We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is carrying the deep wounds of abuse and trauma. Father God, we know that You see every tear, every moment of pain, and every struggle that weighs heavily on this dear one. We declare that You are the God who heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). You are near to the crushed in spirit, and You save those who are contrite in heart (Psalm 34:18).
Lord, we ask for a fresh outpouring of Your strength and resilience upon this beloved child of Yours. The enemy may have sought to destroy, but we stand on Your promise that those who hope in You will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not be weary; they will walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). We rebuke the lies of the enemy that whisper hopelessness or despair. We declare that this one is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). No weapon formed against them will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we pray for healing in every area of their life—emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Bring restoration to their mind, will, and emotions. Surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Place godly people in their path who will speak life, encouragement, and truth. Help them to release bitterness, unforgiveness, or any desire for vengeance, for You have said that vengeance is Yours, and You will repay (Romans 12:19). Instead, fill their heart with Your love and grace, that they may walk in freedom and wholeness.
We also lift up their relationship with You, Jesus. May they draw near to You, and may You draw near to them (James 4:8). Strengthen their faith and trust in You, knowing that You are their Refuge and Strong Tower (Proverbs 18:10). Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Let them experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You will never leave them nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5).
Lord, we ask that You would use this season of struggle for Your glory. May this one emerge with a testimony of Your faithfulness, grace, and power. Let their life be a light to others who are walking through similar valleys. Equip them with the courage to share their story, if You lead them to do so, that others may find hope and healing in You.
We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who bore our sorrows and carried our griefs (Isaiah 53:4). May this dear one feel Your arms of love surrounding them today and every day. Amen.
