Bitterness and sadness

Lord I apologize I’m sorry for my bitterness and bad thoughts. It’s hard for me because it seems like my life has been one problem after the next and never mind love I’m married and I feel lonely and unhappy because I have to carry the burdens because my spouse can’t. He is sick and disabled I know you know. It’s seems like what I do for others is never enough for them to return kindness back my way. Even at work my manager would say I’m a hard worker and treat me unfairly. Giving me more work, no raise, no opportunities just always wanting more. She has a huge ego as if I depend on her because I need the job. I’m looking for a new job I have been searching for a year and I have had interviews but no hired. I pray Lord that you please help me find a better job with better pay and management and people. I no longer feel valued at my job. Even with all the good reviews it’s never enough. I’m constantly being attacked and overlooked by management. I pray that my life doesn’t make me bitter or sad that I don’t lose hope and my faith. That new beginnings could still happen. That I know you’re in control of my life and my family. Lord, please help me find a better job. Provide me with a better job and better pay with a better work environment. A job I will enjoy doing. I ask for financial stability and healing for my husband as for my sons I pray Lord that they may have patience and love for us because I know it’s a difficult situation. I ask for your help in Jesus Christ’s name Amen

We hear the weight of your heart, dear sister, and we lift it before the Lord with deep compassion. The burdens you carry—physical, emotional, and spiritual—are heavy, and it is no small thing to feel unseen, undervalued, and stretched beyond what seems bearable. Yet even in this, we declare that the God who sees Hagar in the wilderness sees *you* (Genesis 16:13). He knows the loneliness of your marriage, the exhaustion of your labor, and the ache of your soul. You are not forgotten.

First, we must address the bitterness and sadness that have taken root in your heart. Scripture warns us, *"See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many"* (Hebrews 12:15). Bitterness is a poison that distorts our view of God’s goodness and hardens our hearts toward others. We rebuke it in Jesus’ name. You have every reason to feel weary, but we pray that the Holy Spirit would soften your heart to receive God’s comfort and perspective. The enemy would love for you to believe that your suffering is meaningless, but we declare that God works *all things* together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Even now, He is shaping you into a woman of endurance, character, and hope (Romans 5:3-5).

Your marriage is a sacred covenant, and we honor the vows you have made before God. Yet we also acknowledge the loneliness and imbalance in your union. Scripture calls husbands and wives to *"submit to one another out of reverence for Christ"* (Ephesians 5:21) and to *"bear one another’s burdens"* (Galatians 6:2). It is not God’s design for you to carry this load alone. We pray for your husband’s healing, both physically and spiritually, that he might grow in his ability to support you as you support him. If he is unable to fulfill certain roles, we ask the Lord to raise up godly men in your church or community to come alongside your family—whether through practical help, prayer, or encouragement. Do not hesitate to seek counsel from your pastor or a trusted Christian counselor to navigate this season with wisdom.

Your workplace struggles reveal a deeper battle: the world often rewards selfishness and punishes integrity. Jesus warned us, *"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first"* (John 15:18). Yet we serve a God who *"executes justice for the oppressed"* (Psalm 146:7) and who *"promotes the righteous"* (Psalm 75:7). We rebuke the spirit of exploitation and unrighteousness in your workplace. You are not a slave to your job; you are a daughter of the King, and your worth is not defined by your manager’s ego or your paycheck. We stand with you in praying for a new job—one where your gifts are celebrated, your labor is fairly compensated, and your supervisors honor God in their leadership. But we also ask the Lord to guard your heart from resentment. *"Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing"* (1 Peter 3:9). Even in this trial, God is teaching you to trust Him as your Provider (Matthew 6:33).

For your sons, we pray that they would see Christ in you—that your endurance under trial would be a testimony of faith (2 Thessalonians 1:4). It is difficult for children to watch their parents struggle, but God can use this season to teach them compassion, patience, and dependence on Him. Pray with them, read Scripture with them, and remind them that God is their Father, too. *"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7).

Most of all, we must address the foundation of your faith. You closed your prayer in Jesus’ name, and we rejoice in that! For *"there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12). If you have never surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, believe that Jesus died for them and rose again, and receive His gift of salvation (Romans 10:9). If you are already a believer, we encourage you to draw near to Him in this season. *"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28). The enemy would love for you to believe that God has abandoned you, but we declare that He is close to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister, lifting up her marriage, her work, her heart, and her family. Lord, You see the weight she carries, and we ask that You would lighten her load. Heal her husband, restore his strength, and give him a renewed sense of purpose in You. For her sons, grant them patience, love, and a deep trust in Your sovereignty. Father, we rebuke the spirit of bitterness and sadness in her life. Replace it with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Provide her with a new job—one that values her, pays her fairly, and allows her to thrive. But more than that, Lord, remind her that her worth is found in You alone.

We pray for her faith to remain steadfast. When the enemy whispers that You have forgotten her, let her cling to Your promises. When she feels alone, remind her that You are her ever-present help (Psalm 46:1). When she is weary, renew her strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). And when she is tempted to despair, let her remember that joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5).

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who bore our burdens so that we might walk in freedom. Amen.

Hold fast to hope, dear sister. The God who parted the Red Sea can surely open a door for you in your workplace. The God who raised Lazarus from the dead can surely bring healing to your husband. And the God who turned water into wine can surely turn your sorrow into joy. *"Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy"* (Psalm 126:5). Keep pressing into Him.

Dear sister, we're here with you, feeling the weight of your heart. The loneliness in your marriage, the unfairness at work, the constant struggle - it's overwhelming. But remember, you're not alone. God sees you, He's with you, and He's working all things together for your good.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face. In the quiet moments, pour out your heart to Him. He's there, listening, caring. He understands your pain, your frustration, your weariness. Trust that He's got this. He's got you.

We also want to remind you to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He's your strength, your hope, your peace. When everything else seems to be falling apart, He remains constant. Cling to Him, dear sister. He won't let you down.

And remember, it's okay to ask for help. Reach out to your church community, your friends, your family. You don't have to carry this burden alone. Let others come alongside you, support you, pray for you.

We're praying for you, sister. For healing in your marriage, for a better job, for financial stability, for patience and love for your sons. We're asking God to fill you with His peace, His joy, His strength. We're trusting that He's got a plan, a purpose in all of this.

Keep holding on, dear sister. Better days are coming. Keep your eyes on the horizon, on the promise of a new beginning. God's got you.

Praying for you and your request in Jesus. Do we search the Bible for our promises that are hidden for us to find, believe, claim and meditate on?

Have we ever really meditated on Matthew 6 where Jesus instructs us to take no thought for our lives? I have looked at this in terms of the rest of the Bible where I have learned to claim His Promises in Jesus and take on His thoughts for my life. Thank You Lord Jesus for Blessing me to learn to stop thinking about my life, learn to take on Your thoughts for my life and so much more for Your Glory and my good in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Do you Believe Jesus died for our sins, is Risen from the dead, is Preparing a place for us and is about to call us to join Him?

Are you watching for Jesus in the Clouds of Glory? Jesus is about to call us to join Him!

We can do everything Jesus did and more! We can speak; sickness leave in Jesus! Be healed by Jesus stripes! I am healed by Jesus stripes! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

You can copy and paste this to pray every day and share...

There is nothing that happens for us that is bad except our thoughts about what is happening to us. The Bible says All things work together for our good in Jesus! Look at everything as good!

Sing through out your days Thank You Jesus, Praise You Jesus, Glory to You Lord Jesus or anything that is on your heart to sing to Jesus! It doesn't matter how we sound, Angels will join in with us and Jesus will join in with us as well as fight for us, knock down walls for us, open locks for us, save people for us, evil will flee from us, He heals us and He will over flow His Holy Peace in us.

Praying for others on here and reading your Bible will help you tremendously.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life from Matthew 6. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. My wife returned. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus! All things work together for my good in Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus! Glory to You Lord Jesus!!!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Pray this prayer look up the verses and pray it again with your friends and family and let's mount up with wings as eagles and soar. Soar with me.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.

Bless us to sing praises and thanks to You Lord Jesus so You can fill us with the wine of the Spirit in Jesus Name, Amen.
