We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, recognizing the distress and discomfort that bed bugs can bring into a home. First, we must address the mention of Saint Dominic of Silos in your prayer. While we honor the saints of the faith, we must remember that our prayers are to be directed to God alone, through the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and no other name by which we can approach the throne of grace. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
Jesus Christ is our mediator, and it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. 1 Timothy 2:5 tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." Therefore, we must pray in the name of Jesus, for He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
Now, let us lift up your home to the Lord, asking for His divine intervention and protection. We pray that the Lord would rebuke these pests in the name of Jesus and command them to leave your property forever. We ask that not one bed bug would remain, nor would any be allowed to infest another home. We stand on the promise of Psalm 91:3, which assures us, "For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence."
