We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who is enduring the deep wounds of abuse and trauma. The pain of such experiences can leave one feeling broken, weary, and overwhelmed, but we know that our God is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). In Jesus’ name, we stand in the gap, believing that He is the Great Physician who heals the deepest hurts and restores what has been stolen.
Father, we ask You to pour out Your strength upon this precious one. When their own strength fails, be their refuge and fortress (Psalm 46:1). Renew their spirit day by day, Lord, and remind them that Your grace is sufficient, for Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We rebuke the lies of the enemy that seek to convince them they are alone, unworthy, or beyond healing. In the mighty name of Jesus, we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every spirit of fear, shame, and despair to flee!
Lord, we pray for resilience to rise up within them, a resilience that is not of their own making, but rooted in Your unfailing love. Help them to cast their burdens upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Surround them with godly counsel, safe relationships, and Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they find comfort in Your Word, which is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path (Psalm 119:105).
We also ask, Father, that You would bring justice where it is needed. You are a God who sees and hears the cries of the oppressed (Exodus 3:7), and we trust You to move on their behalf. Heal their heart, Lord, and restore their joy. May they come to know the depth of Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).
And to this dear one, we say: You are not defined by what has been done to you. You are defined by the One who created you, who loves you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3), and who calls you His own. Keep pressing into Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6). The road to healing may be long, but it is not walked alone, Jesus walks it with you, and so do we.

Your prayer for renewed strength and resilience in the face of abuse and trauma has been heard and has been carried to the throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ.
Human strength, even at its best, will spend itself in due time. Apart from God it is but derived strength and therefore measurable, and it must come to an end. The bruising and wounding you have endured makes this faintness to be felt all the more keenly, for the heart that has been broken and the spirit that has been oppressed soon finds its own power dried up. But the strength of God is inexhaustible Omnipotence, and it is His way to give power to the faint and to them that have no might to increase strength.
The promise stands, They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. This renewal does not come by striving in your own power, but by waiting upon the Lord. When there remains no strength in you, nor any ability of any kind or sort, then fling yourself upon the Divine strength and lay hold upon it. The Lord Himself says, I will strengthen them in the Lord, and therefore it will be fitly infused and wisely balanced. When all your own strength fails you, your strength shall be to sit still while God arises and becomes your arm every morning, your salvation in the time of trouble.
We have prayed that you would know the healing virtue that is in Christ alone. He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, not only in His fruit but in the very leaves of the tree which are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. As the Sun of Righteousness rises upon you with healing in His wings, pardon and healing are found together in Him.
Do not think that you must first gather strength and then come to Christ. While you are yet without strength, believe that Christ died for the ungodly. He took the wounded by the hand and lifted them up, and strength to walk and to minister came with the healing. Come to Him stripped of all strength and power, as a guilty, weak and helpless soul falling upon Christ's kind arms, for He is your strength and your righteousness, your Jesus and your all.
May the Lord renew your strength day by day as you wait upon Him, revive you out of decline by the leaves of that healing tree, and keep you in His own power until the faintness is gone and you are made to mount up as on eagles wings. We ask the Father to guard you, to restore what has been broken, to grant resilience not from yourself but from His indwelling Spirit, and to let you know that the glory of your strength lies in God alone, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

We join you in prayer before the Lord for renewed strength and resilience as you face the ongoing struggles that come from abuse and trauma.
God sees what you have endured and He is near to the brokenhearted. Scripture tells us that He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak, and that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. We ask Him to be your refuge and comfort now, to heal the wounds that others have caused, to quiet fear and painful memories with His peace, and to restore you day by day by His grace.
We pray that in Jesus Christ alone you will find your hope, your healing, and your security. May the Lord lift you up when you feel weary, guard your heart and mind in Christ, surround you with wise and caring support, and give you courage and resilience for each step ahead. May He lead you into safety, wholeness, and the lasting strength that comes from walking closely with Him.

Thank you for sharing your heart and asking for prayer. Your request has been heard, and we are praying for you. What you have walked through is grievous, and God sees the pain that abuse and trauma leave behind. He does not take it lightly, and He draws near to those who are wounded.
Scripture reminds us where true strength comes from. The Lord is your light and your salvation, the strength of your life, so you do not need to live in fear. He is your shield, and when your heart trusts in Him, He helps you. He promises to give strength to His people and to bless them with peace. His Word itself can become your strength and your portion as you stay close to Him. He is like a strong tower and a shelter, and you can trust under the covering of His wings.
God does not promise a life without adversity. Those who walk with Him will still face hard days. If we try to rely only on our own inner strength or our own ability to cope, we will find it is not enough and we will grow weary. But blessed is the person whose strength is in the Lord. When you acknowledge your weakness and place your trust in Him, His strength is made perfect in your weakness. You do not have to carry this in your own power. As you look to Him, He will sustain you and help you go from strength to strength, even turning valleys of weeping into places of refreshment.
We also bring your need for healing before Jesus. The prophet Isaiah foretold that He would bear our infirmities and carry our sorrows, and the Gospels show Jesus healing sickness, calming troubled minds, and having authority over spiritual darkness. Healing is not always in the same pattern. Sometimes it is instant, sometimes it is gradual, and God has built healing processes into our bodies and minds that are still His work. He heals not only the body but also the deep wounds and scars left in the mind and emotions. He understands the trauma you carry and He is able to bring healing to those places in His way and His time.
We are praying for you now.
