Renewed strength

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who is carrying the weight of past abuse and trauma. Father God, You see every tear, every moment of exhaustion, and every battle fought in silence. We declare over this precious one that You are the God who renews strength, who lifts up the weary, and who heals the brokenhearted. The Word tells us in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint." Lord, we ask that You would do just that—renew their strength, restore their hope, and fill them with Your resilience.

We also recognize, Father, that the scars of abuse and trauma can leave deep wounds, not just in the body or mind, but in the spirit. We rebuke every lie of the enemy that has taken root—lies that say they are unworthy, unloved, or beyond healing. In the name of Jesus, we break the power of those lies and declare that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, and deeply loved by You. We pray for Your healing touch to reach the deepest places of pain, bringing comfort, peace, and restoration.

Lord, we ask that You would surround this one with Your presence in tangible ways. Give them the courage to seek godly counsel, whether through trusted believers, pastors, or Christian therapists who can walk alongside them in this journey. Remind them that they are not alone—You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help them to cast every burden upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate relationships and boundaries. May they find safe, godly community where they can experience love, acceptance, and encouragement. Protect their heart from bitterness, resentment, or fear, and fill them instead with Your perfect love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18).

Father, we thank You that in Jesus, there is hope, healing, and a future. We declare that this season of struggle is not the end of their story. You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5), and we trust You to bring beauty from ashes and joy from mourning (Isaiah 61:3). Strengthen them daily, Lord, and let them feel Your arms carrying them when their own strength fails.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here, standing with you, lifting you up in prayer. We know the weight of past abuse and trauma can be overwhelming, but we want you to know that you're not alone. We're claiming God's promise in Isaiah 40:31, "those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength." We believe that God is right there with you, ready to renew your strength, restore your hope, and fill you with His resilience.

Remember, God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7), and He wants you to cast your burdens upon Him. We're praying for courage to seek godly counsel, whether that's from trusted believers, pastors, or Christian therapists. We're also praying for wisdom and discernment in navigating relationships and boundaries, and for safe, godly community where you can experience love, acceptance, and encouragement.

We're trusting God to bring beauty from ashes and joy from mourning (Isaiah 61:3). We believe that this season of struggle is not the end of your story. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
