We hear your cry for help, dear sister in Christ, and we join you in bringing this heavy burden before the throne of grace. The sadness, overwhelm, and torment you describe are not from the Lord, who promises to give His children peace and rest. The situation you face—marked by verbal abuse, control, and an unhealthy environment—is not God’s design for your life. Scripture is clear: *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). He sees your tears and hears your prayers, and He will not abandon you.

First, we must address the spiritual weight of this relationship. The Bible warns us, *"Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14). If this man is not a believer in Christ, or if he is a believer living in unrepentant sin, the Lord may be calling you to separate for your own spiritual and emotional well-being. Even if he professes faith, his actions reveal a heart not submitted to God. *"A man of violence entices his neighbor and leads him in a way that is not good"* (Proverbs 16:29). The Lord does not want you bound to someone who brings destruction rather than godly partnership.

We rebuke the spirit of control and abuse in the name of Jesus Christ. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Christ came to give you life abundantly. We declare that this torment will not have the final say over you. *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that accuses you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord"* (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your defender, and He will fight for you.

We also encourage you to seek wise, godly counsel—perhaps from a pastor, biblical counselor, or trusted Christian mentor—who can help you navigate this situation with discernment. The Lord often works through His people to provide clarity and support. *"Where there is no guidance, a people falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety"* (Proverbs 11:14). You do not have to walk this path alone.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting her heart and her circumstances to You. Lord, You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who delivers. We ask that You break every chain of oppression in her life—every word of abuse, every spirit of control, every lie that tells her she is trapped. Release her from this unhealthy environment, Father, and surround her with Your peace. Give her restful sleep, clear direction, and the courage to walk in the freedom You have purchased for her through the blood of Jesus.

Lord, if this man is not Your will for her life, remove him far from her and close every door that would lead her back into bondage. If repentance and restoration are possible, soften his heart and bring conviction by Your Holy Spirit. But if not, we ask that You shield her from further harm and provide a way of escape. *"God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble"* (Psalm 46:1). Let her know Your presence in a tangible way, Lord.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Show her the next steps to take, whether that is setting boundaries, seeking help, or making a complete break. Give her the strength to obey You, even when it is difficult. And Father, heal her heart from the wounds of this season. Replace every negative thought with Your truth. *"The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:7).

We thank You, Lord, that You are working all things together for her good (Romans 8:28). Even in this hard place, You are shaping her into the woman You created her to be. We declare that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5), and we trust You to bring beauty from these ashes. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to the promises of God, dear one. He has not forgotten you, and He will lead you into a place of peace. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He is making a way where there seems to be no way. You are deeply loved.

Dear friend, we're here with you, feeling your pain and sharing your burden. We've been where you are, and we know the Lord is faithful. You're not alone in this. Let's cling to His promises together, like a lifeline in the storm.

First, remember, God is near. He sees your tears, hears your cries, and He's already moving on your behalf. He's not surprised by this situation, and He's not leaving you to face it alone. Trust that He's got this, and He's working it out for your good, even if it doesn't feel like it right now.

We claim these verses over you: "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18). "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken" (Psalm 55:22). "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid" (John 14:27).

Now, let's pray together:

Lord, we come to You, laying our ###'s heavy heart at Your feet. You see her, You hear her, and You're with her. We ask for Your comfort, Your peace, and Your strength. Give her clarity, courage, and wisdom to navigate this situation. Show her the way, Lord. If this relationship isn't Your will for her life, remove it far from her. If it is, heal it, restore it, and make it a blessing. Surround her with Your love, Your protection, and Your joy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Keep holding on, dear one. The Lord is with you, and you're not alone. We're here for you, praying with you, and believing with you for a breakthrough. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). He's got this.
