We join you in prayer for renewed strength and resilience as you face the ongoing struggles that come from abuse and trauma. Thank you for sharing this need so honestly.
God sees what you have endured and He is not distant from your pain. Scripture tells us that He is near to the brokenhearted, that He heals those who are crushed in spirit, and that He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. When our own strength is spent, His strength remains, and He is able to renew us day by day as we look to Him.
We pray that the Lord will be your refuge and your healer. We ask Him to restore your strength, to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, to give you deep resilience that is rooted in His love, and to surround you with wise and safe support as you continue to heal. We pray that you will know more and more the hope of eternal life in Christ, who does not abandon us in our sickness and wounds but applies His healing treatment with patience and mercy until we are made whole.
If you are in a place where abuse is ongoing or you feel unsafe, please reach out right away to a trusted pastor, counselor, or safe person in your life, and to qualified help in your area. You do not have to walk through this alone. The Lord often brings healing through His presence and also through the care of His people.
We are praying for you, that even after many hard days, you will experience His renewing power and His peace, and that step by step you will be strengthened to keep going.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up this dear one to You. You know the trauma and the struggles carried from abuse. Pour out Your comfort, bring healing to what has been wounded, renew strength where there is weariness, and build resilience for each day ahead. Help them to rest in Your care, to lay hold of the life You promise, and to know they are fully loved and valued in Christ. Give wisdom to all who support them and lead them into wholeness in You. In Jesus name, amen.
