Renewed strength

Beloved of All
Asking for prayers for renewed strength and resilience to face ongoing struggles from abuse and trauma, in Jesus name amen

We hear your heart crying out for renewed strength and resilience as you continue to walk through the deep wounds of abuse and trauma, and we join with you in bringing this before our Father in Jesus' name. We thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace and it is in His name that healing and restoration are found.

We want you to know that God sees what you have endured, He does not take abuse lightly, and He is close to you in this pain. Abuse in any form is sin against God and against those made in His image, and the Lord is a defender of the wounded. We are told in Psalm 34:18 that Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, and in Psalm 147:3 that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds. He understands trauma is not simply forgotten and strength is not just trying harder, He knows the ongoing struggle you face.

The Lord does not ask you to find resilience within yourself alone. He promises to be your source of strength when you have none left. Isaiah 40:29 says He gives power to the weak. He increases the strength of him who has no might, and Isaiah 40:31 reminds us that those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint. When your heart feels overwhelmed, we pray you will experience what is written in Psalm 61:2, From the end of the earth, I will call to you, when my heart is overwhelmed. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. That Rock is Christ, and in Him we can say with confidence from Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me, and hear His gentle answer in 2 Corinthians 12:9, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.

We encourage you to continue to lean on Him daily, to wait on Him in prayer and in His Word, and to not walk through this healing alone. God often brings renewal through godly community, through wise and biblical counsel, and through trusted pastors or Christian counselors who can walk with you through trauma with truth and grace. If you are still in an unsafe situation, we urge you to seek help and protection from trusted leaders or authorities, for God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble from Psalm 46:1, and He desires for you to be safe as He restores you.

We lift you up together now in prayer.

Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this dear one before You. You know every wound, every memory, every ongoing struggle that trauma has left behind. We ask You to pour out Your renewed strength upon them today. Where they feel weak and weary, be their power. Where they feel broken and crushed, draw near and bind up their wounds. Renew their mind and heart with Your peace that passes understanding, and build resilience not from mere endurance but from Your grace sustaining them day by day. Lift the weight of shame and fear that abuse has placed on them, and replace it with the assurance that they are deeply loved, valued, and cherished as Your child. Lead them to the Rock that is higher, to Jesus Christ, and let them rest securely in His strength. Surround them with godly support, wisdom, and protection, and continue Your healing work until wholeness is restored. We thank You that Your grace is sufficient and Your power is made perfect in weakness. We pray all of this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We thank you for letting us pray with you for renewed strength. We hear how heavy and wearing it is to keep facing the ongoing effects of abuse and trauma, and it takes courage to name that need so honestly.

You are not forgotten and you are not alone in this. Wanting resilience does not mean you have to be tough on your own. Resilience is more like a process that grows over time through small daily thoughts, actions, and relationships, and as believers we trust God is intimately present in that process. Often that growth happens not in isolation but when there is at least one caring, steady person walking alongside you.

One gentle next step you might consider is noticing one safe support you already have, whether a trusted pastor, counselor, or safe friend or family member, and letting them know you are asking for prayer for strength right now. If you are in an unsafe situation, please reach out right away to a trusted person or local support for help. And alongside prayer, talking with a counselor or pastor who understands trauma can be a helpful way to build support and coping over time.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. We ask You to provide strength for each day, to bring healing where there has been deep hurt, and to surround them with safe and caring support. Give wisdom for next steps and a steady reminder that they are seen, valued, and not alone. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your prayer for renewed strength and resilience under the heavy burden of abuse and trauma, and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ.

The Scripture declares, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. Human strength, even at its best, will spend itself in due time. It is derived strength and therefore measurable, and apart from God it must come to an end. Many who have suffered deeply know what it is to have no might left, to feel faint and utterly wearied. But the glory of our strength lies not in ourselves, for all strength of every sort comes from God, and He is inexhaustible in Omnipotence. To those who have no might, He increases strength.

This renewal comes by waiting upon the Lord. It is not by striving in our own power, but by flinging ourselves upon the Divine strength and laying hold upon it. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble. He Himself has said, I will strengthen them in the Lord, and that promise will be assuredly performed, for it is fitly infused and wisely balanced by His own hand.

There is also healing for the wounded heart. The Lord heals the broken in heart, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing virtue. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and His leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Many a child of God when weary has renewed his strength at the remembrance of pardoning mercy and the tender care of the heavenly Physician, whose work is not so much to point out disease as to apply the remedy at Calvary.

Therefore we pray for you, that the Lord would be the glory of your strength in this season of ongoing struggle. May He lift you as He took the hand of the sick and raised her up, giving strength to minister and to live again. May He renew you day by day as you wait upon Him, teaching you to trust not in ceremonies or resolutions or your own resolve, but to fall upon Christ's kind arms, who is your strength and righteousness, your Jesus and your all.

We ask the Father to surround you with His presence, to guard your mind and heart, to bring wise and faithful help beside you, and to let you know that when you are without strength, Christ died for the ungodly and now lives to intercede for you. May He give you quiet resilience, not of mere human endurance, but of that spiritual strength which is your honor and comfort and safety.

We will continue to pray that you may go from strength to strength, until the Sun of Righteousness rises upon you with healing in His wings, and you find your renewed strength in Him alone. In Jesus name, Amen.
