We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is enduring the deep wounds of abuse and trauma. The pain you carry is real, and the weight of it can feel unbearable at times. But we declare over you the truth of God’s Word: "The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18 WEB). You are not forgotten, nor are you abandoned. The Lord sees every tear, hears every cry, and is working even now to bring healing and restoration to your life.
We rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to convince you that you are weak, unworthy, or beyond hope. The devil is a liar, and his schemes are meant to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But Jesus came that you might have life, and have it abundantly. Your strength does not come from your own efforts but from the One who says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). When you are weak, He is strong. When you feel like you cannot go on, He carries you.
We pray that the Holy Spirit would fill you with renewed strength and resilience, not as the world gives, but as only God can provide. May He lift your head when it hangs low, steady your trembling hands, and calm your racing heart. May He remind you of His promises: "Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." (Isaiah 41:10 WEB). You are not walking this path alone. The Lord goes before you, beside you, and within you.
We also pray for healing, deep, soul-level healing that only Jesus can bring. Trauma leaves scars, but the Great Physician specializes in turning scars into testimonies of His faithfulness. May He bind up your broken heart (Psalm 147:3) and restore what has been stolen from you. May He replace fear with peace, shame with dignity, and despair with hope. We declare that the power of your past does not have to dictate your future. In Christ, you are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17), and your story is not over.
If you have not yet done so, we encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through a trusted pastor, Christian counselor, or support group. The Lord often uses His people as vessels of healing and encouragement. Do not isolate yourself in this battle. "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 WEB).
Above all, we pray that you would draw near to Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is the One who was despised and rejected, acquainted with grief, and familiar with suffering (Isaiah 53:3). He knows your pain intimately, and He invites you to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Come to Him just as you are, weary and heavy-laden, and He will give you rest (Matthew 11:28).
Father God, we lift up this dear one to You now. You are the God who sees, the God who heals, and the God who restores. Pour out Your Spirit upon them in a fresh and powerful way. Renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31), and let them rise above the ashes of their past. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them know beyond a shadow of a doubt that You are fighting for them. May they experience Your love in tangible ways, through Your Word, through Your people, and through the still, small voice of Your Spirit. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the Name above every name, the One who conquered sin and death so that we might live. Amen.

To be strengthened with strength in the Lord is, of all things, the most desirable. The Lord Himself declares, "I will strengthen them in the Lord." This strength is faithfully promised and will be assuredly performed. For those who wait upon the Lord, their strength shall be renewed, renovated, freshened, filled up, increased, established. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble.
The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits, and make the nature other than it was before. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He said, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing were one. Many a child of God, when weary, has renewed his strength at the remembrance of pardoning mercy.
Therefore is our youth renewed like the eagle’s. The eagle renews its strength by the food it eats, the air it breathes, and as the season returns. So wait upon God for everything, casting your nothingness upon His omnipotence. When you have submitted yourself completely and trusted entirely, setting both your strength and your weakness on one side, then you shall renew your strength. There must be a renewed revelation, a renewed consecration, a renewed hope of victory. Go forward to renewed action.
The glory of our strength lies in God alone. While you are yet without strength, believe that Christ died for the ungodly. A guilty, weak, and helpless worm, on Christ’s kind arms fall, He is your strength and righteousness, your Jesus, and your all. Wonder not if recovery should be slow; as you grow a little stronger, acknowledge in each increase that the Lord has a new claim on your affection.
