tit 3:5-6, 🐉 Serpent's Lies Resisted, James 4:7, John 8:44, 1 Peter 5:8, Matt 16:17-18, 🤺 Chooses God's Word, Gen 2:17, over lie of choosing right and wrong for herself, being her own god, Gen 3:4-5, Fear of God is to hate evil, Prov 8:13... 🙏 Father, in Your Kindness, Lead the woman that bore my child, our families and ourselves where we need it to maximum Repentance, "the kindness of God is intended to lead us to repentance," Paul, Rom 2:4... You will none perish but all come to repentance, Peter, 2 Pet 3:9... You desire all people to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4. "Eternal fire was prepared for the devil and his angels, Matt 25:41, not humans that were originally made to image God, Gen 1:27.

Let us be merciful, that we may receive mercy, Matt 5:7... We ask for grace to add fasting, Mk 4:29, which the early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to prayer," (Tertullian, 155AD - 240AD). Help the one compassionate, honest and understanding family member witness to truth. Forgive this one the prayer for neglecting pastoral counsel and phone calls. We know that God causes all things to work all after the counsel of His will, Eph 1:11, not our will, and certainly not our timing. It's better to take refuge in God, than hope in princes, Ps 118:9. We trust You in the midst of trials, we trust in God -- God whose Word we praise, Ps 56:4... If king's hearts are as channels of water, Prov 21:1, how much more an individual that has chosen to feed on raisin cakes and needs repentance from serious sins, which Hosea's "deal with her" was based on repentance, see Hos 3:1-5. As this one is unwilling to reconcile, wants divorce, says we are done and though I've reached out, prayed and fasted, is still as unwilling to return a text in 3 months, much less return to me as most of Jerusalem was unwilling to gather under the wings of the Almighty or come to Jesus, over which He publicly wept, Matt 23:37.

Soften her heart and protect her from evil (also the youth, 2 Tim 3:15, and all of us, Eph 6:18-19, 1 Tim 2:1-4. We actually ask You God to save her), Matt 6:13. Let LIGHT SHINE that penetrates darkness, Jn 1:5, 1 Jn 1:5, 2 Cor 4:4, 2 Cor 4:6, to open their eyes, turning this one from the power of darkness to light, and power of satan to God, that they may partake of the inheritance along with all who are sanctified by faith in Jesus Christ, Acts 26:18, 1 Cor 1:30. Help her, them (and all of us) use our "Bible Apps" and understand what it says enough to let the Words You have caused to live inside become flesh in real life, Jn 1:12, James 1:22-23. Let "Jesus Christ's love be publicly portrayed," Gal 3:1, and model it to each and every family member, those most near and dear and beyond and blinded -- let us be living epistles known and read by all, 2 Cor 3:2. All Scripture is inspired by God Almighty and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right," 2 Tim 3:15-16. "Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one," John 17:15. "Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth," John 17:17. Thank you in The Name of Jesus, The One Mediator between God and Man, 1 Tim 2:5, in Jesus' Name.

"I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh," Ezek 36:26.
“But this is the covenant I'll make... I'll put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I'll be their God; they'll be My people," Jer 31:33.
Jesus replied, “Truly, truly, I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless one is born again," Jn3:3, "Do not be amazed that I said, ‘You must be born again,'" John 3:7.

We come before the Lord with a heavy yet hopeful heart, lifting up this situation with deep reverence for His Word and His ways. The cry for repentance, renewal, and restoration is one that resonates deeply with the heart of God, for He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We see in this request a recognition of the ancient deception, being one’s own god, choosing right and wrong for oneself, just as the serpent tempted Eve in the garden (Genesis 3:1-5). This is the root of all sin: the prideful rejection of God’s authority and the desire to usurp His place in our lives. But praise God, there is hope! The kindness of God leads us to repentance (Romans 2:4), and His mercy is greater than our sin.

We rebuke the spirit of hardness and rebellion that has taken root in this marriage. The refusal to reconcile, the silence, and the finality of words like "we are done" are not of God. Marriage is a covenant, a sacred bond ordained by God to reflect Christ’s relationship with His Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). It is not to be broken by the will of man but honored as a lifelong commitment (Matthew 19:6). We declare that this marriage is not beyond the reach of God’s healing power. Even now, we pray that the Lord would soften hearts, break chains of bitterness, and open eyes to see the devastation caused by sin. For those who have walked in disobedience, we pray for godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).

We also lift up the children and families involved, for they are deeply affected by this brokenness. We pray for protection over their hearts and minds, that they would not be hardened by the pain but drawn closer to Christ. We ask the Lord to raise up godly witnesses, family members, friends, or even strangers, who will speak truth in love, modeling the love of Christ and pointing the way to repentance and restoration. The Word of God is living and active (Hebrews 4:12), and we pray it would pierce through the darkness, bringing conviction, clarity, and a hunger for righteousness.

Father, we ask You to intervene in this situation with Your mighty hand. You are the God who makes the impossible possible (Luke 1:37). We pray for a supernatural work of regeneration, for new hearts of flesh to replace hearts of stone (Ezekiel 36:26). We pray for the light of Christ to shine in the darkness (John 1:5), exposing lies and illuminating truth. May the one who has turned away be drawn back by Your love, just as the prodigal son was drawn home by the father’s compassion (Luke 15:11-32). We pray for humility, for a willingness to submit to Your will, and for the courage to take steps toward reconciliation.

We also pray for the one who has been faithful in prayer and fasting. May the Lord strengthen you in this trial, reminding you that your labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). We pray for wisdom to know how to respond in a way that honors God, whether through continued intercession, godly counsel, or loving boundaries. We ask for grace to extend mercy, even as we trust the Lord to bring justice and restoration in His perfect timing.

Lord, we declare that You are the God of reconciliation. You reconciled us to Yourself through Christ (2 Corinthians 5:18), and we pray for that same reconciliation to take place in this marriage. We rebuke the enemy’s schemes to divide and destroy, and we declare that what God has joined together, no man should separate (Mark 10:9). We pray for a miracle, a testimony of Your power to heal and restore what has been broken.

We also address the issue of sin that has been mentioned, including any sexual immorality or ungodly relationships that may have contributed to this brokenness. Fornication and adultery are serious sins that grieve the heart of God (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). We pray for repentance from all ungodly relationships and for a return to purity and holiness. May the Lord cleanse and restore, leading both parties to walk in a manner worthy of the calling they have received (Ephesians 4:1).

Finally, we pray for salvation, for all involved to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray for the Holy Spirit to convict of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and for hearts to be opened to receive the gospel. May this family be transformed by the power of the cross, becoming a testimony of Your grace and mercy.

Heavenly Father, we trust You to work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We surrender this situation into Your hands, believing that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified in this family. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.

We hear the ache in your words, the silence that stretches on, the longing for her heart to soften and turn back, not just to you, but to God. It takes genuine love to keep praying and fasting for someone who has closed the door, and we don’t want to gloss over how heavy that is to carry.

While you wait and trust, you don’t have to carry it alone. Grief over a marriage can feel isolating, especially when reconciliation seems distant. Sometimes connecting with others who understand that particular sorrow can lift the weight just enough to let you breathe again. DivorceCare groups exist for that reason, a place to process the loss without being told to give up hope. Seeking that kind of support isn’t a statement of unbelief; it’s simply letting the body of Christ bear this with you.

Continue bringing her before the Lord, asking for her eyes to be opened and her heart of stone to become a heart of flesh. But also give yourself room to name your own weariness before God, to let His kindness meet you in the waiting. He sees you, even when the outcome remains hidden.

Lord, we lift this woman to You. Shepherd her out of darkness, protect her from evil, and draw her to genuine repentance and saving faith. Surround her with truth and people who will speak it with compassion. And for this man who loves her, sustain him. Anchor his trust in You, not in his timeline or his efforts, and give him wise companions for this long road. In Jesus’ name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been set before the mercy-seat, and I am stirred by your earnest cry for the soul of this woman and the mending of your household. Yet I bid you first search your own spirit: is your repentance a turning that renders glory to God, or a mere rebellion of regret? The terrors of estrangement can work a carnal repentance that alters the outward man but leaves the heart unchanged. It is the washing of regeneration, the new heart of flesh, that alone avails, and this is the sovereign gift of the Holy Ghost. Fasting and tears are precious, but they cannot force the new birth in another. That work belongs to Him who declares, “I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.”

You speak of turning from the lie of being your own god: that is well. Yet see that your repentance is no mere human resolve, but a grace that loathes all sin and cleaves only to Christ. True repentance and faith are inseparable, the one emptying the soul of self, the other filling it with the Redeemer. Take comfort: the least sincere repentance saves. You need not perfect sorrow before you look to Jesus; look now, and sorrow will deepen at the foot of the cross.

For this woman, your fasting and prayers are not in vain, but remember that law and terrors do but harden. It is a sense of blood-bought pardon that melts the heart of stone. Live as a letter of Christ before her; let His love be publicly portrayed in your patience and long-suffering. Commit her into the hands of the Almighty, who is able to turn hearts of stone to hearts of flesh. The Lord is not slow concerning His promise; His kindness leads to repentance. Wait upon Him with supplication, but trust His timing and His will. He who put a new song in your mouth can do the same for her. May the blessed Giver of all repentance unto life grant you both that broken and contrite heart which He will not despise, and may He restore according to the counsel of His own will.

Do not look to another for the hope of salvation, but after God’s lovingkindness, look to your own conduct and your own tears. You cry out for her repentance, and well you should, but let your own life first be pure, and if any stain falls, wash it continually away by repentance, by prayers, by works of mercy. For there is no second sacrifice, no other cross, but there remains the propitiation through repentance. A broken and contrite heart God will not despise. Ask Him, then, not for ease or the silencing of pain, but for a humble, sober heart full of compunction. These are His gifts, and we are in utmost need of them, for our fight is against spiritual wickedness, and we cannot afford to be laughing and sporting while the enemy marshals his savage phalanx.

Grieve, then, but let your grief be that which works repentance unto salvation, a sorrow that brings no regret. Paul burned when others were weak, he wept over sinners out of much affliction, and this grief is the ground of joy, the mark of a soul devoted to God. So too, shed tears for her, but not tears of bitterness that accuse; weep as one who yearns for her return to life. For godly sorrow is not to fix blame on another but to carry them before the throne of mercy. In that place, there is no need of a long circuit of works. Salvation is by a short word: if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. This word holds salvation and righteousness together, and it is the same for her.

Let the sharpness of this hope cut away all despair. Do not say, “She is unwilling, she does not return my words, she wants divorce.” What is that to you? Your own hope of salvation must be in yourself, not in her response. Watch and stand fast in the faith. If you had a slave with a festering sore, you could not bear to neglect it; will you hurry past the Body of Christ afflicted? Yet do not brandish a sword at your own soul by scoffing at what is hard. The commandment to mortify earthly members, fornication, uncleanness, covetousness which is idolatry, strikes at our madness, but it is spoken out of pain and love, so that you might attain such virtue as befits the children of God. Do not take it amiss.

David fell into adultery and murder, yet was saved by repentance. Ananias kept back a small portion and perished. See the balance: it is not the greatness of the sin but the depth of the turning that matters with the Almighty. Therefore heap up the countervailing remedies: alms, fasting, prayers, compunction, humility, a contrite heart, contempt of possessions. Make friends of the mammon of unrighteousness, for fasting and giving lend wings to prayer. But let all be done with a sincere eye, not to negotiate with God but to entrust yourself and her to the One who wills all to come to the knowledge of the truth.

So pray for that new heart promised in Scripture, but first seek that heart for yourself. Let your own repentance become a living epistle, known and read by all, even by her who now shuts her ears. Do not grow weary because her reply does not come in three months. God’s timing is not our own; the Lord makes a short work upon the earth when He wills. He can soften what is stone in an instant, for a king’s heart is a channel of water in His hand, how much more an individual’s. Only do not make your prayer a demand that she return to you, but that she return to her God. Flee to Him yourself; take refuge in Him and not in princes, not even in the hope of a restored household. Then, with a heart purged of its own fever, you will see clearly to pray, “Lead her to repentance,” and that kindness will accomplish what all your fasting and reaching out cannot. This is the warfare to which you are called, and it is well for us if, sober and thoroughly awakened, we can stand against the unseen enemies. Be of good courage; the sacrifice already made is enough. Only repent, and keep repenting, and leave the rest to the Savior who wept over Jerusalem.

Your prayer carries the weight of a heart that has been drawn into the very work of God. That you would intercede like this, not just for yourself but for her and for your child, is evidence that He has placed His own yearning within you. True prayer always begins with Him. He stirs the heart of an intercessor, just as He did with Moses, and what flows out is not mere human pleading but a reflection of His own compassion for the lost. So do not grow weary in bringing this before Him. He hears, and He sees the motive behind every word.

Yet while you cry out for a new heart in her, remember that God always looks on your heart as well. He sees the desire you have for repentance, for reconciliation, for her salvation. That counts greatly with Him. David yearned to build the temple, and though he was not permitted to do it, God said it was well that it was in his heart. The Lord perceives what we truly long for, even when our hands cannot accomplish it. So as you pray for her, also keep praying, "Search me, O God, and know my heart." Let Him refine your own affections, weeding out any trace of bitterness or self-will. A pure heart, an undivided heart that fears His name, will sustain you through this trial.

The Scriptures lay before us a sobering pattern: a heart can repeatedly harden itself. Pharaoh hardened his own heart again and again, and then the Lord confirmed him in that condition. That is a fearful thought, but it does not mean we stop praying. It means we press even more urgently into His mercy. You have asked Him to open blinded eyes and shine light into darkness. That is exactly the prayer we are taught to offer, because only the voice that commanded light to shine out of darkness can give the light of the knowledge of His glory in the face of Jesus Christ. Keep asking for that supernatural revelation. Keep bringing her name before the throne of grace, trusting that the kindness of God, poured out over time, has the power to lead even the most resistant heart to repentance.

At the same time, understand that prayer is designed to shape you as much as to move heaven. It is in the place of supplication that we often learn submission to the will of God. Jesus in Gethsemane prayed with loud cries and tears, and though His request was not granted as He desired, He learned what it meant to say, "Not my will, but Yours be done." Prayer does not give us the key to impose our timetable or our desires on God, but it becomes the school where patience is forged and faith is tested and deepened. You have reached out, fasted, and waited, and still there is silence. That silence is not absence. The delay is a space where trust is purified and where your own soul learns to rest not in outcomes but in the character of the One who works all things after the counsel of His will.

Do not despise the waiting, and do not let your heart grow hard in response. Guard against the temptation to become what you lament. Remain merciful, that you may receive mercy. Continue to let your prayer be an expression of love born from above, not a demand that God conform to your plan. Ask Him to keep your heart tender, teachable, and filled with praise even in the desert. As the psalmist learned, "I will hear what God the Lord will speak," and the turning of His people back to joy begins with our own readiness to listen.

Take courage from the promise that salvation is near. It is as close as the mouth and the heart. The new heart, the heart of flesh, is His gift, not something we manufacture. He alone can remove the stone. He alone can write His law on inward parts. So you rest your hope there. You do not plead on the basis of her willingness but on the basis of His covenant faithfulness. You do not cling to any human go-between but to the one Mediator, Jesus Christ, who ever lives to intercede.

May His peace garrison your soul. Keep lifting up your child, those family members who still have a voice, and even your own weary spirit. And in all your asking, let the overarching cry be, "Teach me Your way, O Lord; unite my heart to fear Your name." God sees what is in your heart to do. He honors that. Now entrust the harvest entirely to Him.
