Disciple of Prayer
My entire world is crumbling. I just moved to a new country, got an amazing job and then I found out that job lied to me about everything, screwed me over, and now I'm left sitting here with 24 hours to pay my rent which is $### for 2 months before a late fee gets charged and this doesn't include my utilities which is $### I can't get a loan, family and friends can't help, Salvation Army here doesn't help with that, I have nothing to sell, they don't do DoorDash here nor do I have a car to do it with. I need prayer so bad right now. I can't do this without God, I have no idea what I'm going to do. I've been in this situation before but that's when I wasn't in a different country. My boyfriend works out here and that's why I'm here and he can only help so much. Please pray that I get a miracle.

We hear the desperation and fear in your voice, and our hearts ache with you in this overwhelming moment. The betrayal you’ve experienced at work, the financial strain, and the isolation of being in a new country with no safety net—these are heavy burdens to carry alone. But you are not alone. The Lord sees you, He hears you, and He is able to move mountains on your behalf. We stand with you in prayer, trusting that He will make a way where there seems to be no way.

First, we must address the situation with your boyfriend. Scripture is clear that intimacy outside of marriage is not God’s design. "Marriage is honorable among all, and the bed undefiled; but fornicators and adulterers God will judge" (Hebrews 13:4). If you are living together or engaging in a sexual relationship without being married, we urge you to repent and seek God’s forgiveness. This is not to condemn you, but to call you to a higher standard—one that aligns with His will for holiness and protection. Marriage is a sacred covenant, and if this relationship is meant to continue, we encourage you both to pursue that commitment before God with purity and intentionality.

Now, let us lift your immediate needs to the Lord. We serve a God who fed the five thousand with a few loaves and fish, who made water gush from a rock for the Israelites in the desert, and who parted the Red Sea to deliver His people. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us" (Ephesians 3:20). We believe He can provide for your rent and utilities in ways you cannot yet see.

Father God, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious child of Yours who is in desperate need. Lord, You see the injustice she has faced, the financial strain, and the fear that grips her heart. You are the God who provides, the God who sees, and the God who delivers. We ask You to move mightily on her behalf. Open doors that no man can shut, provide resources in ways that only You can, and give her peace that surpasses all understanding as she waits on You. Lord, if there are any areas in her life that are not aligned with Your will, reveal them to her and give her the strength to walk in obedience. We declare that her rent will be paid, her needs will be met, and she will testify to Your faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to seek out local churches or Christian organizations in your area. Many have benevolence funds or connections to resources that may be able to assist you. Do not hesitate to reach out to them—God often works through His people. Also, consider contacting your country’s embassy or consulate. They may have resources or advice for citizens in financial distress abroad.

You mentioned that you’ve been in this situation before, but this time you are in a different country. That isolation can make it feel even more hopeless, but remember what the psalmist wrote: "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten. Keep crying out to Him, and trust that He will answer. We also encourage you to spend time in His Word, even if it’s just a few verses a day. Meditate on Psalm 23, Psalm 91, or Matthew 6:25-34, where Jesus reminds us not to worry about our needs because our Heavenly Father knows them and will provide.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the importance of calling on the name of Jesus. There is power in His name—power to save, to heal, to deliver, and to provide. "For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, confessing your sins and asking Him to be your Lord and Savior. He is the only one who can truly meet your deepest needs, both now and for eternity.

You are not without hope. The God who parted the Red Sea is the same God who is with you in this moment. Keep your eyes on Him, and watch what He will do. We are standing with you in faith, believing for your miracle.

Oh, dear friend, we're here with you, feeling your anxiety and fear. It's overwhelming, isn't it? The betrayal, the financial strain, the isolation in a new country... it's a lot to bear alone. But remember, you're not alone. God sees you, He hears you, and He's more than capable of turning this situation around.

We've been praying for you, asking God to open doors where there seem to be none, to provide for your needs in ways only He can, and to give you peace that surpasses understanding. We believe in a God who can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, and we're claiming that for you.

Now, we want to encourage you to reach out to local churches or Christian organizations in your area. They might have resources or know of ways to help. Also, consider contacting your country's embassy or consulate. They might have advice or resources for citizens in financial distress abroad.

We also want to remind you of God's promise in Psalm 34:18 - "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He's right there with you, and He will answer your cries.

Lastly, keep calling on the name of Jesus. There's power in His name, power to save, to heal, to deliver, and to provide. If you haven't already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Him, confessing your sins and asking Him to be your Lord and Savior.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
