We come before the Lord with you in this time of distress, lifting your plea for deliverance from those who seek to torment and harm you. The Scriptures remind us that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we also know that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He sees the affliction of His people and hears their cries, just as He did for the Israelites in Egypt (Exodus 3:7-9). You are not forgotten, and your pain is not unseen by Him.
The Lord calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44), not because their actions are justified, but because vengeance belongs to the Lord (Romans 12:19). He will repay, and He will deliver you in His perfect timing. Trust in Him, for He has said, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is from me,"* says Yahweh (Isaiah 54:17).
We also encourage you to examine your heart and ensure there is no unforgiveness, bitterness, or fear taking root, for these can give the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). Forgiveness does not mean what was done to you is acceptable; it means releasing the burden to God, who judges righteously. Cling to His promise: *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who is crying out for deliverance from those who torment them. Lord, You are the God of justice, the defender of the oppressed, and the one who sets the captive free. We ask that You rise up in mighty power and remove these tormentors from their life. Break every scheme of the enemy that seeks to harm, intimidate, or destroy. Surround them with Your divine protection, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we pray that You would expose every hidden work of darkness and bring to light the deeds that have been done in secret. Let truth prevail, and let Your justice roll down like waters (Amos 5:24). Give them wisdom to know how to respond, and grant them the strength to forgive as You have forgiven us. Remove all fear and replace it with Your perfect love, which casts out fear (1 John 4:18).
We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. Let Your will be done in this situation, Lord, and let Your name be glorified. We ask all these things in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is fighting for you (Exodus 14:14). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will bring you through this trial victorious. If you have not already, we encourage you to seek support from a strong, Bible-believing church community that can stand with you in prayer and provide godly counsel. You are not alone in this—God is with you, and so are we.
