Heavenly Father, we come to you in Jesus name

It is written, 'The truth shall set you free.'
Lord Jesus, we pray that you save the team at ###, their lawyers and legal representatives, who are bound by Satan's lies.
We ask your precious blood over those who are chosen and Christians. May you cover them and give them peace and understanding.
May you teach them to be righteous and compassionate.
As we can see, even those who are lawyers and studied law can engage themselves in horrible sins.
Lord, I pray you forgive their sins and let them not do anything that is evil in your eyes.
Lord, we do not wish to boast before You, nor do we wish to look down on lawyers who fall short of Your glory.
However, we humbly acknowledge that we cannot always expect the educated to act righteously.
Lord it is written in Psalms 51,
16For You do not delight in sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You are not pleased with burnt offering. [1 Sam 15:22]
17My sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
A broken and contrite heart such, O God, You will not despise.
Lord, I pray in Jesus name that you work on their hearts so that they can recognise their sins and hate their sins enough so that they don't continue to live a sinful life.
Lord it grieves my heart how these people are disregarding human life and honest communication.
Stir their hearts, Lord, and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness.
We thank Your Holiness and Your Holy Spirit who is interceding for us and them all the time.
We exalt your name on high, Jesus Christ.
Let your will be done, Heavenly Father, amen

We join you in this relentless prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness, and we are encouraged by the humility and compassion in your heart as you intercede even for those who have opposed you.

You have prayed rightly that the truth shall set people free, for Jesus said in John 8:32 you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free. We also cling to His promise in Matthew 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. It is the Lord alone who can create that holy hunger where there was once hardness, and we agree with you that only He can break through the lies of the enemy. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 4:4 the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, that the light of the Good News of the glory of Christ should not dawn on them. So we pray not with boasting or contempt, but with mercy, remembering that we also fall short of the glory of God as Romans 3:23 teaches.

We share your grief over disregard for human life and honest communication, and your understanding that education and status do not guarantee righteousness. As Jeremiah 9:23-24 reminds us, let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, but let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am Yahweh who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness in the earth. True wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord in Proverbs 9:10, not with degrees or legal training.

We also affirm your heart after Psalm 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. That is the work only God can do, to give a new heart as He promised in Ezekiel 36:26 I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. And we pray this together with you in obedience to Matthew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, and to 1 Timothy 2:1-4 which urges us to make petitions, prayers, intercessions for all people, for this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth.

So we pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who is the way, the truth, and the life in John 14:6. We thank You for Your holiness and for Your Holy Spirit who intercedes for us according to Romans 8:26. We lift up to You the team at the place mentioned in this request, together with their lawyers and legal representatives. Lord, where Satan has bound minds with lies, shine Your light and expose every deception. Where there is hardness, grant a broken and contrite heart that hates sin and turns from it. Forgive their sins as You have forgiven ours through the precious blood of Jesus, and teach them to do what is just and to love mercy as taught in Micah 6:8.

Father, we ask You to cover those who are Yours, who are chosen and walking with Christ, with the peace that surpasses all understanding in Philippians 4:7, and give them understanding and endurance. Stir the hearts of all involved and give them an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness that cannot be satisfied by argument or advantage, but only by being filled with Christ Himself. Let them not do what is evil in Your eyes, but let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Transform them by the renewing of their minds in Romans 12:2 so that they may discern what is good and acceptable and perfect before You.

We exalt Your name, Lord Jesus, and we trust Your perfect justice and Your perfect mercy. Continue this good work in all our hearts, and let truth and compassionate righteousness prevail. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

We hear how heavy this has been on your heart, and we thank you for bringing it to the Lord so honestly. Longing for people who seem hardened or dishonest to come to love truth and to act with compassion is a Christlike burden, and it makes sense you would feel grief when human life and honest communication are treated lightly.

We appreciate the humility in your prayer, not wanting to look down on anyone but asking God to do what only He can do inside a heart. Education and good intentions alone do not make a person hunger for what is right. That thirst is something God Himself creates when He softens a heart and gives a new direction, and He often does that work quietly over time as people are confronted with their need for Him.

One way to keep praying without carrying the weight all day is to keep a short list of the team and representatives you mentioned and bring them before the Lord at a set time each day, briefly and by name as you know them, then consciously leave them in His hands until the next time. It can help keep your intercession steady and your own heart at rest.

Father, we lift this team and their lawyers to You in Jesus name. Do Your gracious work in their hearts, draw any who do not know You to Your mercy, and cover those who are Yours with Your peace and understanding. Teach all of us to love truth and to walk in compassion, and give our friend rest as they trust You to do what is right. Let Your will be done. In Jesus name, amen.

Your earnest prayer for an unquenchable thirst for truth and righteousness is heard and is right before God, for our Lord Himself has said, Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled, and again, Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

It is well to bring before the throne of grace those who are learned in the law and yet remain in need of the law of grace. Education and knowledge cannot give a new heart, nor can any righteousness of our own commend us to God. As the Scripture says, they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. The same mercy that must save the least must save the greatest, and that mercy is found only in Jesus Christ, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life.

You have prayed wisely from Psalm 51, that God desires not mere outward sacrifice but a broken and contrite heart. Such a heart He will not despise. Take comfort in this, that the Lord Jesus is the great binder up of broken hearts, and He is fitted for this work because His own heart was broken for sinners upon the cross. He was pierced that pierced hearts might be healed, and His blood still blots out transgression as a thick cloud. There is hope for the most hardened, for the God who rescued David after his grievous fall can rescue any who are brought to see and hate their sin.

Continue therefore to pray that the Holy Spirit will convince of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment, and will stir in these souls a true loathing for sin and a thirst for that righteousness which is only in Christ. Pray that they may be brought to repentance and faith in Him alone for salvation, to speak truthfully, to act justly, and to show compassion as those who have themselves received mercy. He lives to intercede for sinners, and He is able to make the stony heart to become a fountain of living water.

We join you in praying that the Lord will cover His own with peace and understanding, keep them from evil, and teach them to walk in holiness, and that He will work in the hearts of those who now disregard truth and human life, bringing them to a brokenness that leads to life. May the Lord give to all concerned that reality of faith which lives upon God, serves Christ with the heart, and knows the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Let us ask that His will be done, and that Christ be exalted as the only Savior of sinners.
