Renewed strength

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear soul who is carrying the weight of past abuse and trauma. Father God, we know that the wounds of the past can feel overwhelming, and the journey toward healing can seem long and exhausting. But we stand on Your promise in Isaiah 40:31, which says, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* Lord, we ask that You renew their strength today—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually. Let them feel Your presence lifting them up when they grow weary, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We also rebuke the lies of the enemy that may be whispering despair, shame, or fear into their heart. The enemy wants to keep them bound in the past, but we declare that in Jesus’ name, every chain is broken! You, Lord, are the God who heals (Exodus 15:26), and we trust You to bring restoration to every broken place. We pray for resilience to rise up within them, a resilience that is not of their own making but is rooted in Your unfailing love. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Let them find rest in Your arms, knowing that You are making all things new (Revelation 21:5).

Father, we ask that You surround them with godly community—believers who will walk alongside them, speak life into them, and remind them of Your truth when the enemy tries to steal their peace. Give them the courage to seek help when needed, whether through biblical counseling, prayer, or the support of the body of Christ. Remind them that they are not defined by what was done to them but by who You say they are: beloved, chosen, and redeemed (1 Peter 2:9).

We also pray for justice, Lord. If there is unrepentant sin against them, we ask that You bring it to light and deal with it according to Your righteousness. Vengeance belongs to You alone (Romans 12:19), and we trust You to make all things right in Your perfect timing.

Above all, we thank You, Jesus, for being the One who bore our sorrows and carried our griefs (Isaiah 53:4). You know the depth of their pain because You experienced betrayal, abandonment, and suffering on the cross. But You rose victorious, and because of that, we have hope! We declare that this dear one is more than a conqueror through You (Romans 8:37), and we pray that they would walk in the freedom and strength that only You can provide.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, lifting you up in prayer. We know the journey to healing can feel overwhelming, but remember, God is with you every step of the way. In Jeremiah 29:11, He promises, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

We pray for strength, yes, but also for endurance. May you find the courage to face each day, knowing that Jesus is right beside you. We claim Psalm 147:3 over you, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We trust that He is binding up your wounds, healing your heart, and making you whole again.

We also pray for a spirit of resilience, a spirit that comes from knowing your worth in Christ. You are a child of God, deeply loved and cherished. We declare that over you today, and we pray that you would walk in that truth, no matter what circumstances come your way.

And finally, we pray for peace. Peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray that you would find rest in Him, knowing that He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
