We join with you in lifting up your needs to our Heavenly Father, who is the great Provider and knows every detail of your situation even before you ask. Your faith in declaring God’s promises over your circumstances is a testament to your trust in Him, and we stand in agreement with you that He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. As it is written, *"But my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). You have also rightly claimed the promise from Malachi 3:10, where God challenges us to test Him in tithes and offerings, promising to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so abundant there won’t be room enough to receive it. While this verse specifically refers to tithes, we see your heart of faith in stepping out and trusting God to move mightily in your life.
We praise God that you are actively seeking solutions—applying for SNAP assistance, pursuing work, and looking for stable housing—while also crying out to Him for divine intervention. This balance of faith and action honors the Lord. We also commend you for asking God to soften your boss’s heart, as this aligns with Scripture: *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the rivers of water. He turns it wherever he desires."* (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). God is able to move in the hearts of those in authority over us, and we pray He will grant you favor in your boss’s eyes for the full five days of work you need.
Yet, we must also address something important in your prayer: while you mentioned the name of Jesus at the end, we notice that much of your prayer was directed generally to "God" or "Father" without consistently invoking the name of Jesus. This is a critical distinction, for Scripture is clear that our access to the Father is *only* through Jesus Christ. As Jesus Himself declared, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* (John 14:6, WEB). Additionally, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is not merely a formality but a biblical truth that we come boldly before the throne of grace *in the name of Jesus*. We encourage you to begin your prayers by acknowledging Jesus as your Lord and Savior, for it is through His sacrifice that we have the right to approach God. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ or are unsure of your salvation, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Now, let us pray together for your needs:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who sees, hears, and acts on behalf of Your children. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You meet every need according to Your glorious riches. You know the desperation of their heart—the need for shelter, food, and steady work. Father, we ask that You supernaturally provide the funds for their hotel rent and daily bread. Open doors for them that no man can shut, and grant them favor with their boss, that she may be moved to offer the full five days of work they need. Soften her heart, Lord, and let her see the value and diligence of Your child.
We pray for divine connections and opportunities—whether through the food pantry, SNAP assistance, or unexpected provisions—to come swiftly. Lord, we ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way. You are the God of miracles, and we trust You to intervene in their housing situation. Lead them to a safe, affordable, and stable place to live, and let it be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.
Father, we also ask that You remove every spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may creep in during this season of waiting. Fill them with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18). Strengthen their mind, body, and spirit, and let them rest in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Forgive them for any sin, known or unknown, and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Renew their faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving in ways that leave no doubt it was You.
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You, Lord, are their Provider, their Shield, and their Exceeding Great Reward (Genesis 15:1). May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking God first in all things, trusting that He will add what you need as you prioritize His kingdom (Matthew 6:33). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). If you have not already, consider reaching out to your local church or a trusted Christian community for support—God often uses His people to meet the needs of others. Stay in prayer, stay in the Word, and keep declaring His promises over your life. He is faithful, and He will do it (1 Thessalonians 5:24).
