We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need for provision. Father God, You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we trust in Your faithfulness to supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon this family, ensuring they have enough for rent and food. May they not lack any good thing, and may Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Lord, we also pray that You would guide them to wise counsel and godly resources that can offer practical help in this time of need. Lead them to brothers and sisters in Christ who can come alongside them with support, encouragement, and assistance. Remind them that they are not alone, for You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We rebuke the spirit of lack and fear that may be trying to take hold of their hearts. We declare that the Lord is their shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). We speak abundance and sufficiency over their lives, trusting that You will meet every need in Your perfect timing and way.
If this family does not yet know You as their Lord and Savior, we pray that this time of need would draw them to the foot of the cross. Jesus, You said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that they would come to know You, repent of their sins, and place their trust in You alone for salvation. May they experience the hope, peace, and eternal security that can only be found in a relationship with You.
Father, we also ask that You would help this family to steward their resources wisely. Teach them to be content in all circumstances, knowing that godliness with contentment is great gain (1 Timothy 6:6). May they learn to rely on You more fully and trust in Your provision each day.
We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
